A first end of each support rib is connected to an outer circumferential edge of the annular plate, and a second end of the support rib radially extends outwards from the annular plate. An inner wall of an annular seat is securely connected to the second ends of the support ribs. The annular fastener has multiple pin holders annularly connected. Each pin holder has a through hole vertically formed through the pin holder and detachably mounted through by a pin. When the movable filter grid is applied to drain inlets on different terrains, the pins taking the form of a grating can prevent debris from blocking the drain holes.

Abstract: A screen media element having at least one apertured section. The apertured section has a first surface intended to receive and carry material to be screened, a second surface opposite the first surface, apertures extending from the first surface to the second surface and a circumferential surface connecting the first and second surfaces. The apertured section is surrounded by an outer frame along the circumferential surface, characterized in that the apertured section is made from ceramic material and that the outer frame is made of elastomeric material. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a screen media element, and a screen comprising such screen media elements.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a grease trap system for wastewater systems, having an inlet pipe with a shut off valve, an outlet pipe with a shut off valve and a grease interceptor comprising a replaceable container body including means to trap fats, oils and grease within the body. The body has inlet and outlet slide couplers in opposed walls, and each coupler has an associated connecting means to sealingly fluidly connect the slide couplers to the inlet and outlet pipes. When the container body is disconnected from the pipes the slide couplers may also be sealed by a removable plug for transport. The slide couplers displace inwardly and outwardly relative to the container to give clearance between the pipes to remove the container. A method of replacing full containers with empty containers is also comprehended.

Abstract: A filter assembly for use in drainage systems to prevent the buildup of eroded materials such as soil, leaves and other debris. The assembly includes a unitary frame and a filter media attached to the frame and is adapted to be retained within a component of a drainage sewer such as a catch basin. A porous material filter media such as a woven or non-woven geotextile allows for the flow of water through the filter while retaining debris or soil within the filter. The filter media extends into the basin to provide volume for the retained material without blocking the entire surface of the filter.

  • Patent number: 8679328
Abstract: A floor drain cover is provided having a substantially rectangular frame defined by a first and second parallel outer frame member, perpendicular cross members connecting the outer frame members together, and an apertured screen positioned over the frame to prevent solid debris from passing therethrough and into a floor drain. The device is positioned over an existing floor drain to prevent debris from clogging the floor drain grate or drain interior. The apertured screen is elevated above the ground and positioned along the upper surfaces of the frame to collect falling debris, while debris is separated from free flowing water entering through the frame sides and ends by way of side frame member apertures and screened end portions. The cover can be periodically removed and cleaned, while the underlying drain is kept largely clean of debris that would otherwise require internal cleaning.

  • Publication number: 20140069854
Abstract: A drain cover having a main drainage surface with relatively larger apertures or openings therein, comprising generally 50 percent of the surface, so that larger debris is accepted into a related drain pipe when a depending skirt portion of the drain cover, having smaller perforations, becomes clogged. In this way a two-layer drainage system for a generally flat surface is provided that allows draining of water and small particulates alone when possible, but upon the clogging of the smaller openings the generally flat surface can be protected from flooding by allowing larger particulates to drain into the main drainage surface. The main drainage surface is held above the flat surface by the depending skirt, at a level of 3/8 to 1 inch above the flat surface. When the depending skirt openings are clogged the water and debris will rise until allowed to drain into the larger openings of the main drainage surface.
