    Abstract: A cleaning system for cleaning an operator head of a hair removing apparatus such as a dry shaver. The system includes a cleaning device having a housing configured to hold the shaver upside down to place the operator head in a basin for cleaning the same with a liquid supplied from a tank. The apparatus incorporates an externally controllable electric circuit for driving the operator head in accordance with an external electric signal generated by a controller within the device. The device's housing has a signal transmitting means for transmitting the electric signal, while the apparatus has a signal receiving means which comes into electrical interconnection with the signal transmitting means. The signal receiving means is disposed intermediate the height of the apparatus such that the electrical interconnection can be made within the height of the apparatus, requiring no extra height dimension to the system for the electrical interconnection.

The multiple electrical outlet may provide for powering the fans and other needed appliances. The apparatus may obviously hold other devices in need of storage and forced air ventilation for cooling. By cooling such tools as clippers, for example, both a barber and a customer are saved any high heat contact common in the use of such implements. A plurality of channels conducts air to the fans.

The packaging system further enables a consumer to physically interact with the razor assembly while contained therein. The packaging system permits a consumer to actuate the adjustment assembly to display its extension and retraction, and to provide a demonstration of the different operating states of the razor assembly.

The device includes a housing configured to hold the hair removing apparatus, a basin mounted in the housing for receiving therein the operator head, and a tank storing the solution or the liquid. A circulator is provided to circulate the cleaning liquid between the tank and the basin. The device includes a container which is configured to hold the solute and is formed separately from the tank. The container is disposed in a circulation path between the basin and the tank in order to replenish the solute into the circulating solution or the liquid. Thus, the solute can be constantly supplied to the solution or the cleaning liquid for maintaining the cleaning effect over a prolonged period of use and for easy replenishment of the solute, eliminating the necessity of replacing the whole cleaning liquid.

    Abstract: A case for receiving and retaining a plurality of barbers' hair clippers has a flat bottom with raised peripheral walls, a section of which has an array of notches defined in its upper edge to receive and engage electric cords extending beyond the case to connect to wall sockets. The clippers are retained side-by-side in one compartment separated by partitions from other compartments containing other barber's accessories. A lid is pivotably attached to the case to close the case during transport of the retained items. The lid has a mirror on its interior surface and is selectively removable from the case. The clippers are retained in sufficiently spaced relation to permit the cords to be folded or coiled and stored in the clipper compartment during transport.

The sterilizing and illuminating lamps are independently switched. A safety switch senses door closure, and breaks power to the sterilizing lamp when the door is open. A charging receptacle connected to the AC-to-DC converter is mounted on the exterior of the cabinet.

The remote device may further comprise a mirror. The mirror and the display unit may be combined to form a single unit. Additionally, the remote device may perform the function of charging stand for a rechargeable battery of the shaver. In that case the remote device has a docking bay for receiving the shaver. The shaver's battery is charged via electrical contacts between the remote device and the electric shaver, or by means of coils in the remote device and the shaver. The display unit displays status information of the shaver and provides feedback to the user during shaving.

With this arrangement, the housing affords particular ease of manufacture while at the same time performing a damping function, improving the manipulation and reducing the noise level of a hand-held mixer while in operation.
