Patent number: 11654440Abstract: The present invention proposes a coal and gangue separation device, including a first supporting seat, a guide part and multiple material bins. The guide part is hinged with the first supporting seat; the guide part rotates in a vertical direction; and inlets of the plurality of material bins are sequentially distributed on a rotation track of a movable end of the guide part. In the coal and gangue separation device of the present invention, the high-pressure airflow of a high-pressure nozzle does not directly act on the materials, but on grate bar driving mechanisms; and cantilever grate bars are driven to rotate by the grate bar driving mechanisms so as to directionally discharge the mineral aggregate. Therefore, the gangue can accurately enter a gangue collection bin; and the clean coal can accurately enter a clean coal collection bin.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2021Date of Patent: May 23, 2023Assignee: ANHUI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYInventors: Chao Wang, Jinbo Zhu, Wenbao Lv, Yong Zhang, Ke Yang, Hongzheng Zhu, Wei Zhou, Yongcun Guo

Publication number: 20080023377Abstract: A gravity mineral recovery apparatus and process uses stratification to separate the relatively heavier valuable particulates from the lighter tailings in ore. A housing holds a process chamber therein, the chamber capable of oscillating within the housing. Ore is gravity fed into the process chamber and falls toward the bottom with the ore channeled to the outer sidewall of the process chamber by a deflector that creates an annular passage within the chamber. The oscillation of the chamber causes the heavier particulate to stratify into circumferentially disposed hoppers while the tailings are discharged through a central chute to a tailings hopper. The hoppers have compound sloped sidewalls and have a sensor for opening a discharge valve within the hopper once a given concentration is achieved. A series of sensors within the tailings hopper control a tailings discharge valve as well as an ore feed valve.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2006Publication date: January 31, 2008Inventor: George P. Patent number: 5749472Abstract: A mining system and related methods for recovering gold and/or other heavy metals at multiple sites along a continuously hydrated ore processing route. The gold-bearing ore and primary or carrier water are dynamically and circuitously displaced to segregate the gold, and precipitate the gold particles into predetermined recovery sites along the flow path of the mix. Boil box recovery sites are selectively provided for recovery of nuggets and smaller gold particles. Secondary water churns and disrupts the primary carrier flow of the mix through each boil box. The master stream of gold-sized ore-primary water mix is subdivided into several separate streams or substreams. The sub streams are violent in nature, with one exception, and are typically contained in man-made canal-forming troughs or multiple recovery sits. Recovery sites have one or more drop slots. A downward draw caused by flow of secondary water in a conduit located below each slot enhances recovery.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1996Date of Patent: May 12, 1998Assignees: A.U. Mines, Inc., Rennat TrustInventor: Noel Tanner

Patent number: 5087351Abstract: A modified fluidized bed separates materials differing in weight by as little as one percent. A fluidized bed is formed by directing air through vanes on an underside of a screen. Products, such as peanuts, delivered to a central portion of the screen are initially separated so that lighter weight products float on the fluidized bed and are drawn by gravity toward a lower end where a second separation takes place. The lightest products at this second end are listed over an exit weir by a controllable air jet. Desired products are not ejected and are collected.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 1990Date of Patent: February 11, 1992Assignee: Golden Peanut Company, a Georgia General PartnershipInventor: Howard E. Patent number: 4472269Abstract: A sluice box classifier for a sluice box of a gold mining dredge includes a trough and a rim secured to an underside of the trough. The rim anchors the trough to a standard size container. The trough is formed of four walls and a bottom, and is at least as wide as a lower end portion of the sluice box from which collected overburden is received. The bottom includes a center panel and two floor panels which slope upwardly from opposite sides of the center panel to meet opposite sidewalls of the trough. The floor panels funnel overburden deposited into the trough from the sluice box to the center panel where a plurality of openings in the center panel allows the smaller pieces of overburden to pass through into the container. A portion of a front wall of the trough is bent outwardly of the trough to cooperate with an angle member so as to form a slot which connects the trough to the sluice box.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 1982Date of Patent: September 18, 1984Assignee: D & K Detector Sales, Inc.Inventor: Thomas E.
