Abstract: A life vest stowage device comprises a receptacle with a receptacle opening. The device has first and second tabs with first and second tab apertures. In a closed configuration, a closure flap is in a folded position in which it at least partially covers the opening. The first and second tabs are exposed through the closure flap to allow access to the tab apertures from an outer side of the closure flap. A pull strap extends from the interior volume through the opening and over the outer side of the closure flap. The pull strap has a pull strap aperture securable to the first and second tab apertures by a frangible seal, such that the closure flap can only be moved to an unfolded position by moving the pull strap aperture and the first and second tab apertures away from one another so as to break the frangible seal.

Abstract: A universal nail polish storage and display assembly includes a case having a base and a cover interconnected thereto, the cover having a display frame formed therethrough. A storage unit comprising a storage medium at least partially formed of a resilient material is mounted in the case. The storage medium includes a plurality of storage compartments each dimensioned to receive a different one of a plurality of nail polish containers therein. Each storage compartment has at least one slot disposed in communication therewith such that a portion of a nail polish container which may not fit into the storage compartment itself may be at least partially inserted into the slot such that the remainder of the container fits into the storage compartment. The assembly may be utilized to store and display a plurality of different nail polish containers in an upright operative orientation.

Abstract: An housing for a medical device includes an insert configured for removable insertion into the housing, outer dimensions of the insert conforming to inner dimensions of the housing to prevent movement thereof within the housing. The insert includes first and second planar walls connected to one another and having first and second openings extending therethrough. The first and second walls are movable between an open configuration in which the first and second walls are separated from one another and a closed configuration in which the first and second walls are folded to contact one another such that the first and second openings are aligned to define a medical device receiving cavity configured to house a medical device. In the closed configuration, the first and second walls apply a frictional clamping force to a packet containing the medical device to prevent movement of the medical device relative to the inlay.

Abstract: A display bin includes a tubular body and a multi-part bottom assembly. The tubular body includes an open base end and an open top end. The multi-part bottom assembly includes an annular structure having an inner edge, an outer edge and a plurality of evenly spaced wings projecting outwardly from the outer edge and terminating at distal ends. The annular structure is capable of being inserted through the open base end of the tubular body. A plurality of fasteners couple each of the plurality of wings of the annular structure to the base end of the tubular body.

Abstract: A product package is presented that has a sliding tray disposed within a sleeve. Both the sleeve and the tray have a tab on their top portions through which is positioned a hang-hole. The hang-holes in these two tabs align when the tray is inserted into the sleeve, allowing a display hanger to pass through the hole in both tabs. The tray also has a structure with an overhang portion that extends beyond a side wall of the tray. The overhang portion is positioned to abut the edge of the sleeve when the tray is fully inserted into the sleeve to prevent the tray from passing too far into, or even through the sleeve.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the packaging of air treatment devices are shown and described. In some embodiments, a package may be configured to store an air treatment device. For example, the air treatment device may be an air filter, cleaner, purifier, or the like. The package may include a first lateral surface configured to accommodate a proximal end of the air treatment device and a second lateral surface configured to accommodate a distal end of the air treatment device. The package may further comprise a middle surface coupled between the first and second lateral surfaces. In some cases, at least a portion of the first or second lateral surfaces may include an opaque area. Moreover, at least a portion of the middle surface may include a transparent or translucent area configured to reveal at least a portion of the air treatment device.

Abstract: A display box for displaying an image of an article, the display box including a lower box portion including a mounting surface for placing the article for display; an upper box portion that reversibly closes with the lower box portion, the upper box portion including a parabolic chamber having a reflective convex surface positioned above a reflective concave surface and a transparent port at each of two opposing apexes, the parabolic chamber configured to display an image of the article through the transparent port at the apex of the convex surface; and a structure for holding the article in place and preventing the entirety of the article from entering the parabolic chamber during display.

Abstract: The invention provides packages for storing consumable products and methods for making and using same. The packages may include containers housed within a housing, which may include at least one viewable area in a wall of the housing to allow a consumer to see through at least a portion of the housing. The containers may also include at least one viewable area in a wall of the containers and the location of the viewable area may correspond to a location of the viewable area of the housing. The containers may also be connected such that the containers may be removed from the housing, rotated about a hinged connection, and placed on a shelf for storage.

Abstract: A blank having panels and flaps, a carton foldably constructed from the blank, a polybag, and a packaging system that includes the carton, the polybag, or both. At least some of the cover wells each includes a support extending from a bottom surface thereof. The cover secures to and substantially covers the pan in a first configuration. Abstract: The present invention provides a box package having a clamshell with a panel assembly, and a method of manufacturing and using a box package. The clamshell includes a first part and a second part adapted to form a cavity. The first and second parts are movable relative to one another about an operating hinge between an open position and a closed position. A panel assembly covers at least a portion of each of the first and second parts. The clamshell may include more than one manufacturing hinge, and at least one of the manufacturing hinges may divide the first and second parts. The panel assembly may define an access window and at least a portion of the first part may open and close through the access window.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described that facilitate generating a changing visual effect during opening and closing of a package for a product. The package includes first and second portions, each having thereon an polarized interference region with non-parallel planes of polarization. All or part of the second package portion is transparent to one polarization, permitting the polarized interference region on the first package portion to interact with a polarized interference region on the second package portion. The package portions are mated together (e.g., in a tube and sleeve arrangement or the like), such that the polarized regions are aligned and overlap each other when the package is closed, thereby permitting less light through due to the two overlapping planes of polarization. As the package is opened (or closed), the polarized regions move or slide past each other, creating the visual effect by changing the size and shape of the overlapping polarized region.

The retail display includes a first article of clothing disposed within the first section, wherein the degree of movement of the first article of clothing is limited by walls of the first box and the vertical side wall of the inner box. A second article of clothing is disposed within the second interior compartment of the inner box.

Abstract: A method of supplying a portable medical gas system is provided. The disclosed method includes preparing a portable medical gas system, the portable medical gas system including a cylinder adapted to be filled with medical gas and a gas dispensing valve. The portable medical gas system is place in a specialized container having a configuration adapted to hold the portable medical gas system only when the cylinder of portable medical gas system is unused state or empty state. The portable medical gas system is delivered to the customer, and returned as an empty cylinder via commercial carrier. Upon receipt of the empty or spent portable medical gas system, another portable medical gas system filled with medical gas is sent to the customer. In one embodiment, the portable medical gas system includes a single-use flow control valve which ensures the cylinder is empty after its initial use.

Abstract: Secondary packaging for a primary package or product that is at least about 2 times and preferably 2.5 times as high as it is wide. The secondary packaging has a window in the front wall through which the product partially extends. Support for the product is provided by support extensions formed from the side walls in the form of tabs formed integrally from the blank from which the secondary packaging is formed. The product may be secured against rotation by being adhered to an top support tab. The bottom of the window may be reinforced by a tab that is folded inward and against the interior of the front wall in which the window is formed. Side panels may be provided on the left and right sides of the window to provide lateral support to the product and also to reinforce the left and right sides of the window.

Abstract: An improved long box package for prerecorded media includes an elongated substantially rectangular box enclosure having a front wall, a rear wall, and a pair of first and second side walls. The box enclosure further includes an open top end, a bottom end adapted to be closed, and an interior shelf disposed between the top end and the bottom end for supporting the bottom end of a media case to be carried by the package. An opening is formed in the front wall that is contiguous with the open top end and which extends toward the shelf. In combination, the open top end and the contiguous front wall opening define an open channel for receiving the media case. The open channel facilitates rapid placement of the media case in the package by virtue of the media case not being restricted to insertion through the top end only.

The barrier seals to each vessel for covering the opening and containing the beverage in the respective vessel. The barrier is peelable from the vessel without destroying the vessel to provide access to the beverage stored in the vessel.

Abstract: By providing a pre-printed promotional holding system which can be produced in a wide variety of alternate forms and/or configurations and which employs a pre-folded, fully assembled panel system which is quickly and easily converted from a substantially flat configuration into a three-dimensional, fully constructed configuration, a hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest generating advertising/promotional product and holding system is attained. This previously unattainable result is realized in the present invention. In the preferred embodiment, the panel system automatically produces, when moved into its three-dimensional configuration, a fully enclosed, rectangular shaped box incorporating an arcuately pivotable cover plate preferably associated with the top surface of the box.

The apertures are sized to be at least partially elastically deformed when installed over the caps of the product containers. Additionally, the locator web provides frictional resistance to rotation of the product containers, which enables the containers to be positioned and held in place relative to the carton open face so that the label front portions are visible.

The neck tie is folded across the top wall and through the slit such that the broad pointed end of the tie is disposed with the compartment of the base portion underneath the insert.

Abstract: An apparatus 100 and a method (M) for packaging, displaying, and storing an electronic product having a front portion 10 including a complementary contour 11, a back portion 30 including a complementary contour 31, and an inner portion 20 including a complementary contour 21, the inner portion 20 being disposed between the front portion 10 and the back portion 30. The front portion 10, the back portion 30, and the inner portion 20 being fitted together via their respective complementary contours 11, 31, 21. The front portion 20 includes at least one coincident member 13 distributed along the lip of the periphery 14; and a coincident orifice 15 for facilitating display of the product by hanging. The back portion 30 includes at least one coincident orifice 33 distributed along a periphery 34; and a coincident orifice 35 for facilitating display of the product by hanging.

Abstract: An article for holding and displaying a neck tie that includes a narrow end and an opposite broad pointed end includes a base portion and an insert. The base portion has a compartment for receiving and holding the folded neck tie and is open along a top thereof. The insert has a pair of upstanding leg portions and a top wall that extends between the upstanding leg portions. The top wall has a pointed slit formed therein that defines a depressable tab portion. The insert is inserted into the base portion such that the folded neck tie is disposed between the upstanding leg portions and a space is formed between a first end of the insert and one end wall of the base portion through which the neck tie extends. The neck tie is folded across the top wall and through the slit such that the broad pointed end of the tie is disposed with the compartment of the base portion underneath the insert.
