  • Patent number: 10533273
Abstract: An apparatus for a laundry treating appliance can include a tub carrying a first basket defining a first treating chamber. A removable basket assembly can be included in the laundry treating appliance selectively carried at least partially within the first basket. A portion of the second basket can be sloped complementary to a portion of the second basket or a portion of the second basket in order to form a liquid-tight seal between the first basket and the second basket.

  • Patent number: 10280544
Abstract: A fabric treating appliance includes a rotatable basket defining a treating chamber for receiving a load of laundry items for treatment. The basket comprises a dual wall, having an inner wall and an outer wall, defining a space therebetween. Liquid within the treating chamber can flow through a plurality of liquid extraction perforations and into the space between the walls, where the liquid can drain downwardly out through an opening in the outer wall and into a tub.

  • Patent number: 7909174
Abstract: A dewatering structure includes a receptacle body, a dewatering unit and an operation apparatus. The receptacle body includes a receptacle tub and an assembling space, in which the receptacle tub and the assembling space are independent from each other. The operation apparatus includes an operation unit and a base. The operation unit includes an active pedal and a driven pedal, which are pivotally coupled to the base and are intersected with each other. The driven pedal includes a free end slidably coupled with a driving block having a threaded through hole. The threaded through hole is provided for connection with a threaded rod sheathed in a spring member. When the active pedal and the driven pedal are repetitively pressed each other and then released, the dewatering unit is driven to rotate, thus producing a centrifugal force for removing the water from the water-contained object.

  • Patent number: 6783675
Abstract: Said floating group comprises: a drum (20) aligned with a center line (M) which rotates within a wrapping bin (10) driven by a motor (32), and when it rotates it creates, by an effect of masses unbalance, an actual rotation axis (N) different from said center line (M); a counterweigh (40) of mass mCE associated to a front part of the bin (10) and a counterweigh (42) of mass mCT associated to a front part of the drum (20), where the ratio [mCT/(mCE+mCT)]×100≧55, said mass mCT either a given magnitude centered with said center line (M) or a very lower magnitude and in the form of one or more fluid rings (60), the stresses the floating group sustains resulting substantially reduced, it being for it made in a light construction.
