Abstract: Personal care compositions comprising three liquid layers, particular useful for treating hair. The compositions are visually three separate layers. One layer comprises an oil phase, one layer comprises a polyol phase, and one layer comprises a silicone phase. The compositions can be mixed homogenously upon shaking, and remain homogenous for a sufficient period of time to allow the consumer to use the product, before it separates into three distinct layers again. The compositions do not have substantial amounts of surfactants or emulsifiers, and no more than 1% of salts or mineral oil.

The packages may include containers housed within a housing, which may include at least one viewable area in a wall of the housing to allow a consumer to see through at least a portion of the housing. The containers may also include at least one viewable area in a wall of the containers and the location of the viewable area may correspond to a location of the viewable area of the housing. The containers may also be connected such that the containers may be removed from the housing, rotated about a hinged connection, and placed on a shelf for storage.

In one preferred embodiment, the plastic face piece creates a 3-dimensional area that stands out from the package and may resemble a toy, a magnet, or a window to view the product inside the bag. In another preferred embodiment, the face piece is in the form of a receptacle that holds a separate product or other device that is removably secured to the package. Examples of separate products include a toy, an electronic game, a dip, a food product, or condiments. The face piece may be attached to either the inner or outer surface of a panel or wall of the bag. If both the bag and face piece are made of compatible materials, they may be joined by heat sealing.

Abstract: The present invention is to a method and apparatus for merchandising charcoal products in a box dimensioned for display on a store shelf. The box has a handle and preferably includes a merchandising window. Wood chip samples, such as hickory chips or mesquite chips, can be packaged with the tote box and the presence of the sample is preferably made known to consumers via the merchandising window. The tote box handle and size allows for easier consumer handling and the box form allows improved retail and consumer storage. Additionally, since boxes are inherently more stable than bags and are less prone to tipping over, consumers benefit from reduce spillage from opened containers. The box size combined with the merchandising window and wood chip sample provides retailers with improved marketing of charcoal products.

Abstract: A compact disc package made of a stiff paperboard blank having three panels, which when folded and adhered, create a pocket for holding a compact disc. There are semicircular windows which when aligned show a portion of the compact disc enclosed in the package. Particularly preferred are windows in the shape of half leaves complemented by symmetrical half leaves embossed or printed on the container surface adjacent the windows. Abstract: A package for spark plugs including a packaging material blank which is folded to form two hollow wall portions which receive opposite ends of the spark plugs. An intermediate section which is intregally connected to the hollow wall portions and a tab if formed onto one of the hollow wall portions, so that the same side of the package material blank always points outwards. A cover or a sleeve is arranged to cover the follow wall portions and the intermediate section as protection against theft. Viewing windows, and tear tabs which are bounded by perforations permit the spark plugs to be checked and removed easily.
