Abstract: Refuse carts and refuse cart retention systems for use in retaining refuse carts inside a corral and transporting or emptying the carts when needed. The refuse cart retention system generally includes a retention corral and at least one large refuse cart and/or at least one small refuse cart. Various mechanisms for retaining refuse carts in the retention corral include retention structures to receive a segment of a refuse cart frame, and frame protrusions connected to the retention corral that can be placed in tight contact with a cutout in the sides of the refuse carts having a geometry substantially identical to that of the frame protrusions.

Abstract: The subject matter discloses a trash bin device, comprising a first trash bin having a first hollow body, an aperture to the first hollow body, a first lid configured to close the aperture, said lid is connected to an axis connected to the first trash bin and moves in a rotational manner along said axis, a first pedal located in the vicinity of a lower portion of the first trash bin, said first pedal moves when pressed on, a raising mechanism configured to transfer movement of the first pedal to movement of the first lid along the axis, such that pressing on the first pedal results in raising the first lid and enabling inserting an article to the first hollow body. The pedal may be connected to an arm mechanism, a cord mechanism or an electrical mechanism for raising the lid.

Embodiments include an apparatus including a convertible seating device and an adjustable storage device located beneath the convertible seating device. The convertible seating device may be converted into a sleeping device via at least one raising-lowering device pivotally connected to the seating device and storage device.

Abstract: Apparatuses for securing and transporting containers with lids is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a moveable can retaining arm for securing cans and a moveable lid retaining arm for securing the tops of cans. The apparatus further comprises wheels attached to the apparatus to make it mobile. The apparatus further may be extended to increase the number of containers it may carry.

Abstract: A trash collection assembly may include a dumpster housing which may house therein a dumpster to provide a more desirable aesthetic appeal. A garbage truck may be configured to lift the dumpster out of the dumpster housing without the need for the garbage truck driver to get out of the truck. A cover of the dumpster may open and close automatically respectively during the removal of the dumpster from the housing and return of the dumpster to the housing.

Abstract: A plurality of goods contained at random or in a predetermined arrangement, particularly in a three rows or more in a container such as a corrugated fiberboard box and a plastic container, etc., are stored in a goods storage device arranged in no more than two rows and having a plurality of goods storage sections. After the goods have been shifted to a goods drop-out device having a plurality of goods storing sections arranged in no more than two rows, a shutter disposed along a side surface portion of the goods drop-out device is opened and shut by an actuator, so that the goods which have been shifted to the goods storage section of the goods drop-out device are discharged into a goods storage section unit. By shifting the goods stored in a storage apparatus to a goods take-out device which has moved toward the storage apparatus side, a shifting operation of goods can be performed with ease.

Abstract: A support and cover restraining device for holding refuse containers including a post with mounting brackets for attaching a plurality of refuse containers and a guide rod projecting from the top of the post for mounting support arm structure having container covers attached at opposing ends thereof. The support arm structure includes first and second support arms attached to form a bowed structure. Central openings in the respective support arms permit placement on the guide rod and provide a separation distance between the respective openings to maintain the arms in a pivotal, radial orientation with respect to the post axis. A coil spring is positioned around the guide rod and between the respective support arms to impose a downward biasing force to maintain the lids in a closed position.

Abstract: A protector device for cans provided with a handle includes a pivoted cover member attached to a stationary support and movable to a substantially horizontal plane overlying the can. The cover member includes anchor means precluding horizontal displacement of the can as well as anchor means engageable with the can handle to prevent unwarranted vertical displacement between the cover member and can.
