Abstract: A tire display stand comprises a base member formed from a single sheet of material, a telescoping vertical support member attached to the base member, a pair of elastomeric tread support members attached to the base member, and an elastomeric bead support member attached to the top end of the telescoping vertical support member.
Abstract: A tire rack for changing a vehicle tire comprised of two tubular members formed in the shape of an inverted U with the ends of the U-shape adapted to fit into brace members which engage the ground. Mechanical means are provided between the ends of the U-shape and the brace members to vary the vertical height of the rack. The intermediate portion of the U-shape is formed with a reverse U-shape which carries ball members adapted to engage a tire to be changed to facilitate movement of the tire.
Abstract: A stock rack of the type used in tire plants for transporting tread forming blanks and wherein a plurality of trays are supported on end upright supports and one or more intermediate upright supports for swinging movement between a generally horizontal position and a raised position. Each tray has a plurality of axially aligned rolled rim sections along its rear edge, the rolled rim sections being dimensioned to extend between adjacent ones of the upright supports and having adjacent ends spaced apart to receive an intermediate upright support therebetween. The upright supports have hinge rod receiving openings at vertically spaced locations therealong and hinge rods extend through horizontally aligned ones of the hinge rod receiving openings in the upright end and intermediate supports and through the rolled rim sections on a respective one of the trays.
Abstract: A display stand for generally toroidal articles capable of being folded into a single plane for convenient storage or transporting having two sides, with a first side member being formed as an integral enclosed wire loop and the other side member being similarly configured and pivotally attached to form a hinge about a common leg with the first side member, base legs of the sides which engage a resting surface for the display stand, riser posts incorporated in the sides to vertically displace the article to be displayed up off of the resting surface, carriage arms formed in the sides at a convenient angle for visual observation of the displayed article, dogleg offsets in the arms which engage the article to insure its retention, and a crossbar for locking the sides in spaced relation and forming a generally triangular resting zone for the article to be displayed.
Abstract: Two flat, elongated support plates are arranged to form the shape of an X as viewed from the side. A base plate connects the bottom ends of the support plates together. A concave plate connects the top ends of the support plates together with the concave facing upwardly. A pair of these elements can be connected together by an elongated telescopic member that is secured at each end to a corresponding element by a hinge.
