Abstract: The present invention relates to a cigarette box and its blanks together with the configuration of their joints. The cigarette box according to the invention is based on a rectangular prism, and includes a storage space intended to store the cigarettes and a hinged lid of an upper cover (1) of an articulated joint (47) placed on the rear wall (2) of the outer casing of the box. In turn, an additional storage space with an independent access, formed between the rear wall (2) or the inner front wall (30) or (46) by means of lower flap (5) or (25) or (38) independently or dependently hinged from the upper cover (1) is arranged on the front or on the rear of the box and it consists of the additional outer walls A, B, C, D, E, F,G, H, I, J, K, L forming the external sheath of the screening-protecting package.

Between the hinged front wall (8) and the inside front wall (Z) there is an additional compartment useful for matches (9), lighters or other objects. The inside front wall (7) has two extrusion ridges (10, 11) oriented towards the box interior, where the lower extrusion ridge forms the storage space. The outside front wall is made of the same substance as the box and may feature an extrusion ridge (17) oriented towards the outside which would form an additional storage space.
