Sliding Patents (Class 209/342)
  • Patent number: 11040373
Abstract: A sliding drawer sifter apparatus for sorting plant buds by size includes a frame having a set of drawers comprising a top drawer, a middle drawer, and a bottom draw. Each of the set of drawers has a handle and an inner lip. A set of sifter grates each has a grate perimeter selectively engageable with the inner lip of each of the drawers and a grate body coupled within the grate perimeter. The set of sifter grates comprises a top grate, a middle grate, and a bottom grate. The grate body of the bottom grate is finer than the grate body of the middle grate. The grate body of the middle grate is finer than the grate body of the top grate. The top grate, the middle grate, and the bottom grate are configured to sort progressively smaller plant buds into the set of drawers.

  • Patent number: 4958935
Abstract: A method of breaking up bundles of adherent hard fibers, particularly steelfibers and feeding the obtained single fibers to a mixing device. The method comprises vibrating said bundles of adhering fibers on an oscillating screen to obtain separated fibers, passing said separated fibers being aligned in a plane parallel to the plane of said screen through oblong openings of said screen, through which openings in the main only one fiber at a time can pass and supplying by means of gravity and oscillating force said individual fibers to said mixing device spread over a large area, said area being larger than the area of said screen. The screen (4) has oblong openings (8) having a length corresponding mainly to the length of the fibers and a width being essentially less than the length of said fibers.

  • Patent number: 4664790
Abstract: A method for screening of wooden chips and the similar stuff placed upon a vibrating conveyor including a chute (1) and a frame (2), at which the bottom (4) of the chute (1) is provided with a screening grid consisting of mutually parallel screening rods (6) and is brought to vibrate relative to the frame (2) by help of a vibrating device (11) and at which the frame (2) is provided with longish carriers (9) which are arranged projecting up between the screening rods (6) and the carriers (9), and at which the carriers (9) is brought to vibrate partly relative to the frame (2) and partly relative to the chute (1) with the screening rods. The chute (1) with the screening rods (6) is vibrating in the same plane as the carriers (9) at which the relative movement between the screening rods (6) and the carriers (9) is controlled by a mutual phase displacement of these respectively movement of vibration.

  • Patent number: 4233151
Abstract: A stack of interfitting sieve trays are held in position on a carrier by an upstanding periperial wall on the carrier which engages the lower portion of the lower sieve tray, and by a plurality of clamp-down units which at their lower ends are pivotally connected to end portions of the carrier and at their upper ends include a lever operated hook mechanisms for engaging upper edge portions of the top sieve tray. Side edge portions of the carrier are provided with upper and lower bearing strips. These edge portions are received between upper and lower sets of cam rollers which are mounted onto web portions of side members which have been fashioned from channel stock. The side members carry bearing strips which contact and guide the side edges of the carrier. The clamp-down units are overweighted on their outer sides so that when released they will fall outwardly against stop means for limiting the amount of outward movement.

  • Patent number: 4188288
Abstract: A screening mechanism which has two ladder-shaped frame systems with spaced parallel ladder stringers and spaced parallel ladder rungs extending between the stringers, wherein at least one of the said frame systems is moving relatively to the other frame system to form sieve zones of continuously changing width with alternating dips of a different depth, curved arches or a different tension in a stretched condition, whereby at least one of the said frame systems is connected to a driving means such as a crankshaft, electro-magnets, pneumatic or hydraulically driven cylinders or the like and is held on link springs, swing supports, rollers, suspended swings, cables, swing metals or the like, while the other frame system is moving by the same driving means shifted by 180.degree..
