Abstract: A Cannabis juice purée is packaged using high pressure processing (HPP). First, a Cannabis juice purée is formed by collecting raw Cannabis material and blending the raw Cannabis material together with a thickening agent and a sweetening agent. Next, the Cannabis juice purée is deposited into a container and the container is processed using HPP. In HPP, the Cannabis juice purée is loaded into a high-pressure chamber filled with pressure transmitting fluid, such as water. The pressure is applied to the Cannabis juice purée. A lid is used to seal the opening of the container. HPP allows the mixture to be pasteurized without applying heat. HPP extends the shelf life of the Cannabis juice purée to several weeks to months without applying heat that could undesirably decarboxylating the cannabinoids present in the Cannabis juice purée. Shelf life is preserved while providing a liquid beverage form of Cannabis juice purée.

In one example, the pasteurizing is performed using flash pasteurization, such as a High Temperature Short Time (HTST) pasteurization process. The flash pasteurization process neutralizes pathogens such as bacteria and parasites. Next, the pasteurized cannabis juice purée is packaged into a container thereby obtaining a packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée. The container is a food-grade bottled juice container, an ice pop container, or a juice cube container. The packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée contains only non-decarboxylated cannabinoids. In other embodiments, additional cannabinoids are added before or after the HTST pasteurization process.

An elastic tape is attached to the back surface and to the support. Also attached to the support is a ribbon which is secured to the elastic tape at a connection point. The support can be extended to retrieve the personal device from the compartment or pocket which stretches the elastic tape and the ribbon until the ribbon is fully extended preventing the further extension of the support. The elastic tape may then facilitate the retraction of the apparatus into the compartment or pocket.

The device is small and can be sized to fit in a person's pocket. The wafers are stacked, loaded, and housed in a chamber. When loading, the hinged lid is opened and a stack of wafers are inserted. An elevation spring and associated elevation pad propel the wafers in a position to be dispensed. The wafers are then dispensed by the user who pulls them through a lid opening. Once dispensed, the user wraps the wafer around the spent chewing gum and then disposes.

The food product is contained within an inner container cavity formed by an outer cover and a center member.
