Abstract: A tool container, such as a toolbox or gift case, has at least one pivotable component holder pivotally mounted therein for pivoting movement between a storage position and an access position. The pivotable component holders are biased towards the access position when the lid is open. The tool container brings an element directly or indirectly into contact with at least one of the pivotable component holders to rotate it to the storage position when the lid closes, with no direct connection between the lid and the pivotable component holders. Where there are multiple pivotable component holders, they may be ganged together, for example via a gang bar. Instead of rotation of the pivotable component holders being triggered by lid closure, such rotation could be triggered by removal or storage of the tool for which the components are intended. Pivotable holder components may be manipulated manually between storage and access positions when the lid is open and movement may be independent of the lids position.

Abstract: A tool holder for holding elongated tools, such as drill bits and the like. The tool holder includes a base member having upper and lower ends. A tool support member having upper and lower ends is pivotally mounted at its lower end to the base member. The upper end of the tool support element includes at least one opening which defines a tool retention channel. The opening is adapted to receive a base section of a tool. The tool holder further includes elastically deformably tool securing members secured to the tool support member proximate the tool retention channels. The tool securing member includes a base section which is affixed to the tool support element. The tool securing member includes a tool engaging face which securely engages a base section of a tool inserted into the tool retention channel.

Abstract: A tool box includes a receiving member and a receiver pivotally received in the receiving member, the receiver having a plurality of tubular recesses defined therein for receiving bits therein and two shafts respectively extending laterally from each one of two sides thereof, the receiving member having a hole and a slot defined in each one of two side walls thereof such that the receiver is received in the receiving member by rotatably inserting the shafts into the holes via the slots.

Abstract: A tool box including a tool box body defining a plurality of open chambers, and a plurality of tool bit holders mounted in the open chambers for holding elongated tool bits and accessories, wherein each open chamber has a first pivot at two opposite sides, a bottom wall formed of a front bottom wall section and a rear bottom wall section disposed at different elevations; each tool bit holder has a second pivot at two opposite sides respectively pivoted to the first pivot of one open chamber, a plurality of elongated slots disposed in parallel, a plurality of access holes formed in the front side and axially aligned with the elongated slots, two upright blocks bilaterally extending from the top side near two opposite ends of the front side.

Abstract: A sterilizable medical implant package insert that provides enhanced protection of the implant during shipment and easier access of the implant at its destination. The sterile implant package insert is placed within standard sterile implant packages and provides for the automatic presentation of the implant from the insert when the sterile package top is opened. The insert also provides increased protection of the implants during shipping and operating room manipulation by securely holding the implant, thus preventing damage from collisions between the implant and the container walls and by providing double wall containment.

Abstract: A tool organizer and deployment apparatus for various tools and accessories for tools. Rotatable flip indexes secure drill bits, power bits, sockets or other tool accessories and are conveniently stored in a tray and lid combination having a housing surface that removably secures the flip indexes. The housing also separately supports individual tools. The specific accessory, flip index or tool required may be grasped and removed from the tray for a specific task. The apparatus also utilizes a clear plastic cover to accommodate the display of the tools.
