Abstract: A graft preparation system includes a fixation implant including a strand of suture wrapped around a graft preparation card. A tenaculum includes a first arm having a first tooth and a second arm having a second tooth that are pivotally connected at a pivot. The first arm includes a slot between the first tooth and the pivot that receives the graft preparation card. A tape suture assembly includes a tape suture and a first suture strand. The tape suture is positioned on a graft, and the tape suture is attached to the graft with a stitch formed with the first suture strand.

Abstract: A hose storage container designed to reduce exposure of the stored hose to UV light. The container includes an enclosure unit with a removable lid, a fastening line, and a conduit. The conduit passes through the sidewall of the enclosure and is comprised two threaded points, one on each end of the conduit, and the connection between them. The conduit is constructed of a UV resistant material and serves to increase protection of the hose from UV light and other elements.

Each sidewall of the opposed sidewalls includes two first retaining surfaces extend away from the base and along the sidewall where the first retaining surfaces are a first distance away from each other. Each sidewall includes two parallel second retaining surfaces extending away from the first retaining surfaces and along the sidewall. The second retaining surfaces are a second distance away from each other and the second distance is greater than the first distance. The storage box includes a rod, and support surfaces associated with each sidewall of the first pair of opposed sidewalls are configured to support the rod.

The tape suture is positioned on a graft, and the tape suture is attached to the graft with a stitch formed with the first suture strand.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to the packaging of metal thin films deposited on polymeric substrates. The packaging method prevents deleterious change of surface energy/water contact angle as a function of time for metal thin films such as rolls, coils, sheets or strips of sputtered or vacuum deposited metal thin films. Methods and kits directed toward a unique packaging and storage scheme are also disclosed. This results in maintenance of the metal film's hydrophilicity and surface energy for extended periods of time.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to the packaging of metal thin films deposited on polymeric substrates. A telescopic cover of a machine tool is formed to be freely expandable and contractible in a predetermined direction. A first cover piece and a second cover piece have a pair of receiving side stoppers that project outward in both ends of side surfaces along a predetermined direction, and slits formed along the predetermined direction in between the pair of receiving side stoppers, as receiving side cover pieces. The second cover piece and the third cover piece have nesting side stoppers that are inserted into the slits by projecting outward in the side surfaces along the predetermined direction, and move between the pair of receiving side stoppers as nesting side cover pieces.

Abstract: Some embodiments disclosed herein provide a cord and retainer system including a cord retainer that retains a cord within a desired configuration. The cord retainer may be a paper element extending around a coiled cord. The cord retainer may promote the structural integrity of the coiled arrangement of the cord, and may have an aesthetically pleasing appearance (e.g., due to having edges that do not expose the internal structure of the material forming the cord retainer. In some embodiments, a second cord (optionally having its own cord retainer) is disposed within coils of the first coiled cord. In some embodiments, one or both of the first and second cord are disposed within one or more cavities of a packaging substrate, to fix their positions in a manner easily understood by a user, to enhance the user's experience upon unpacking the cords.

Advantageously, the present embodiments provide a system in which wire may be secured without modification of the container. Specifically, the present embodiments provide a floating tie down assembly configured to hold together a bundle of welding wire in a welding wire container. The floating tie down assembly is configured to float within the welding wire container, and the floating tie down assembly includes a lower removable insert, an upper removable insert, and a resilient material extending between the lower insert and the upper insert.

The clamshell portions of the container can be locked together when in a closed position. One clamshell portion includes a core holder for holding a roll of foil-type medical seals removably attached to a carrier strip. During dispensing of a medical seal, the carrier strip is pulled so that it is unrolled from the roll and is routed over an exit hump of the dispenser. The exit hump imparts a curl to the metal foil seal that is opposite that which was incurred when rolled on the roll, thereby straightening the foil seal.

Abstract: A substantially toroidal container for coiled vegetation trimmer line has a front shell and a rear shell capable of bonding at the center with heat and pressure, radio frequency, ultrasonic welding, adhesive, or attachment mechanisms. The bonding of the shells leaves a separation between the outer edges of the shells. The separation is nonlinear around the circumference of the container, so that a user can access the trimmer line, but the trimmer line cannot uncoil and spill out of the container. The separation is preferably defined by a series of offset uniform teeth on the outer edges of the shells. One or more teeth may be removed, providing a line aperture through which the end of the trimmer line extends out of the container. Male and female indices on each shell are used to align the teeth during packaging.

Abstract: A medical seal dispenser having a container molded of plastic and having clamshell portions hinged together. The clamshell portions of the container can be locked together when in a closed position. One clamshell portion includes a core holder for holding a roll of medical seals. The core holder includes speed bumps that are raised or domed protrusions on the core holder to provide rolling friction to the roll of medical seals during dispensing. This controlled rotation of the roll prevents spooling if the carrier strip is pulled out of the container too quickly.

Abstract: A retainer ring is provided for use in a welding wire package having looped magnetic welding wire. The ring is a flat sheet of flexible permanent magnet material with an outer periphery and an inner periphery and includes printed material on the ring which can be cut from the ring and affixed to any metal surface.
