Patent number: 8727206Abstract: A cup made of paper material having a fillable interior is provided. The cup is formed by a conical sleeve and a bottom. The bottom is attached to the sleeve at the lower end of the interior with a bottom skirt in an essentially liquid-tight way. The sleeve and/or the bottom in the area of the bottom skirt and/or the bottom skirt itself includes, at least in one area along the periphery, an outwardly projecting widening. A lower edge of the widening forms a standing surface for the cup. The widening can form a structure for holding another cup of the same type, which structure can act together with a similar cup during stacking. The cup can include a heat-insulting outer sleeve.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2009Date of Patent: May 20, 2014Assignee: PTM Packaging Tools Machinery Pte. Patent number: 8720688Abstract: A stacking crate for bottles has a plurality of tapered pylons extending upward from a periphery of a floor. A rib extends downwardly in the interior of a cavity in each pylon. Each pylon further includes a slot in an upper surface of the pylon substantially aligned with the rib. When similar crates are nested, the ribs in the pylons of one crate will rest in the slots in the upper surface of the pylons of the lower crate, thus permitting the crates to be nested.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2005Date of Patent: May 13, 2014Assignee: Rehrig Pacific CompanyInventors: Jon P. Publication number: 20140027336Abstract: The invention relates to a modular receptacle formed by a plurality of axially-nestable necked containers. The neck of the containers includes a flange which cooperates with a recessed tubular chamber provided in the base of the containers. The flange is housed in the chamber, such that it is free to move radially, but bears axially against a shoulder in one direction. Bosses are provided on a flared section that extends from the neck and said bosses are received in cavities located in a flared pocket that extends from the above-mentioned chamber. The bosses and cavities form members that provide axial and radial stabilisation for the nesting arrangement formed when the flange bears against the shoulder and they include inclined lateral-pressure-bearing ramps used to separate two assembled containers.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2012Publication date: January 30, 2014Applicant: BTC ConceptInventors: Mohammed Bou Mezrag, Yann-Loig Bassing

Patent number: 8636169Abstract: A tote having both a caddy and a removable mini caddy is disclosed. The removable mini caddy attaches to the caddy with a series of guide walls and guide rails that allow the removable mini caddy to be cooperatively received by the caddy. The handle of the removable mini caddy nests with the handle of the caddy while they are attached, providing the user with a single handled tote that is easy to transport and use while still having the convenience of an extra tote where objects can be temporarily removed and then replaced without the need for transferring the objects from one tote to another. The removable mini caddy may be easily removed and then replaced within the caddy while remaining securely in place during use and transport.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2012Date of Patent: January 28, 2014Assignee: Casabella Holdings, LLCInventor: Andre Sampaio

Patent number: 8631940Abstract: A unitary plastic container, which is optionally used for waste collection comprises a base, a front wall, a back wall and two opposing side walls, each wall extending upwardly from the base to define an open container top and an interior container volume. Each side wall has an outwardly extending sidewall portion which is outwardly offset relative to the rest of the container side wall. In each outwardly extending sidewall portion, an elongated cutout, indentation or channel is present. The elongated channel has a forward opening, a rearward opening and an elongated side opening extending from the forward opening to the rearward opening. The elongated channel lies within the interior container volume and divides the outwardly extending sidewall portion into two areas: an upper outwardly extending sidewall portion and a lower outwardly extending portion.
