Abstract: A ring supporting device is provided with six support shafts capable of approaching and separating from the inner walls of metal rings. Each of the support shafts has an exposed side wall having formed thereon annular ridges and grooves. The side walls of the support shafts each have cushioning materials having a height substantially corresponding to the height of each of the grooves. The cushioning materials deform when the inner walls of the metallic rings make contact with the cushioning materials, and this relaxes a force which tries to expand the metallic rings from the inner wall side to the outer wall side.

Abstract: An island merchandiser including a first merchandiser module, a second merchandiser module, a third merchandiser module, and a fourth merchandiser module. The first merchandiser module includes a product display area maintained within a temperature range at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The second merchandiser module is positioned next and coupled to the first merchandiser module. The third merchandiser module is positioned next and coupled to the first merchandiser module and the second merchandiser module. The fourth merchandiser module is positioned next to the first merchandiser module and the second merchandiser module opposite the third merchandiser module. The island merchandiser also includes a first insulation panel positioned between the first and second merchandiser modules and the third merchandiser module, and a second insulation panel positioned between the first and second merchandiser modules and the fourth merchandiser module.

Abstract: An extendable shelf comprises a first shelf extension and a second shelf extension slidingly engaged to permit extension to a variety of widths. Stops mounted at predetermined locations to provide specific widths of the assembled shelf. An indicia sheet is carried by the first shelf extension. The indicia sheet is marked with a plurality of indicia to indicate the different potential widths of the assembled shelf. A cover sheet is carried by the second shelf extension. Lateral adjustment of the shelf extensions to different relative positions causes the cover sheet to exposes appropriate indicia to identify the current shelf width and covers the alternative indicia of widths.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention is a free standing display unit having a rotating base, at least one vertical support mounted on the base, and a plurality of shelves supported by the at least one vertical support. Each shelf is interchangeable between a plurality of different configurations, with a first configuration changeable to a second configuration by pivoting movement of one or more portions of the shelf between a stored position and an operational or display position.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a display structure that supports products in a display area within reach of a customer location. The apparatus further includes a panel structure supported for movement along upper and lower tracks. The panel structure has a transparent viewing section and indicia relating to the products, but is not configured to support any products itself. The panel structure also has horizontally opposite side edges spaced apart at a width that is less than the width of the display area. A frame structure supports the upper and lower tracks at locations that provide the panel structure with a path of movement interposed between the customer location and the display area. The path of movement includes positions in which the display area can be reached from the customer location past either of the opposite side edges of the panel structure.

Abstract: A vibration-assisted ejection cassette includes: outer plates 11 which align PTP-packaged drugs 20 for storage; a top frame 12 which is provided above an open front and which prevents accommodated drugs from being falling forward; an inner plate 13 which carries the accommodated drugs and advances the drugs when vibrated; and a vibrating member 15 which vibrates the inner plate 13. Thereby, vibration is exploited to maintain the drugs 20 in alignment with each other, advance the drugs while maintaining the drugs in alignment and eject them one by one. Additionally, a retention member 18 for retaining an ejected drug is provided in front of the open front. A control circuit 17 activates or stops activating the vibrating member 15 in accordance with whether or not an ejection detecting member detects that a drug is being retained. In this way, it is ensured that drugs are either manually picked up one by one or ejected by an automatic mechanism in an equally easy and stable manner.

The new system provides for carton flow lanes by mounting a series of shelf slotters along the replenish side shelf rail. Goods, typically in boxes, are placed into slots or lanes on the shelf platform, as guided by the shelf slotters. The series of parallel rollers allows the goods to travel down the shelf platform. Once the goods are directed into a lane by the shelf slotters, they will travel under the force of gravity down the roller tracks without significant deviation in their path, eliminating the need for a lane divider and reducing the labor involved in re-profiling a carton flow shelving system.

The C-channels can also be arranged in pairs with left hand and right hand rails being connected to the respective C-channels. The support surfaces on respective left hand and right hand rails are generally aligned and define a support space.

The present invention encompasses shelving allocation units that are adjustable in a longitudinal direction to accommodate varying shelf depths. The present invention also provides for shelving allocation units that are adjustable in both the longitudinal direction, but also along an orthogonal axis. By being adjustable along an orthogonal axis, the shelving allocation units of the present invention may be adapted to accommodate various sizes of product. Abstract: A display cradle for storing and dispensing containers such as beverage cans and bottles. Containers are loaded from the rear of the display cradle onto shelves sloping downward from the back of the display cradle to the front of the display cradle. The bottom shelf of the display cradle includes an exit port at the front of the assembly, allowing containers to be removed from the display cradle. The display cradle includes an exit channel between a front wall and the front end of the shelves where the containers from each shelf drop through towards the exit port. A gate at the front end of each shelf pivots under the weight of the containers, allowing the front-most container on each shelf to enter the exit channel while preventing subsequent containers from entering the exit channel. When the containers have exited the exit channel, the biased gate tilts back allowing the next container on each shelf to repeat the sequence. The biased gates on each shelf may operate in unison with each other.

Abstract: A product merchandising outpost system of the present invention is a versatile and adaptable system of construction that allows for the merchandising of virtually any product at retail. The finished product can be custom manufactured to specific size, finish, material and design. The display can be assembled in multiple configurations based on the merchandising requirements. The product can also be used with or without several optional components. The display consists of a square tube frame with pre-punched holes approximately every four inches along the top and bottom horizontal frame members. Multiple frames can be attached together to create several merchandising display configurations using manufactured connectors. Each frame is outfitted with a merchandising panel. A decorative or functional element, such as display headers and decorative fins may also be, attached to the outside of the frame.

Each unit is manually movable between the front and the back of the shelf and is adapted to advance at least one row of products toward the front of the shelf. The side dividers of two adjacent units may be in vertical alignment with one another.

Abstract: A product holding, displaying and dispensing assembly includes a dispenser housing having a feed channel and a dispensing location together with a pre-packed, shipping cartridge holding a plurality of product units. The cartridge is inserted and held within the dispenser housing as the product units move within the cartridge to the dispensing location where a consumer can access and remove one or more product units. Unlike more conventional dispensers, the assembly of the present invention is configured so that the pre-packed cartridge is loaded into and remains within the housing as the product units are dispensed and advance forward within the dispenser. After insertion, the cartridge is locked in place by an arrangement of the feed track when one or more cans remain in the cartridge, but can be removed easily when the cartridge is empty. A forward facing surface also provides an additional advertising medium.

Abstract: A theft deterrent dispensing unit particularly for use with cans includes a conveyor section that leads to a dispensing head. A shroud extends over the forward edge of the conveying section. The dispensing head pivots downwardly allowing the leading can to be grasped without interference of the shroud. The rear edge of the dispensing head pivots upwardly, preventing the next adjacent can from moving immediately into the dispensing head until the dispensing head rotates back to a closed position. A locking mechanism is positioned on the side of the dispensing units to prevent two adjacent dispensing units from being opened at the same time. Finally, the speed at which the dispensing heads move from an open to a closed position is regulated to prevent rapid removal of cans from a single dispensing unit.

In a second position, the holder strongly fixes at least one displaying accessory to the first guide.
