The product platform can be coupled to the container portion and configured to pivot between a first position in which the product platform is received within the container portion and a second position in which the product platform is inclined at least partially out of the container portion. The cover is configured to engage the product platform such that when the cover is pivoted from the closed position to the open position in a first direction, motion of the cover pivots the product platform in a second direction from the first position to the second position such that the product platform is inclined at least partially out of the container portion.

Abstract: The invention discloses a system comprising at least one package for one or more candy bars or other similar products, and a holder for said package comprising at least one flap for engaging the package in a holding position. A holder comprising a flat surface, at least one flap for engaging a packaged product in a holding position, and at least one flap for supporting a tubular envelope of the packaged product in the holding position, and a method for holding together for transport, storage and/or displaying at a retail outlet are also disclosed.

Abstract: Display device including a unitary, rigid sheet defining a left center panel, a right center panel pivotally connected to the left center panels, a left side panel pivotally connected to the left center panel and a right side panel pivotally connected to the right center panel. Vertically extending separation lines are formed on a rear planar layer without penetrating or cutting a front planar layer so that the panels are able to pivot about vertical axes. Fold lines may be formed opposite the separation lines on the front planar layer to facilitate folding the sheet whereby the fold lines define the vertical axes about which the panels pivot. Folding of the sheet provides a compact configuration which enables the display device to be easily carried.

A multi-tray assembly for retaining a plurality of discs within the container, the multi-tray assembly comprising two connectors and two trays for retaining and holding discs, each connector comprising a container-engaging member for engaging to the attachment means on the spine of the container and two holding means for rotatably holding a respective tray, so that each tray can be rotated about the holding means of the connectors to allow access to the discs retained by the trays when the container is in a container open position.

Abstract: A rectilinear folded and glued container with tiered shelves has multiple shelf panels cut out of a front panel with which the shelf panels, and main container front, side and back panels are integrally connected. The container has an internally placed shelf-raising panel that is attached to the shelf panels as part of a fold and glue processing technique that produces a knocked down flat container to be erected. The shelf raising panel preferably is an integral panel that is separate from the main container panels so as to be relatively movable, and is affixed to the shelf panels. Displacing or translating the shelf-raising panel during erection of the container from its knocked-down-flat configuration articulates the shelves into position. The shelf raising panel can be captured between top and bottom ends of the erected container, thus fixing the erected container and articulated shelves in a rigid shape.

Abstract: A portable multipurpose tackle box with a compartment for storing tackle, bait, and other fishing related items, and a separate cooler compartment for storing food, beverages, and bait. The top compartment can be opened to reveal several extendable tackle tray assemblies. The exterior surface of the top of the tackle box has a folding leg attached to it which can be used to support the tackle box when the tray assemblies are in an extended position. The top exterior surface also has a clip attached to it for holding a flashlight in position for the night fisherman. The handle, support leg, and clips connected to the top exterior surface pivot to a storage position which is flush with the surface to enable the top surface of the tackle box to be used comfortably as a seat.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a packaging, storage and display system for articles, such as small tools, like drill bits and the like. An index for holding the articles is pivotably mounted in a case. A rack, which may be selected from a variety of rack structures, is mounted within the index, for holding articles having particular sizes and shapes. A frame structure is resistively pivotably mounted on the index, so that the frame structure may be pivoted to a particular position relative to the index, and will tend to remain in that position, until a force in excess of a particular amount is exerted on the frame structure. The index and/or the frame structures may be interchangeably mounted.

Abstract: A toolbox for displaying and storage tool heads consists of a box (10), a lid (20) pivotally connected the box (10), multiple storage racks (30) rotatably mounted inside the box (10) and a gang bar (40) engaging the storage racks (30). The multiple storage racks (30) are tilted by the gang bar (40) in unison to allow tool heads out to be removed from the toolbox conveniently. Additionally, the lid (20) can be pivoted to a back position of the box (10) to serve as a stand so the toolbox can display the tool heads.

Abstract: A display case, carry case and storage stand for a plurality of elongated tools, such as screwdrivers, which comprises a pair of units which are pivotally connected together. Each unit has an exterior arcuate surface on which is to be mounted a plurality of the elongated tools in a spaced apart arrangement. The units are to be pivotable from an aligned position to a side-by-side position, and when in the side-by-side position the display case becomes a storage stand. When the display case is in the aligned position, it can function as a carry case.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a container positionable between a storage position and a display position is provided comprised of a rectangular display panel having a planar display side for mounting an article to be displayed. The display panel maintains upper and lower edges as well as first and second side edges. An upper rectangular panel is also provided which has upper and lower edges and first and second side edges, where the lower edge is hingedly connected to the upper edge of the display panel.

Abstract: A tool box includes a base having a plurality of receiving members pivotally connected between two side walls of the base and each of the receiving members has a shaft. A gear is connected to an end of each of the shafts and a rack is movably connected to the base. The gears are rotatably engaged with the rack. A cover is pivotally connected to the base by a pivot axle and a driving gear is connected to the pivot axle and engaged with the rack so that when opening the cover, the receiving members are pivoted and the bits in the receiving members are pivoted toward the users.

Abstract: A tool container, such as a toolbox or gift case, has at least one pivotable component holder pivotally mounted therein for pivoting movement between a storage position and an access position. The pivotable component holders are biased towards the access position when the lid is open. The tool container brings an element directly or indirectly into contact with at least one of the pivotable component holders to rotate it to the storage position when the lid closes, with no direct connection between the lid and the pivotable component holders. Where there are multiple pivotable component holders, they may be ganged together, for example via a gang bar. Instead of rotation of the pivotable component holders being triggered by lid closure, such rotation could be triggered by removal or storage of the tool for which the components are intended. Pivotable holder components may be manipulated manually between storage and access positions when the lid is open and movement may be independent of the lids position.

Abstract: A stackable series of interconnected boxes of equal size die cut from a single cardboard blank. When assembled, the boxes are oriented in a stack so that the lid of each box faces upwardly. Access to each succeeding box is provided by the alternate hinging of successive boxes on opposite sides of the vertical stack. Each preceding box is rotated to the side to expose the lid of the next succeeding box in the stack.

Abstract: A sterilizable medical implant package insert that provides enhanced protection of the implant during shipment and easier access of the implant at its destination. The sterile implant package insert is placed within standard sterile implant packages and provides for the automatic presentation of the implant from the insert when the sterile package top is opened. The insert also provides increased protection of the implants during shipping and operating room manipulation by securely holding the implant, thus preventing damage from collisions between the implant and the container walls and by providing double wall containment.

Abstract: A convertible container having two panels hingedly connected to one another along single edges. Recessed interior walls permit the storage of items therein when the panels are closed. A raised ridge along three outer sides of the panels allows an item to be supported and framed within the exterior panels when the container is open and converted to a double length framed area. Various locks keep the panels closed, interior baffles keep items in place when the container is closed and hook devices permit the container to be displayed.

Abstract: In order to enhance the desirability of packaging for products, and particularly the packaging for portable cellular telephones, a unique and improved product package is disclosed. The package includes a compartment for receiving the product which is defined at least in part by a side wall and a bottom wall. The compartment has a recess generally conforming in shape to the shape of the product. The package also includes a lid overlying the compartment to normally restrict access to the product during shipment and sale thereof. The lid is movable from a closed compartment position to an open compartment position by a purchaser of the product. The package includes a spring for elevating at least a portion of the product from the recess in the compartment. The spring operates when the lid has been moved from the closed compartment position to the open compartment position. The package thus enhances the visibility of the product in the compartment to the purchaser thereof.

Abstract: A package for small parts having a first shipping and/or storage position, a second display position, and a third service position. The package has an areal support which is divided into four section by a transversely extending hinge connection and a longitudinally extending hinge connection. In the first position, the right and left portions of the package are folded over on one another to form a package enclosing the parts. In the second position the areal support is laid open in substantially the same plane where the parts are visible but cannot readily be removed from the package. In the third position, the package is folded back on itself along the longitudinal axis to provide access to the parts.
