In a heating cycle, the flow valve of the refrigerant distributor may be configured to be in an open state that allows the refrigerant to flow into the refrigerant distributor and to be directed out of the MCHEX through the refrigerant distributor. In some embodiments, the refrigerant distributor may be configured to receive liquid refrigerant, so as to eliminate the need of an expansion valve in a HVAC system.

    Abstract: A bidirectional filter and a heat pump system. The bidirectional filter comprises a housing and at least two control value components. The two control value components divide the inner chamber of the housing into a filter chamber and two transitional chambers. The control value component comprises a frame body fixed on an inner wall of the housing, and an outlet blocking piece fitting an outlet of the frame body. The outlet blocking piece is on an outer side of the frame body. The bidirectional filter further comprises a protective member located in the filter chamber and fixed relative to the housing. The protective member is provided with a protective surface opposite to an outer side surface of the outlet blocking piece. When the pressure of a refrigerant in the pipeline is too high, the protective surface of the protective member can limit movement of the outlet blocking piece.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a liquid filter, having a filter housing, which contains a receiving space for a ring filter element. The liquid filter further has a no-load duct, which is opened when the ring filter element is taken out. A pin is formed on a lower end disc of the ring filter element, the pin projects parallel to the longitudinal axis. A ramp is formed on the bottom of the receiving space. The ramp is matched to the pin in such a manner that, when the ring filter element is inserted into the filter housing, the pin slides downwards on the ramp and penetrates the opening of the no-load duct. A structure is in the receiving space, the structure allows functional insertion of the ring filter element if the ring filter element slides with its pin along the ramp until the pin penetrates the opening of the no-load duct.
