The edge protector includes first and second legs and a cover layer that extends over the outer surface of both of the first and second legs. An attachment portion of the cover layer extends over the outer edge of each leg and is retained along an inner surface of the leg on a release liner. During use, the attachment portions are both released from the release liner on the inner surface of the first and second legs such that an adhesive on the attachment portion can be used to attach the edge protector to a package or product.

The top insert contacts a top surface of the hot water heater and a top inside surface of outer box. The base insert contacts the bottom surface of the hot water heater and a bottom inside surface of the outer box. The base insert includes raised perimeter structures that form a shape that matches a shape of the bottom surface of the hot water heater. The raised perimeter structures and the offset filler position the hot water heater off-center with respect to a center axis of the outer box. Each side panel includes a raised pattern.

Abstract: Packaging may include cushioning components. Cardboard corrugate cushioning elements may be configured with a folded cardboard spring, lateral stability wrap, and stiffening element. The cushioning components may include mechanical bends formed as creases, that provide resistance to deformation, thereby allowing the cushioning component to absorb impact and vibration, and replacing the need for less environmentally friendly cushioning, such as expanded polystyrene or foam cushioning.

The corner structure includes a first region, a second region, a first fold line, a third region, a second fold line, and a fourth region. The first region has a slit, and one of the corners of the baseboard is inserted into the slit. Abstract: Provided is an insulation liner for use inside a shipping carton that affords thermal insulation and shock absorption for an object to be shipped, a liner and carton system, a method of production of the insulation liner, and methods of use. The insulation liner includes a larger component folded into three panels, a smaller component folded into three panels, and standoffs disposed on the surfaces of both the larger component and the smaller component. The standoffs may be oriented inwardly or outwardly. When oriented outwardly they create an interstitial air space that reduces conduction allowing the insulation effect of the liner and carton system to equal or exceed that of a molded polystyrene container of an equal size.

Each of the retention frames includes a retention panel, an end panel (104, 106) foldably coupled to the retention panel, a set of wing panels configured to be folded into a folded configuration, and a sheet (208, 308) fixedly coupled to each of the wing panels. Each end retention frame retains a lateral side of the object between the sheet and the retention panel when the wing panels are in the folded configuration. In some cases, the end retention frames are laterally spaced away from each other such that they do not contact each other when they retain the lateral sides of the object.

The package box includes a lower case and an upper case mating the lower case. The cushioning bodies are airbag cushioning bodies arranged inside the lower case at locations corresponding to corners of a liquid crystal glass panel. The liquid crystal glass panel packaging structure uses airbag cushioning bodies to serve as cushioning devices for a liquid crystal glass panel, whereby with the airbag cushioning bodies being arranged at locations corresponding to corners of the liquid crystal glass panel, better protection is provided to the liquid crystal glass panel to prevent the product from being damaged by external forces. Further, the cushioning bodies of the present invention have a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, and can effectively lower down the manufacturing cost.
