Abstract: The combination with a paper tissue-dispensing box of a scent-imparting sachet, in which the supply stack of tissues acts as a closure for the box and provides a confined area, i.e., much like a bureau drawer, in which the sachet is able to impart its scent effectively over a prolonged period to the tissues removed therefrom one at a time.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a disposal device for gum and the like having a generally cubical housing, a disposable bag removably supported therein, and appropriate access openings for gum disposal and bag removal. Each of the side walls of the housing is formed with a slot therein for the insertion of a sheet of advertising or other printed display material. The side walls are made of transparent or clear plastic material for best viewing the display material. The housing includes a recess in one of the side walls for holding a packet of wrapping tissues for the sanitary disposal of spent chewing gum. A turntable supports the housing for easy rotation on a table top, such that the side wall mounted tissues may be brought within convenient reach, and the display panels may be readily viewed by many persons seated at the same table.
Abstract: A spectacle holder having a cover sheet consisting of a main section and a flap section which are foldable toward each other to hold the spectacle glasses, the flap section having notches in the opposite end portions thereof to receive base end portions of the bows of the frame. The holder is detachably attachable to a belt or a wall surface.
Abstract: An eyeglass case is disclosed wherein the eyeglass lenses may be cleaned without need for the fingers to touch the lenses. The eyeglass case construction permits the user to insert his fingers to clean the lenses without the fingers in direct contact with the lenses. The case construction is of low cost, disposable material so that after exhaustion of the cleansing surfaces, the case may be disposed and a fresh case utilized. In one embodiment the case surface itself provides a lens cleansing surface.
Abstract: A bathroom fixture of improved construction, function and appearance for making available both conventional toilet-tissue and a supplemental material, for example a moistening material for application to the human body such as premoistened sheets manually withdrawable from a container or housing component.
Abstract: Apparatus for facilitating performances of chores such as cleaning the udders of cows includes a band and a latch for clamping the band on a pail which contains cleaning fluid. A pair of upright members extending from the band and support a disposable towel dispenser above the pail. A handle which is located on top of the dispenser enables carrying the dispenser and pail as a unit.
Abstract: A storage receptacle for a multiple adhesive bandage pack includes front and rear walls joined at their lower extremities and defining a trough-shaped compartment therebetween. A flange element is carried by the front wall and extends inwardly therefrom a sufficient distance to overlie at least the front wall of a multiple adhesive bandage pack which is stored within the compartment so as to prevent removal of the pack from the compartment. A plurality of apertures are formed in the front wall of the receptacle to extend therethrough below the flange element. A key member is given a set of studs corresponding in number and arrangement to the number and arrangement of the apertures in the front wall of the receptacle. The studs are insertable through the apertures to thereby engage the front wall of the pack and cause the pack to shift so that the front wall thereof moves from beneath the flange element to thereby permit removal of the pack from the storage receptacle.
Abstract: This invention provides a device for dispensing flexible sheets of absorbent paper or other fiberous material. The sheets are preferably end-wrap papers used in the art of cosmetology and particularly for permanently setting waves in hair. The device employs a container with a slit in the top. The preferred device is of triangular cross-section having a width less than the width of a given end-wrap sheet. The end wraps are withdrawn from the container through the slit such that, the removal of one end wrap causes the next lower end wrap to be partially withdrawn through the slit. The container can be removably fastened to a wrist bracelet which is adjustable to fit a user's arm.
Abstract: A disposable, compactable moisture-impervious package for dispensing a stack of premoistened sheets has a pocket portion and a flap portion, each made of a pliable and compactable moisture-impervious material. The pocket portion has first and second walls adhered to each other to provide a compartment between them for receiving the stack of sheets. The sheets are retained in the compartment with their flat surfaces generally parallel to the first and second walls of the pocket. A dispensing opening is provided in one of the walls of the pocket overlying the flat surfaces of the sheets, and a primary seal for the opening prevents the undesirable evaporation of moisture from the sheets. The flap portion of the package extends from a wall of the pocket portion, and is removably securable over the dispensing opening to provide a secondary moisture-impervious seal after the primary seal has been broken.
Abstract: A device readily attachable to a standard toilet-tissue dispenser of a roll type for positioning adjacent thereto in visual alignment supplemental material such as a container of prewetted toilet sheets. The sheets are manually withdrawable from an aperture which is held firmly at a fixed position to assure their ready withdrawal and consistent location.
Abstract: A unitary multipurpose bathroom fixture of improved function and appearance for making available both conventional dry sheets of toilet-tissue from a roll carried by a spindle component and supplemental premoistened sheets from a container component. A first fastening means, exclusively serving an engaging purpose, is integral with portions supporting the spindle component. A second fastening means, also exclusively serving an engaging function, is integral with the container component. The two fastening means are adapted to effect a firm engagement with one another and thus to provide the unitary fixture. Also included are means for determining the direction of withdrawal of the premoistened sheets to insure their individual availability and to prevent dislodgement of the container. Other means relate to convenience and economy in supplying the premoistened sheets.
Abstract: A combination package for supplying tissue to wrap chewed gum in and to hold the wrapped gum includes a solid or intact wall forming a body casing and an inner partition to separate the casing interior into a tissue supply compartment and a wrapped gum holding compartment; the wall having an opening therein for easy removal of the wrapped gum and a removable closure for said opening. Also, the package may have a large bottom plate providing projecting flanges on which securing means may press.
Abstract: An improved compact device easily attached by sliding it onto one post of a standard roll-type toilet-tissue holder for positioning a container of a material particularly usable for health care or personal hygiene purposes at that location, e.g., a material such as prewetted or self-wetting sheets, an encapsulated liquid, a pressurized liquid, etc., and holding the container in a given manner pending or during its usage.
Abstract: A wider and a narrower surface and back half-cut lines are provided adjacent to each other on a wall of a closed carton or container. Carton layers are separated from each other at the surface and back half-cut lines to thereby open the container. When the container is in a closed state, there is no perforated point passing all the way through the wall from the surface to the back or vice versa. Thus, moisture from the outside is prevented from passing into the inside of the container, and yet it is very easy to open the container.
Abstract: A novel package for containing and dispensing moistened tissues which are arranged in a folded stacked array, including a film wrapper surrounding the stack of tissues and sealed on the ends with a longitudinal overlap of the edges on the top of the stack which allows access for removal of the tissues. This overlapping edge is sealed initially with an adhesive strip which is removable and the entire stack and wrapper are placed within a paperboard carton with a removable section in the top panel which allows access to the strip and overlapping edge to facilitate removal of the tissues. The package further includes means for retaining the film wrapper within the carton as the tissues are removed so that it does not pull out through the opening in the carton.
Abstract: A hollow receptacle has a relatively small hole through its wall to drop wrapped chewed gum into its interior and it has a relatively large hole in its top wall for the discharge of the wrapped gum, the large hole being normally closed by an ash tray which obscures the wrapped gum from view. An area is provided in the front of the interior for a supply of wrapping tissues which are to be withdrawn through a forward slot.
