Abstract: A disposable, sterilized surgical clipper includes a body having a top portion and a bottom portion and a clipper head attached to the top portion of the body. The clipper head includes a housing and a blade assembly. A power source is housed within the body for operating the clipper. The clipper head and the body may be a single, integrated unit or the clipper head may be removable from the body. In either embodiment, the body, clipper head and power source are sterilized as a single unit so as to be used in a sterile setting.

The system includes a cleaning device having a housing configured to hold the shaver upside down to place the operator head in a basin for cleaning the same with a liquid supplied from a tank. The apparatus incorporates an externally controllable electric circuit for driving the operator head in accordance with an external electric signal generated by a controller within the device. The device's housing has a signal transmitting means for transmitting the electric signal, while the apparatus has a signal receiving means which comes into electrical interconnection with the signal transmitting means. The signal receiving means is disposed intermediate the height of the apparatus such that the electrical interconnection can be made within the height of the apparatus, requiring no extra height dimension to the system for the electrical interconnection.

Abstract: The barber's portable case apparatus provides for storing and carrying multiple barber's tools such as clippers, for example, in a compact arrangement that provides forced air cooling for the tools. The case is designed to adequately and removably contain clippers without being overly large, thereby contributing further to portability and space savings. The multiple electrical outlet may provide for powering the fans and other needed appliances. The apparatus may obviously hold other devices in need of storage and forced air ventilation for cooling. By cooling such tools as clippers, for example, both a barber and a customer are saved any high heat contact common in the use of such implements. A plurality of channels conducts air to the fans.

The packaging system permits a consumer to actuate the adjustment assembly to display its extension and retraction, and to provide a demonstration of the different operating states of the razor assembly.

The container is disposed in a circulation path between the basin and the tank in order to replenish the solute into the circulating solution or the liquid. Thus, the solute can be constantly supplied to the solution or the cleaning liquid for maintaining the cleaning effect over a prolonged period of use and for easy replenishment of the solute, eliminating the necessity of replacing the whole cleaning liquid.

The base has a length and a width that are at least approximately as long as a length and a width of the shaving implement, respectively. The base also has a height. The engagement structure(s) are operable to releaseably secure the shaving implement to the tray. The protrusion(s) extend heightwise from the base and are positioned substantially adjacent to a switch on the shaving implement that controls the powered device. The protrusion(s) extend to a height that is at least as high as the switch when the shaving implement is releasably secured in the engagement structure(s) and guard the switch from contact with outside forces that can unintentionally power on the battery-powered device.

Abstract: A sterilizing cabinet for storing and sterilizing personal toilet articles, such as toothbrushes. The cabinet has a housing including a swinging door, receptacles for receiving and supporting a variety of differently configured electrically operated toothbrushes, and a rack having holes or slots for receiving and supporting manual toothbrushes. The cabinet has an electrical system having and supplying a sterilizing lamp capable of emitting ultraviolet radiation, an illuminating lamp capable of emitting visible light, and an AC-to-DC converter connected to recharging elements disposed within the receptacles for receiving electric toothbrushes. The sterilizing and illuminating lamps are independently switched. A safety switch senses door closure, and breaks power to the sterilizing lamp when the door is open. A charging receptacle connected to the AC-to-DC converter is mounted on the exterior of the cabinet.

The display unit displays status information of the shaver and provides feedback to the user during shaving.

Abstract: A housing of a hand-held blender includes a wall fabricated from a first plastic material having at least one outer surface. The housing is further provided in at least one area with at least one second plastic material whose hardness is lower than the hardness of the first plastic material. The second plastic material is molded onto the inner surface of the wall by injection molding, such that a first area of the at least one area projects from the inner surface of the wall at least in individual sections, forming bearing areas. These bearing areas serve as supports for drive, control and switching devices. With this arrangement, the housing affords particular ease of manufacture while at the same time performing a damping function, improving the manipulation and reducing the noise level of a hand-held mixer while in operation.
