The magnets interact with each other to hold the containers to each other, hold lids to containers, and hold lids to lids. The magnets are preferably molded inside of the lid and inside the container, the magnets being surrounded by material. This avoids any contact between stored food and the magnets, thus preventing contamination.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for drying non-fried instant noodles for obtaining non-fried noodles that are easily loosened without sticking of noodle strings and excellent in restorability. The present invention includes, as a step of drying non-fried instant noodles, a step of putting gelatinized noodle strings into a drying retainer, and blowing a high-speed air flow from above the retainer toward a noodle mass of the noodle strings to perform drying. In the drying step, the retainer employed has a shape such that a transition portion from a bottom surface to a side surface (side wall portion) is formed to be a curved surface with a radius of curvature of 5 to 15 mm, and preferably the high-speed air flow is blown at a wind speed of 50 m/s or higher in terms of the speed to which the noodle strings are exposed.

A first connector is adapted for removably connecting the first bowl to the upper surface of the support member in a substantially non-movable manner. At least a portion of the front upper edge of the bowl is below the rear upper edge of the bowl.

Abstract: A magnetic sink insert. The magnetic sink insert includes a first ring including an upper portion, a lower portion, an outer wall, and an interior wall defining an opening. The inner diameter of the upper portion is equal to the inner diameter of the lower portion, and the outer diameter of the upper portion is greater than the outer diameter of the lower portion. The lower portion is configured to removably engage a sink drain via a frictional fit or a threaded connection therewith. In one embodiment, a plurality of posts extends upwardly from the first ring, and a second ring is affixed to the upper ends of the plurality of posts. The first and second rings include a magnetic material. The magnetic material attracts metallic utensils and other metallic objects to the interior walls of the rings, preventing metallic objects from falling into a garbage disposal.

In use, the top piece and bottom piece are separated from one another, and the top piece is positioned over a contaminated medical device. In this position the magnetic attraction of the magnet pulls the contaminated medical device within the cavity and the bottom piece is engaged with the top piece thereby quarantining the contaminated medical device. Abstract: A magnetic storage device is disclosed which is capable of retaining a plurality of articles, each having a thickness and a magnetic affinity. The storage device includes a base having a cavity which houses a magnetic member and a tray which mates with the base to enclose the magnetic member. The tray has a plurality of cavities formed in an upper surface and each of the cavities is designed to retain one of the articles. Each of the cavities has an elongated, semi-circular configuration with opposite ends located adjacent to a pair of raised abutments. The pair of raised abutments extends to a height less than the thickness of each article. The storage device also includes a cover which can be secured to the tray to enclose the plurality of articles therein. A method of assembling the magnetic storage device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A magnetically-hanging spice dispenser comprises a plate assembly and a container assembly. The plate assembly comprises a non-magnetic planer plate and permanent magnets. The container assembly comprise a cylindrical spice container, a circular removable cap and a magnetic element. Magnetic attraction force between the magnetic element of the container assembly and the permanent magnet of the plate assembly is exerted when the container assembly is placed in proximity to the plate assembly. The container assembly and the plate assembly form self-seal in order to prevent dust, air, moisture and the like from entering into the spice container. The plate assembly further comprises ferromagnetic materials. Each ferromagnetic material has a greater dimension than each hole of the plate assembly so that the permanent magnet can securely attach to the planer plate by magnetic attraction force alone without use of glue.

A brush shaping flap, which is flexibly coupled to an outer shell, maintains the shape of brush bristles while a brush is stored in the apparatus. One or more magnetic elements are used to hold the brush in place in the apparatus. The magnetic elements are positioned to engage the ferromagnetic ferrule of a paintbrush. An attachment means may be coupled to the apparatus thus allowing for convenient attachment to a persons belt. A plurality of ventilation holes may be provided on the apparatus. A spring means may be provided for urging the bristle shaping flap against the brush bristles.

Abstract: A transport unit includes a plurality of permanent magnets arranged to provide a magnetic holding field for protecting hyperpolarized gas during storage and/or transport. The permanent magnets are configured in a relatively light weight manner to project a substantially cylindrical magnetic holding field or spherical holding field in space. The magnet arrangements can include primary magnets and field shaping secondary magnets which act to enlarge the region of homogeneity. The permanent magnet arrangement can also be provided with a cylindrical shaped flex sheet magnetically activated to provide the magnetic holding field. The permanent magnet arrangements do not require disassembly to insert or remove one or more containers of hyperpolarized gas in or out of the transport unit.
