Abstract: A multi-tool includes a plurality of individual tools such as four individual hex-head screwdrivers, a hexalobular internal screwdriver, and a tire repair tool, each of the individual tools rotatably coupled to a main body of the multi-tool. A distal portion of the hexalobular internal screwdriver may be nested within a proximal portion of the tire repair tool. When the multi-tool is in a closed configuration, a distal end of the tire repair tool may be located inside a distal end of a largest one of the hex-head screwdrivers.

Abstract: An abrading tool includes a base member having a support portion defining a first level, and a plurality of integral raised islands extending upwardly above the first level. The base member may be formed of metal or a non-conductive material. The islands are spaced apart from one another. Each island includes a respective tip portion. The distance between adjacent islands may be greater than the width of a single island. An abrasive composite material, including a carrier material and particles of an abrasive material, is affixed to the tip portions of at least some of the islands. The abrasive material may be applied by electroplating, electro-less plating, brazing or another method. The abrasive material is applied only to the tip portion of the islands, such that the first level of the support portion is substantially free of the abrasive material. Methods of making the abrading tool are also described.

Abstract: A combination includes a water bottle holder adapter and a water bottle holder. The water bottle holder adapter includes first and second engaging portions. The first engaging portion can engage with a bicycle seat. The water bottle holder includes first, second, and third extensions. The first extension is detachably connected to the second engaging portion of the water bottle holder adapter. The third extension extends transversely to the first extension and includes an abutment face on which a water bottle can rest. The first, second, and third extensions together define a receiving space receiving the water bottle and having an opening opposite to the abutment face. Each of the first and second extensions includes an end adjacent to the opening. A first spacing between the end of the first extension and the abutment face is smaller than a second spacing between the end of the second extension and the abutment face.

Abstract: A two-piece folded tool bag is described. The tool bag includes a tool bag body including an open topped storage volume formed from a primary blank including a first sidewall panel and a second sidewall panel joined to opposite edges of a primary base panel, and a secondary blank including a third sidewall panel and a fourth sidewall panel joined to opposite edges of a secondary base panel. The primary base panel overlaps with the secondary base panel and a plurality of attachment panels attach adjacent sidewall panels.

Abstract: A receiving device for tool bits includes a receiving body, at least one receiving space defined on one end of the receiving body, each receiving space having a plurality of first protrusions adequately located therein, each of the receiving space having a plurality of position spaces separated by the first protrusions, the position space having two pairs of fourth protrusions abutting against the periphery of the tool bit so that the tool bit is positioned at the position space and would not drop down from the position space.

Abstract: A receiving device for tool bits includes a receiving body, at least one receiving space defined on one end of the receiving body, each receiving space having a plurality of first protrusions adequately located therein, each of the receiving space having a plurality of position spaces separated by the first protrusions, the position space having two pairs of fourth protrusions abutting against the periphery of the tool bit so that the tool bit is positioned at the position space and would not drop down from the position space.

Abstract: A multi-function tool case includes a housing body having a wall extending from a first end to a second end. The wall includes an exterior surface and an interior surface. A cavity is defined by the interior surface and extends from the first end toward the second end. An extension member extends from the exterior surface adjacent the second end and defines a socket oriented along a tool axis for receiving a first portion of an accessory for retaining a tool bit. A cover assembly is coupled to the first end. The cover assembly includes a cap portion and a first lid member rotatably coupled to the cap portion. The cap portion and the lid member are configured to substantially enclose the cavity.

Abstract: A dock with plural side-by-side bays that each stores one treatment head. The dock has plural parallel slots that each communicate with a bay and the dock has a first side open to the bays for movement of the heads into and out of the bays. Each head has a connecting post extending through a slot so each post can slide in its slot for removal of each head from a respective bay. A pole has an end connector for detachable connection to a post, one at a time, while the one treatment head is in a bay, and for sliding the head out of the dock for use.

Abstract: A case for holding a hand tool in a first position wherein the handle projects from the case and engages the hand tool such that the hand tool is prevented from being removed from the case while simultaneously, the handle can be operated with respect to the case to test a function of the hand tool. The case is also adapted to hold the hand tool in a second position wherein the handle fits within the case. The case includes a cover positioned on top of a base, wherein the cover has an opening that when combined with an anti-theft device is adapted to hold the hand tool in the first position. Also included is a base adapted to carry interchangeable bits for the hand tool. The base includes a through hole to allow the working end of the hand tool to pass therethrough and engage a frictional engaging member that opposes a direction of rotation of the working end to test a function of the hand tool.

Abstract: A cleaning system stored within its own storage case having an integrated and collapsible handle, a dustpan, and a broom head specifically designed to sweep under furniture and other obstacles is herein disclosed. When in a broom configuration, a curved handle portion and the bristled broom head allows cleaning beneath objects. The handle can be removed from the broom portion and attached to the dustpan to remove dirt and debris. The broom head, with its own separate angled handle, may also be utilized as a whisk broom to collect the dirt and refuse into the dustpan. All components are stored in a self-contained carrying case. The storage case also has internal fasteners to secure the components of the apparatus securely therewithin.

Abstract: A tool layout caddy has an upstanding vertical post with a handle at one end and a base member at the other end. A receptacle for the placement and storage of tools, chalk, and other necessary items for the layout operation is secured to the vertical post. A sheath member is provided for the placement and storage of a measuring square. The base member of the caddy houses the chalk line, a chalk line reservoir for replenishing the chalk line, and a chalk line retracting mechanism. A stop marker ensures that the end section of the chalk line always remains external to the base member and, during use, a hook at the end of the chalk line may be secured to the receptacle for ease of access during layout operations.

Abstract: Torque adjusting drive systems and packaged torque adjusting drive systems are disclosed herein. One aspect of the disclosure is directed to systems and torque adjusting drivers for specific firearm-related work tasks. In one embodiment, a torque adjusting drive system includes a torque adjusting driver. The driver includes a shaft assembly having a fastener coupling portion and a handle. The driver also includes a torque adjusting mechanism for setting a user-selected torque value and a torque value indicator mounted on the driver for displaying at least the user-selected torque value. In addition to the driver, the system also includes a plurality of fastener interfacing attachments configured to couple to the fastener coupling portion and for driving one or more target fasteners. The system further includes a torque guide having a plurality of representative indicia of the target fasteners, wherein the torque guide communicates recommended torque value settings for the target fasteners.

Abstract: The invention provides a pair of tongs in combination with a basting apparatus and an optional sharpened edge that can be used as a knife for cutting into food to check for degree of cooking. The invention also provides a container for use as a holder of a tool, such as a pair of tongs with a basting apparatus, for applying a spreadable basting material (e.g., sauce) held in the container. The container provides a stable support of the tool, such as the pair of tongs, to prevent cross contamination of working surfaces and basting material on the basting apparatus, while at the same time providing a holder from which the tongs/baster efficiently can be retrieved for use.

Abstract: The invention is a multi functional box for storing circular tool accessories . The blade solution would contain and organize circular blades. The storage box would allow a blade for cutting metal, masonry, plywood, plastic, framing lumber and concrete all within one location. The make up of the invention is a box, inserts, latch and hinge. All pieces manufacture out of light metal or plastic for durability. The invention would still remain light and small enough so a person could carry from one place to another by means of the handle. Once the desired blades are in place, the container latches closed and the inserts sit inside. The compact design allows a person to keep it within another storage container if desired.

The material is capable of conforming to the fingers and grip orientation of a user of the writing instrument to provide a comfortable, ergonomically correct writing instrument. Additionally, a portion of this writing instrument (e.g., the flexible tube) may be wrapped around at least one digit of the user's writing hand, e.g. the index finger, to provide additional support and comfort. In another embodiment the case is rigid and has an access door for each compartment. Opening the access door allows access to the keys. When the high speed rotating eraser member is engaged to pinstripes, decals, side moldings and other adhered items, it can generate adequate heat to cause the adhesive to lose its adhesion and thus release the pinstripes, decals, side moldings and other adhered items, so they can be removed without damaging the paint or other body parts of the vehicle. The present invention also includes a portable preparation tool kit for automobile body work and the like. The tool kit includes a case, a rotary pneumatic motor with accessories, a various different sized abrasive tools, and different shaped and sized sand tools. All of the abrasive and sand tools can be interchangeably connected to and driven by the rotary pneumatic motor.

Abstract: An open sided elongated and rigid key case is provided for receiving a plurality of laterally spaced apart longitudinally extending keys therein with the base ends of the keys supported from the case for pivotal movement of the keys between stored positions substantially totally contained within the case and exposed positions with the lock insert ends of the keys projecting outwardly of the case. Abstract: A key case (10) consisting of a first cover (12) and a second cover (28) that enclose a first and a second sidemember (14,26) that have sandwiched between them a lower and an upper leaf spring (18,20). The springs control and maintain the retracted and extracted positions of an articulated first and second key (22,24). The keys have near their articulated points a straight receiving step (22B, 24B) and an angular stop (22C, 24C). The steps maintain the keys in a horizontal position and the stops maintain the keys at an angular position where each position is with respect to the horizontal plane of the key case (10). In a second configuration of the invention, two key cases (10) are joined at their sides to provide a key case with four keys. In either configuration when the keys are retracted, the key case (10) takes a very little space and its design prevents tearing or premature wearing of trouser pockets or purse linings.
