Abstract: A tool rack structure includes a first body, and a second body pivotally connected with the first body and rotatable relative to the first body. The first body has an end provided with at least one first pivot portion. The at least one first pivot portion is provided with two first locking portions, a second locking portion, and a third locking portion. The second body is provided with at least one third pivot portion pivotally connected with the at least one first pivot portion. The at least one third pivot portion is provided with two fourth locking portions locked onto the two first locking portions, and a fifth locking portion locked onto the third locking portion.

Abstract: A product package is presented that has a sliding tray disposed within a sleeve. Both the sleeve and the tray have a tab on their top portions through which is positioned a hang-hole. The hang-holes in these two tabs align when the tray is inserted into the sleeve, allowing a display hanger to pass through the hole in both tabs. The tray also has a structure with an overhang portion that extends beyond a side wall of the tray. The overhang portion is positioned to abut the edge of the sleeve when the tray is fully inserted into the sleeve to prevent the tray from passing too far into, or even through the sleeve.

Abstract: A transaction card holder for holding a transaction card, such as a gift card, on or within a functional insert that may be withdrawn from an enclosing main body of the holder. In certain embodiments, the insert is shaped and provided with indicia to appear and function as a measuring tape, and the main body of the holder is shaped and decorated to appear as a tape measure housing.

Abstract: An economical package comprising an inner sliding piece assembled inside of one or more outer sleeves, where the inner sliding piece may contain a gift card, loyalty card, product, or promotional messages, and the card, product or messages can be revealed by pulling the inner sliding piece at least partially out of the outer sleeve. The package assembly can provide differentiation, protection, consumer information, and an ability to reuse the package for presentation of the card or information.

Abstract: A sliding lock mechanism that utilizes a binding bar to prevent movement of a sliding member on a slide rail in at least one direction. A spring mechanism exerts a biasing force on the binding bar to maintain the locked position. The binding bar can be moved to an unlocking position by overcoming the bias of the spring. This then allows movement of the sliding member in two directions on the slide rail. An actuating rod moves the binding bar between the first and second positions. The mechanism can be added to a stowing mechanism for a laptop or other device that can secure different devices with varying widths within a compartment due to a drive spring mechanism. The addition of the locking mechanism allows for greater security of the laptop during periods of vibration and prevents backdriving of the spring mechanism.

Abstract: An extendable display package shipping system including a display package having a slide wall able to be lowered for shipping and raised for display, a product mounted to the slide wall in the display package and able to move between a collapsed position when the slide wall is lowered and a display position when the slide is raised. Two display packages, with slide walls lowered, are placed in a shipping carton and an insert is placed over the display packages in the carton. Each slide wall includes a hand opening and the insert includes aligned hand openings. When the display packages reach a point of sale and are removed from the shipping carton, the hand openings of the slide walls and the insert are able to be gripped simultaneously, and when lifted, the slide walls first extend themselves and then the packages, already in display configurations, are removed from the carton, all in one continuous act.

Abstract: A packaged collectible display assembly displays a packaged collectible. The packaged collectible display assembly includes a board assembly and a display base. The board assembly includes a backer board, at least one pair of laterally opposed J-channel structures, and a ledge structure or element. The J-channel structures are attached to the laterally opposed portions of the backer board such as laterally opposed board edges such that channels of the J-channel structures face one another. The ledge structure is attached to the backer board adjacent the lower board end such that the ledge length extends across the board width and abuts the lower channel ends, the ledge structure and J-channel structures for supporting at least one channel-received packaged collectible. The lower board end may be preferably received in groove formed in the display base for enhancing the display of each channel-received packaged collectible.

Abstract: Embodiments provide packaging systems and methods that may be easy to open, have a measure of theft deterrence, may be manufactured from a minimum number of materials, and/or are relatively easy to recycle. One packaging/display system includes multiple package elements in an upright orientation between side walls of a support tray, without edges of the package elements extending into the side walls for support. In some cases a support tray includes multiple support tabs located along at least one side wall to engage a front and/or back surface of a package element in a supporting configuration. Support tabs may optionally be spaced along side wall inner surfaces in an alternating configuration. An optional removable cover may be configured to fit about package elements within a support tray to provide an integrated packaging assembly for transport. Methods for packing and displaying products are also provided.

Abstract: A pitcher includes a container body defining a liquid storage cavity therein and having an open end and a cover removably coupled to the container body. The cover extends along the open end, and the cover defining a fill opening configured to receive a liquid therein. The fill opening is in communication with the liquid storage cavity. The pitcher also includes a lid assembly having a lid closing access to the fill opening. A slide mechanism is coupled to the lid, and the slide mechanism is slidably coupled to the cover.

Abstract: A toy vehicle package includes a planar backing board upon which an elongated hollow closed-end tube is supported in a spaced arrangement on the board. A slider extends beneath the center tube and supports capsules on either side of the center tube. Magnetic toy vehicles are captivated in both capsules while a third magnetic toy vehicle is movable within the center tube between the closed ends.

Abstract: A merchandise display is capable of being shipped in a compact package of limited longitudinal length complete with merchandise items pre-loaded in place, and selectively expanded for displaying the merchandise items at a point-of-purchase location wherein there is a shelf which makes available at the point-of-purchase location a predetermined longitudinal shelf length exceeding considerably the limited longitudinal length of the compact package. The merchandise display includes a case and at least one display tray for carrying merchandise items arranged for display and dispensing at the point-of-purchase location. The display tray is coupled with the case for telescoping movement into and out of the case between a retracted position telescoped within the case such that merchandise items carried by the display tray are housed within the case, and an advanced position extended longitudinally out of the case for displaying the merchandise items at the point-of-purchase location.

Abstract: A thin generally rectangular package for containing a farinaceous product such as dry mixes, cereals and the like including a portion that is removable from the carton with out opening or destroying the integrity of the package. The removable portion is contained on a slide that is sandwiched between a flat side of the carton and a panel fixed to the flat side. The slide is tethered to the flat side by a portion of the panel arranged to buckle outward from the plane of the flat side when the slide is pulled from between the flat side and the panel.

Abstract: A device which is capable of selectively containing or displaying an article. The article container and display device of the present invention may include a case/stand having first and second case units for removable attachment to each other and containing a display frame which holds the article. The case/stand defines a container configuration when the display frame is contained in the case units and the first case unit removably engages the second case unit. Alternatively, the case/stand defines a display stand configuration when the first case unit and the second case unit are placed in adjacent, semi-facing relationship to each other and the display frame is supported by the case units. A latch mechanism may be provided on one or both of the case units for removably engaging the other case unit.

Abstract: A tray-shaped shipping and display container has a support surface for supporting items for display. A pusher member is mounted for sliding movement on the support surface, and is elastically biased in a forward direction so that it continually urges items forward in the container to replace items removed from the front of the container by customers.

Abstract: A combination including a toy and a removable element inserted therein includes the toy having a generator and an actuator therewith. The actuator enables the generator to generate a sound or movement. An improvement of this combination includes the removable element being operably connected to the generator such that the removable element enables the generator to generate a first volume of the sound and removal of the removable element enables the sound generator to generate a second volume of the sound which is different from the first volume of the sound. Instead of or in addition to the removal of the removable element enabling the toy to generate a different volume of the sound, the removal of the removable element can enable the toy to emit a second duration of sound different from a first duration of sound and/or produce a second duration of a movement different from a first duration of a movement.

Abstract: A display carton for holding glassware, compact discs or the like that allows for full, simulated inspection of the article without opening the carton. To view and touch the article(s), the prospective purchaser has limited access through individual cutout opening in the front of the carton. Although a substantial portion of the article can be observed directly, the cutouts are limited in size to aid in protecting the article within the carton. To provide the full, simulated inspection of the article to the prospective purchaser, a silhouette of the peripheral outline of the article is printed around the cutout on the front surface of the carton. A slide-out tray may also be used to secure the articles within the carton. The tray includes a fold over cover, folded pop-in dividers and a tube with recesses for securing the articles. The slide-out tray allows the articles to be easily removed from the carton, inspected, and returned to the carton.

Abstract: A biological specimen cassette adapted to be installed with similarly constructed cassettes as a package in a cassette dispenser from which cassettes are thereafter dispensed individually comprises a channel formed in at least one of its walls to receive a connecting element, such as band, string or wire, which, when engaged to all cassettes, form a collective stacked arrangement of cassettes which is insertable into the cassette dispenser. Once received in the dispenser, the connecting element is then retrieved so that individual cassettes may be individually dispensed.

Abstract: A book-type carton for holding and displaying an article, the carton including a base carton and a tray. A cover flap selectively positionable between an open position and a closed position is hingedly connected to the base carton. The tray is slidably mounted in the base carton and is selectively positionable between an extended position and a retracted position. One of the tray and the cover flap has a closure tab forming a part thereof. The other of the tray and the cover flap has a slot forming a part thereof. The closure tab and the slot are relatively arranged and configured such that, when the tray is in the retracted position and the cover flap is in the closed position, the slot and the closure tab engage to releasably lock the cover flap in the closed position. A partition may be provided in the base carton to align the tray. A stop tab and limiter tab may extend from the tray to resist removal and overinsertion of the tray with respect to the base carton.

Abstract: A display package for a media item includes a base having opposing halves each formed of a pair of spaced apart upper and lower panels hingedly connected together along outer ends of the panels, the upper panels also being hingedly connected together along inner ends thereof. Central portions of the inner ends of the upper panels are spaced apart from each other to define an elongate slot therebetween. The display carrier also includes an upright body portion comprising a first body panel hingedly connected along a first edge thereof to an inner edge of a first one of the lower panels, and a second body panel hingedly connected to the first body panel along a second edge of the first body panel. The second body panel overlies the first body panel and is secured thereto to define a pocket adapted for reception therein of a graphic media item. The body panels extend upwardly through the slot and one of the first and second body panels has a window therein for viewing of the graphic media item.

Abstract: A socket displaying device includes a back plate with two grooves defined in two sides thereof and a stop extends from the first end of the back plate. A frame is slidably engaged with the two grooves of the back plate and has two side plates between which a plurality of chambers are defined so as to receive sockets therein. Each of the side plates has a flange extending toward the other side plate. The frame has a first end thereof so as to engage with the stop of the back plate when the frame is in its first position. An aperture is defined in the second end of the frame so that when the frame is pulled away from the back plate, the stop is engaged with the aperture so limit the frame from dropping from the back plate.

Abstract: A tool box assembly having a first surface with a first aperture therethrough for retaining a tool (such as a drill bit) having a longitudinal axis. A second surface is provided having a second aperture therethrough for retaining the tool. The first surface is retained relative to the second surface whereby the tool may translate along the longitudinal axis thereof through the first aperture in the first surface and the second aperture in the second surface when the first surface is in a first position relative to the second surface land be restrained against translation along the longitudinal axis thereof when the first surface is in a second position relative to the second surface.

Abstract: A book type carton for holding and displaying an article, the carton including a base carton and a tray. A cover flap selectively positionable between an open position and a closed position is hingedly connected to the base carton. The tray is slidably mounted in the base carton and is selectively positionable between an extended position and a retracted position. One of the tray and the cover flap has a closure tab forming a part thereof. The other of the tray and the cover flap has a slot forming a part thereof. The closure tab and the slot are relatively arranged and configured such that, when the tray is in the retracted position and the cover flap is in the closed position, the slot and the closure tab engage to releasably lock the cover flap in the closed position. A partition may be provided in the base carton to align the tray. A stop tab and limiter tab may extend from the tray to resist removal and overinsertion of the tray with respect to the base carton.

Abstract: This invention relates to an open topped box file which includes a rectangular base, side walls which are connected to the base, a hinge arrangement on the base which enables the side walls to be moved away from each other and bridge elements which extend between the ends of the side walls with the bridge elements being extensible to enable the side walls to be moved away from each other.
