Substantially all of the beads have a diameter within 25% of Dmax, where Dmax is a diameter corresponding to a size of an opening of an upper limit sieve used in the shipping system. Also disclosed are a spacer for use in a shipping system for shipping planar substrates, a wrapped system for shipping planar substrates, a method of wrapping a system for shipping planar substrates, and a powder applicator.

The rack is stackable with another rack, e.g., with the upper rack's rear sitting on the lower rack's arms, and with the upper rack's front supported by a support member extending upwardly from tubing provided in the lower rack that is accommodated in holes/recesses of the upper rack. The arms are sized, shaped, and arranged to reduce the likelihood of tipping of the upper rack, and the tabs help mitigate the effect of side-to-side movement of the upper rack relative to the lower rack.

Abstract: A system for easily refilling cutlery dispensers or other devices includes a stack of identical cutlery items maintained by a retaining structure that can be removable either before, during, or after installation, depending on the configuration of the dispenser. In a first aspect, the retaining structure includes nested cutlery handles and a single adhesive strip applied to one side of the stack. In a second aspect, the retaining structure includes separate adhesive strips applied to each side of the stack. In a third aspect, the retaining structure is a band extending entirely around the stack and equipped with a pull-tab for opening and removing the retaining structure. In all aspects a pull-tab or other graspable element can be provided to facilitate removal of the support structure. The stacked cutlery may also be loaded into a caddy or into a tray.

Abstract: Generally, the present disclosure relates to a carton for tissue products comprising a carton and an overwrapped compressed stack of tissues, such as facial tissues. The compressed carton can significantly reduce costs associated with shipping such low density products. The overwrapped compressed stack of tissues has a tear strip, which permits the compressed stack of tissues to expand, releasing the compression of the tissue stack and allowing the tissues to be dispensed normally.

A handle is mounted to the base. The rigidity of the flat articles in the width direction is used to form the free-standing package. The compression cord sleeve includes a tubular sleeve body and a handle. The tubular sleeve body compresses around the flexible elongated cord in order to prevent the flexible elongated cord from unraveling or uncoiling. The tubular sleeve body is manipulated around a coiled or wrapped flexible elongated cord such that the tubular sleeve body compresses the coiled or wrapped flexible elongated cord radially. The handle allows a user to grasp the compression cord sleeve for ease of transportation.

In certain example embodiments, a glass rack may include a metal base having a grooved bottom connected thereto and a metal upright support substantially parallel to the base. The upright support may include a plurality of fingers covered in a protective material (e.g., rubber tubing) that extend therefrom. The spaces between the fingers may correspond with grooves of the grooved bottom, thereby cooperating to accommodate a plurality of panels (e.g., assemblies prior to autoclaving, laminated glass panels formed by autoclaving, etc.). The grooved bottom may be connected to the base so as to allow for expansion and/or contraction of the metal base relative to the grooved bottom. The rack, as a whole, may be capable of withstanding the temperature and pressure conditions of an autoclave, while also providing sufficient protection for the panels during shipping.

A separate external packaging structure is provided with a height Hext being equal or larger than Hint. Forces acting upon the external packaging structure caused by e.g., collisions are not transferred to the stack of plates. The external packaging structure is assembled after the internal packaging structure.
