Abstract: A cosmetic case has a generally rectangular shape with an internal space receive and hold multiple cosmetic cartridges containing various makeup products. This case has a slim-line design to facilitate easy storage and transport. Cosmetic cartridges can be inserted into the case from multiple and stored depending on the particular embodiment of the case. A securing means inside the case prevents inserted cartridges from dislodging from the case until desired by the user. The cosmetic case and system provides the advantage and ability to store cosmetic cartridges of different shapes and dimension in the case for optimal use. This invention enables a user to efficiently store and carry various cosmetic products for quick use especially when one desires a makeup touch up.

Abstract: An assembly, system and method for reversibly combining handheld articles, one of which may be a cellular phone. A user may hingedly join cellular phones or other handheld articles with additional handheld articles in such a manner that they may be folded flat against each other in either of two directions. If desired, the cellular phones and other handheld devices may be connected electrically/electronically with each other or with devices or systems external of the assembly.

Abstract: A lifesaving kit is disclosed. The kit includes a body that can be attached to a cellular phone. A compartment is disposed on the body and contains an article of medical paraphernalia. The compartment has a closed condition and an open condition. An electronics system is configured to provide instructions on how to utilize the medical paraphernalia. The stand may include one or more bi-stable springs connected to the rear surface of the housing by an attachment feature, such as slides or an anchor. The bi-stable spring portion of the stand has a straight or inactive configuration and a curled activated configuration. When a user places pressure on a straightened bi-stable spring, the bi-stable spring curls outward away from the enclosure and can act as a stand for the electronic device. The stand may be removably or permanently affixed to the enclosure.

An integrally formed latching device is located in the front portion of the case. The latching device comprises a push tab in the form of a tongue-like section of the base peripheral wall. The distal and intermediate portions of the push tab are separated from adjacent portions of the base peripheral wall by at least one slot which extends alongside the push tab to its proximal end. Coacting cam means associated with the push tab and with an adjacent portion of the cover produces a force biasing the front portion of the base and cover apart when the push tab is moved inwardly with the latch engaged. Interengagement means is integrally formed on the cover and base peripheral walls to latch the cover to the base when the front portions of the base and cover are pressed together and unlatch when the front portions of the base and cover are forced apart.

In the utility mode, the drawer is pulled out to an extent exposing the cosmetic supply and aligning the mirror with the window.

Abstract: An improved powder drum for containing a dry powder having a drum portion and a cover portion. The drum portion having a side wall with a predetermined configuration, an open top end and a bottom end with an aperture therein, having a predetermined configuration. A closure is provided on the open top end of the drum portion that completely closes the top end. The cover portion has a side wall with substantially the same configuration as the predetermined configuration of the side wall of the drum portion and telescopes over the side wall of the drum portion. The cover portion also has a bottom end having a concavity that mates with and extends substantially through the aperture in the bottom end of the drum portion. The concavity has substantially the same configuration as the aperture. A flocked material substantially covers an inner surface of the side wall, the bottom end and the concavity of the cover portion and seals the assembled drum portion and cover portion.
