Abstract: A conduit with a collapsible portion, and a nasal interface for providing a flow of gases to a user, is described. The interface comprises a manifold and at least one nasal prong or an outlet extending from the manifold to be received by a user's nare. A side member extends from each side of the manifold, each side member comprising a collapsible portion comprising a lumen. In an open configuration the lumen remains open and in a closed configuration the collapsible portion is pinched or flattened to occlude or substantially occlude the lumen. At least one of the side members is a conduit for a flow of gases from an inlet of the patient interface to the manifold.

Abstract: A corrugated paper display moveable from a stowed condition to a display condition is described herein. The display has a first rectangular sleeve having opposed lateral edges, a front edge, and a back edge. Two side panels one of each are attached respectively to one of each of the two opposed lateral edges. A back wall is connected to the back edge and the two side panels. A rectangular display compartment extends between the opposed side walls and a shelf is positioned in the rectangular display compartment. A front panel is hingedly connected to the first sleeve and rests on top of the first sleeve when in the stowed condition. When in the deployed condition, the front panel extends from the first sleeve to form a body of a second height which is 1.5 to 2.5 times greater than the first height.

Abstract: This invention relates to a kit and methods adapted for use in a vehicle glove compartment box, which provides assistance in various vehicular scenarios related to traffic tickets, DWIs, car wrecks, avoiding repossessions, and using lemon laws. The kit includes a container, camera, and booklet and is small enough to fit conveniently inside a vehicle glove box. The booklet contains sequential step-by-step instructions to assist the user with the vehicular scenarios and is written in a simple and easy-to-read format that does not require a legal dictionary to decipher. In simpler terms, the present invention provides common sense tips to help protect one's legal rights.

Abstract: A container for use in processing a biopsy sample. Biopsy sample and materials are received within a sample processing area of the container. A semi-permeable barrier is positioned at a downstream portion of the sample processing area and prevents the prevent passage of the biopsy sample. A cap is positioned at the downstream side of the barrier, and holds fluids within the container.

Abstract: A product container assembly includes a first product enclosure, a cover panel, and a product overlay. The first product enclosure is adapted to house a first product component and includes a support panel, a first side panel, a back panel extending from the first side panel, and a second side panel extending from the back panel, the second side panel being secured to the support panel. The cover panel extends from the second side panel and is hingedly secured to the first product enclosure such that the cover panel is folded over the support panel, the cover panel having a bubble window. The product overlay includes a base portion secured between the support panel and the cover panel and a bubble portion projecting through the bubble window. The bubble portion is adapted to house a second product component separately from the first product component and to allow viewing of the second product component through the bubble portion.

The packaging system includes a container and a consumer message label attached to the container. Abstract: A rack for holding specimen slides. The rack has a frame with opposed support bars having opposed openings for supporting opposite ends of the specimen slides. The support bars have edges connected to sides of the frame, so that the support bars are resiliently deflectable with respect to the frame. The rack of specimen slides is containable in a slide case for purposes of transportation. The slide case has a base with a first latch portion, and the rack has a second latch portion. As the rack is positioned adjacent the base, the first and second latch portions are placed in juxtaposition to releasably secure the rack in the base. A cover is positionable over the base such that the base and cover fully enclose the rack of specimen slides. As the cover is closed over the base, the cover pushes the specimen slides against the opposed support bars, thereby deflecting the support bars and securing the specimen slides in the slide case.

Abstract: An earplug distribution assembly is provided including an outer portion including four outer side panels, a top panel, and a bottom panel connected to form a box, an inner portion received at an interior of the box, the inner portion delimiting a plurality of chambers in the box, and earplugs stored in the chambers, one of the outer side panels including openings corresponding to each of the plurality of chambers thus allowing a user to access the earplugs in the chambers, each chamber including a distinct type of the earplugs.

Abstract: A package that securely holds hair, displays it, and is easy to manufacture, assemble, and transport. This package is made of two parts: a shell and an insert. The shell is shaped like a rectangular prism with the bottom side remaining open. The insert is also a rectangular prism and can be slid inside the shell from the shell's open bottom side. The shell and the insert have corresponding pleats which allow the shell and the insert to be compressed flat together. The insert holds the hair swatch and displays it through an open front side. The shell has at least one cut-out window on its front side, which can be covered with a clear sheet. The window(s) on the shell corresponds with the open side on the insert, so that the hair swatch in the insert can be seen. The insert has a hook on its top side, which protrudes from a hold in the top of the shell when the insert is in the shell.

Abstract: Reclosable bags, plastic film for making the bags, and a method and apparatus for making the bags are disclosed. The bag has a reclosable fastener (26) connected to a single wall of the bag, and the film (55) has a reclosable fastener (26) connected to one side thereof which does not require attachment to any other portion of the film (55) when making a bag. The fastener (26) has a tamper-proof member attached thereto to indicate if the bag has been previously opened. The film (55) can be wound into a roll (54) suitable for use on conventional bag making machines including form, fill, and seal machines or a chain of coilable reclosable bags can be produced therefrom since the fasteners (26) are connected to the web preferably transversely to the bags longitudinal formation axis.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite form and a method of printing the form. The composite form has a paper component and a flexible magnetic sheet component that are adhered to one another. The magnetic component is able to adhere to a ferromagnetic surface but does not adhere to other composite forms having a magnetic component through use of a shielding layer when the forms are provided in a stacked configuration for feeding into a printer. The composite form may be fed through a printer without jamming or magnetic attraction to components within the printer. The composite form is constructed to facilitate printing by having a single thickness entering the printer with a small area of overlap between the paper component and magnetic sheet component or the magnetic component may be inlaid into an opening in the paper component.

Abstract: A combination of a container and an elongate member in which a side panel of the container is provided with a plurality of lines of weakness. The plurality of lines of weakness can be bent into braces or a brace and a pocket. The combination of the brace and pocket can support and hold the elongate member relative to the container. The elongate member can easily be removed from the container with one hand.

Abstract: A fragrance sample is provided which is made from two plies of material. A wall is formed in the bottom ply which defines a well into which a fragrance sample is deposited. The top ply has a wall formed therein which interlocks with the bottom ply wall to cover and close the well. The two plies are then adhered together to form a liquid tight seal between the two plies.

Abstract: A carpet sample book is provided which is constructed from a single sheet of material, such as cardboard. Tab and slot fasteners are used to avoid the need of adhesives. The samples are supported in the facing pages of the book by slots which are cut into the cardboard surface. The slots are cut in a “C” shape which allows the samples to be held at an angle.

Abstract: A portable device for displaying dispensing card-like members includes a generally rectangular box having a display storage cavity formed adjacent its forward wall for supporting card-like member in a vertical position for visible display. A main storage cavity is provided for storing a reserve supply of additional card-like members in a vertical position from which they may be easily dispensed. A support plate is removably attachable to the rear surface of the box, and the support plate in turn may be securely attached to a vertical support surface.

Abstract: A carpet sample book is constructed from a single sheet of cardboard or other suitable material. The sheet is creased to define a number of panels. The sheet may be folded over itself to make the panels several layers thick. Cutouts are made through some or all of the layers to holding carpet samples. The creases act like hinges which allow the panels to be folded over each other so that the entire assembly can be folded into a compact book.

Abstract: A display package for point-of-purchase display of an article such as a musical instrument having a percussion surface and a sounding aperture. The package has a top panel and a bottom panel, each of the top and bottom panels having openings, one for allowing consumer access to the percussion surface and the second for permitting emission of sound from the sounding aperture of the instrument. A collar shelf is coupled to the rear panel and disposed in a plane substantially parallel to the top panel for preventing motion of the instrument in any direction having a component tangential to the top panel.

Abstract: A package for small parts having a first shipping and/or storage position, a second display position, and a third service position. The package has an areal support which is divided into four section by a transversely extending hinge connection and a longitudinally extending hinge connection. In the first position, the right and left portions of the package are folded over on one another to form a package enclosing the parts. In the second position the areal support is laid open in substantially the same plane where the parts are visible but cannot readily be removed from the package. In the third position, the package is folded back on itself along the longitudinal axis to provide access to the parts.
