Abstract: A package and method for displaying shoelaces includes a backing member to which one end of the laces are attached by a strip of pressure sensitive adhesive. The laces are wrapped about the backing member and through an opening of a triangularly-shaped hanger to form a plurality of loops. A second strip of pressure sensitive adhesive is then wrapped about the loops and backing panel securing the looped laces to the hanger. A cover wrap is inserted through the hanger and folded over the upper portion of the looped laces, backing panel and base of the hanger. An informational panel is then wrapped about the cover wrap to secure the laces and backing member therein. The informational panel contains printed indicia pertaining to the shoelaces. A display rod is inserted through the hanger to suspend the packaged laces therefrom.

Abstract: An improved merchandise display system comprises a display tag, one or more product flaps each for attachment to an item of merchandises and a detachable fastener. The fastener comprises a screw and a nuts the screw having a post for threaded engagement with the nut. The head of the screw, and the nut, are wider than the aperture and the post is received in the aperture in the display tag. The product flap is detachably held between the nut and the front surface of the display tag with the post of the screw received in an opening in the flap such that the product may be removed from and reattached to the display tag by disassembling and reassembling the display tag, fastener and product flap. A second product flap may be detachably held between the screw head and the back surface of the display tag.

The present invention contains a plurality of square or rectangular compartments which are provided with hooks, posts or curtain walls so that the device can easily hold earrings, either pierced or clip on style, bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. In such a manner, a highly secure jewelry organizing and storage system is shown.

The anti-theft mechanism includes a first member having a receiving space, a protruding limit post, a plurality of snapping hooks and a first toothed portion, and a second member having a seat portion, a second toothed portion, a catch flange and a mounting stud. Thus, the ratchet wrench is locked by and cannot be detached from the anti-theft mechanism of the hanging device so as to provide an anti-theft function.

Abstract: A combination package for both an ingestible product, such as a medication, and a beverage, such as water, is of a unitary, single-use design. The medication and the beverage, of which only a small amount is provided, can be stored in separate sealed cavities defined by the package. The combination package can be designed so as to be easily and conveniently hung from a display rack in a store. A consumer can open the package to gain access to each cavity and can then orally consume the medication and then wash it down with the beverage.

The system includes a support panel, a wristwatch and an accessory, the accessory being capable of augmenting the appearance and enjoyment of the watch. The support panel has a front surface that defines several display locations. A first display location releasably supports a wristwatch in a manner such that a wristband associated with the wristwatch is maintained in a supine position. A second display location releasably supports an accessory, the accessory being adapted and configured to be releasably mounted on a wristband. The front surface also defines indicia for aligning the wristwatch to the first display location and for aligning the accessory to the second display location.

In one embodiment, the inner tray is adapted to hold the article in the container in an orientation within the deformable sleeve with a portion of the article extending from the inner tray and at a position adjacent an opening in the deformable sleeve through which the article may be removed. In another embodiment, the inner tray includes at least one button adapted to be received in a corresponding aperture in the deformable sleeve. The at least one button and aperture cooperate to resist disengagement between the inner tray and the deformable sleeve by stress placed on the sleeve, and the inner tray is adapted to hold the article in the container in an orientation within the deformable sleeve.

The positioner is moveable from the pin hole configured for a component to another pin hole to reconfigure the insert for another component.

In an embodiment specifically adapted as a system for packaging vehicular radiators, the invention provides a generally planar tray member component as a blank having two opposed sides, with a portion of each opposed side being foldable out of the plane of the tray member to yield arms to the tray. Strapping is supplied which is engageable with the arms when the arms are folded upon the radiator placed upon the tray member. Opposed ends for the tray member have a portion which is likewise foldable out of the plane of the tray member, yielding legs to the tray when so folded. The packaging system can include at least one stand-off element mountable on one of the radiator and the tray member operating as a spacer and positioner relative to a container within which the tray member is received with the stand-off element mounted in place.

Abstract: A yarn palette is disclosed having a flexible panel with numerous cord locks attached at one end of the panel and extending downwardly therefrom. Each cord lock includes a loop that is adjustable to support any number of skeins provided therein. The yarn palette is used to organize and store a variety of yarns, wherein each cord lock is provided with a particular shade of yarn. The flexible panel can be rolled up into a compact state to facilitate carrying and storage. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the inside surface of the panel is black to facilitate visual differentiation of similar yarn shades. The panel can also be provided with compartments and pockets for storing notions, tools, specialty yarns or other items.

Abstract: A multiple-layer pad including an upper, middle and bottom layer for mounting any of a variety of ornamental articles is provided. The middle layer includes a plurality of mounting holes disposed therethrough which provide a user with a number of predetermined points through which to mount the ornamental article. The holes provide flexibility to the user by allowing the user to mount different types of ornamental articles on different locations on the pad, and to use a variety of mounting techniques. The upper layer of the pad provides an attractive display surface and is preferably wrapped around the edges of the middle layer and secured to the back of the middle layer in order to hold the two layers together. The bottom layer provides a finished backing for the pad and preferably includes a plurality of holes which are aligned with the holes in the middle layer so that the user can easily identify the position of the middle layer mounting holes during use.

Abstract: A method for storing elastic bands makes use of an annular storage device, larger in diameter than the unstretched length of the elastic bands to be stored. The device has a series of clogs around its circumference, thereby creating a recessed area between each pair of adjacent clogs. The elastic bands to be stored are sequentially applied to the device, each elastic band being stretched between diametrically opposed recesses, thereby spanning the center. The elastic bands are then later removed in reverse order, as needed.

Abstract: The invented apparatus includes a wallet-like foldable member and a receptacle for storage of smoking material. The apparatus can also include a holder attached to the foldable member. One or more smoking accessories such as a pipe and a poker can be removably secured in the apparatus by the holder. In its folded configuration, the member stores the receptacle and any stored smoking accessory in a relatively compact configuration that can readily fit in a shirt or pants pocket for convenient carrying. When unfolded into its opened position, the member exposes the stored receptacle and smoking accessory(ies) so that such items can be selectively removed for use. The invented system includes the apparatus's member and receptacle, and in addition, includes at least one smoking accessory such as the pipe and poker. The system thus constitutes a smoking kit capable of holding substantially all smoking necessities.

Abstract: A Christmas light storage system having a container with a lid, a plurality of racks, and a tower. The tower attaches to the container to provide a stable base, and individual racks attach to the tower to allow a strand of lights stored on the rack to be removed. The racks may be oscillating or compartmentalized racks, with the oscillating racks holding at least one strand of lights on each of the two sides of the rack. When removing the lights from the oscillating rack, one end of a strand of lights is pulled and the rack osculates or rocks back and forth to release the lights. The compartmentalized racks include individual compartments for each light bulb on a strand of lights. The compartmentalized rack may be attached to the tower so that an end of a strand of lights may be pulled to remove the entire strand from the rack. Both the oscillating and the compartmentalized racks include means for securing and separating the racks when stored in the container.

The head comprises a scrubbing portion and a backing portion. The backing portion has a pair of laterally spaced internally concave curved depending wings and a connecting plate. The wings and connecting plate are adapted to slide over the handle central web and curved sidewalls and be retained by and between the stops and the tang.

Abstract: A packaging device formed of substantially rigid material, comprising a container, such as a cardboard carton, with a sheet of substantially rigid material, such as cardboard, fastened inside some distance above the bottom, with a perforation through the sheet, in which an article of goods to be packaged is wrapped inside of a flexible membrane, such as a plastic bag, with the free ends of the membrane drawn downwards through the perforation and pulled tightly and wrapped around at least one edge of the sheet and fastened with a staple through the membrane and the sheet of substantially rigid material which causes the goods to be held tightly against the sheet in the proximity of the perforation to protect the goods against damage due to rough handling of the container.

The first header portion laterally extends beyond the first and second spaced apart edges of the first elongated portion.

Abstract: A packaging system for displaying articles such as wallets in a manner such that the wallets are readily accessible to shoppers, but are relatively difficult to shoplift. The packaging system comprises three main elements: a box, a box insert, and an attachment mechanism which secures the article to the box insert. The box insert is then adhesively attached to the box. In a first embodiment, the article is secured to the box insert using a filament loop. In a second embodiment, the article is attached to the box insert using a flat loop.

Alignment flanges and tabs, associated with at least one of the slug and slug holder, align the slug with the slug holder. Two-sided adhesive tape is provided for attaching the body of the slug to the body of the slug holder.

Abstract: An article packaging kit, system and method which system includes a flat, corrugated, cardboard sheet material having a central horizontal fold line and two vertical fold lines to define a base and two end portion. The system includes a flexible plastic sleeve or tube which loosely fits about a portion of the base of the sheet material in the flat condition. The sheet material moves between a horizontal line folded position when an article to be packaged is inserted within the sleeve and a flat, article hugging, immobilizing position when the end portions are folded upwardly causing the base portion to become flat. The system includes optionally inserting the immobilized article on the folded sheet material into a packaging or shipping container.
