Abstract: Storage systems for use in consumer appliances are provided. Storage system can be a storage assembly defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, the vertical, lateral, and transverse directions being mutually perpendicular. The storage assembly includes a mounting bracket, a first mounting tab and a second mounting tab extending in the transverse direction from a first end of the mounting bracket. The first mounting tab and the second mounting tab are configured to be inserted into a mounting track disposed within the consumer appliance. The storage assembly also includes a storage receptacle which is supported at a second end of the mounting bracket.

Abstract: A hook connection structure of a shelf is configured to connect a fixing rod between two hooks which are connected on two bottoms of two connection racks, and the fixing rod is mounted below a holding plate by using the two hooks. The hook connection structure contains: a respective one hook including a connection portion which has an extension, an engagement section, a contact rib, and a stop tab. A respective one of two connection racks includes a slot formed on an elongated portion of the respective one connection rack, a notch defined on the slot, such that the stop tab of the extension of the respective hook abuts against the elongated portion of the respective one rack, the respective one hook is connected on a bottom of the respective one connection rack, and the fixing rod is mounted below the holding plate to hang objects.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding a breast compression paddle, includes a base, a lip connected to and extending substantially orthogonal from the base, an arm connected to and extending substantially orthogonal from the base and disposed substantially parallel to the lip, and a tine connected to and extending at an angle to the arm. The lip defines a lip plane, and the tine is oriented towards the lip plane. The apparatus is configured to hold and support a compression paddle.

Abstract: A floating shelf includes a plank shelf, and a floating shelf bracket, configured to support the plank shelf, including a support connector and two or more shelf supports attached to one another by the support connector. The support connector and the two or more shelf supports may be permanently attached to one another so that the floating shelf bracket is a unitary, single-piece bracket. The support connector and the two or more shelf supports may be removably attached to one another.

Abstract: A shelf for mounting to a wall without fasteners and for magnetically holding a candle comprises a shelf portion comprising a substantially planar upper surface configured for holding a candle, a first magnet at least partially embedded within the shelf portion, the first magnet configured to magnetically interact with a battery of the candle, a wall portion coupled to the shelf portion, the wall portion comprising a substantially planar surface configured for contacting a surface of a wall, and a second magnet at least partially embedded within the wall portion and configured to interact with a fastener behind the surface of the wall. Related candle holders and systems including fastenerless shelves for holding one or more candles are also disclosed.

Abstract: A storage system may be formed using an apparatus including a rigid bar and a bracket. The rigid bar has an elongate body having sufficient length to extend vertically along a wall from a foot engaging the floor to a second end positioned proximate to a ceiling directly above the floor. The bracket is securable to the ceiling and has a first end for engaging the rigid bar at a point proximate to the second end of the rigid bar, wherein the first end of the bracket limits movement of the second end of the rigid bar in a direction away from the wall. Optionally, a pair of the rigid bars may include shelf supports, tire lofts or other features for supporting items to be storage.

Abstract: A modular display can be assembled and disassembled by one person without any tools. The structural parts of the assembly include several types of interlocking pieces which form stable columns, and various bridging devices, including a bridge shelf removably secured by bridge brackets, that allow for slatwall or pegboard to be easily inserted to display a wide range of products that merchandise on slatwall, pegboard, shelves, tables and free-standing pedestals as well as garment poles. This display booth emulates a retail shopping experience where physical products are sold on varying display mediums. The parts fit to together by inserting hooked tabs into slots that fit the width of the tabs. Since all the parts are interchangeable, the system allows for multiple configurations, as well as easy expansion of the display booth by adding more parts.

Abstract: A mounting bracket having more desirable utility as compared to known embodiments includes a first flat surface for mounting to a box, shelf, or structure, and a second curved surface for mounting to the header of a railing or fence. The bracket can mount to multiple boxes, shelves, and structures, and does not require tools for installation to the railing or fence.

Abstract: A user may place an item at an inventory location in an incorrect location, such as the wrong lane on the shelf. An untidy score is generated that is indicative of whether an item is where it is supposed to be. A correct item verification (CIV) score is determined that is indicative of how similar the returned item is to the type of item that is supposed to be stored at that location. An invalid item recognition (IIR) score is determined that is indicative of similarity of the returned item to a set of items associated with the user, that set excluding the item that is supposed to be stored at that location. The CIV and the IIR are combined to generate an untidy score. Based on the untidy score, someone may be dispatched to clean up the inventory location.

Abstract: A method of detecting an edge of a support surface by an imaging controller includes: obtaining a plurality of depth measurements captured by a depth sensor and corresponding to an area containing the support surface; selecting, by the imaging controller, a candidate set of the depth measurements based on at least one of (i) an expected proximity of the edge of the support surface to the depth sensor, and (ii) an expected orientation of the edge of the support surface relative to the depth sensor; fitting, by the imaging controller, a guide element to the candidate set of depth measurements; and detecting, by the imaging controller, an output set of the depth measurements corresponding to the edge from the candidate set of depth measurements according to a proximity between each candidate depth measurement and the guide element.

Abstract: The system and method for recognizing and counting products within images is disclosed. The products are recognized by carrying out a nearest-neighbor search in the template feature space using a k-d tree and the product count is then obtained by using a maximum feature repeatability index for each identified feature. The system also obtains product arrangement by fitting bounding boxes around each identified product. The count of boxes thus obtained may also provide the exact number of discrete products visible in an image. A second stage of grid-based search is also carried out in the neighborhood of each detected product to detect new products that might have been missed out in the previous step. This detection is based on a confidence measure including information like histogram matching and spatial location of products. This system is also useful in verifying planogram compliance for a given product.

Abstract: Disclosed is a shower corner shelf installation tool that includes a first and second arm that are pivotally connected to one other and are configured to support a shower corner shelf thereon when the shower corner shelf installation tool is in use, the first and second arms each have an upper sidewall connected to a lower sidewall by an outer sidewall positioned there between; anchor members protruding from the outer side wall of each arm that are configured to grip a shower corner to temporarily affix the shower corner shelf installation tool thereto while in use; leveling members extending above the first and second arm that are independently configured to selectively adjust the shower corner shelf during installation; and a tensioning member configured to extend between the first and second arm and apply force to the first and second arms and anchor members while the shower corner shelf installation tool is in use to temporarily affix the shower corner shelf installation tool to shower corner.

Abstract: A weighing and labeling system has a scale, label printer, and at least one controller. The controller stores information about incoming food packages and drives the printer to produce labels based on the stored information and the weight of the food packages. The labels are transferred to the food packages.

Abstract: A system and method for processing an image of a retail shelf area. According to one aspect, a portion of an image that depicts the retail shelf area at an angled and depthwise perspective is determined to depict shelves. The image can be modified so that the portion of the image determined to depict shelves is substantially parallel to a predefined horizontal reference frame. Products can then be detected in the remainder portion of the image, separate from the portion of the image determined to depict shelves. An applicable planogram can be used to generate compliance information based on the detected products and the determined portion of the image depicting shelves.

Abstract: A shelf device facilitates access to electronic modules within an enclosure having multiple vertically stacked levels of module storage locations. A pair of support arms each have an attachment structure on a distal portion of the support arm that is designed to attach to a first one of the vertically stacked levels. A guide rail extends from the distal portion of the support arm toward a proximal portion of the support arm. A cross brace structure is configured to pivotally attach to distal portions of the pair of support arms and a proximal portion of a first one of the support arms. A pair of vertical braces are each configured to pivotally attach to a respective one of the pair of support arms and having a detachable connection structure that is designed to attach to a second one of the vertically stacked levels.

Abstract: A food shield has shield panels that are location adjustable and angularly adjustable in respect of support structures (posts) that are coupled to a mounting surface, such as a surface of a buffet table or cart. For vertical or location adjustment of a shield panel in relation to a post, a bracket assembly includes outer and inner collar portions, a grip element positioned between the outer and inner collar portions, and a tightening element that tightens the connection of the assembled collar against support posts. For angular adjustment, each bracket assembly includes an indexing base, a rotatable arm assembly with an indexing hub, and a removable or retractable coupling element.

Abstract: A wearable support belt is provided. The wearable support belt includes a support surface having a first end and a second end, the first end and the second end configured to fasten to each other, the support surface composed of a first material disposed over a second material. The wearable support belt includes a section coupling the first end and the second end, the section coupling the first end and the second end having a thickness and a height that is different than a thickness and a height of a front section of the structure. The wearable support belt includes a removable cover disposed around the support belt, the removable cover having an outer surface, the outer surface having a fastening mechanism affixed thereto, the fastening mechanism proximate to the first end and the second end.

Abstract: One embodiment of a corner shelf assembly having a shelf held securely in a horizontal position by a bracket or corner element, two support rails and two end caps. The shelf comprises a flat sheet with one corner clipped at its apex so that the shelf may be slid into a complementary slot in a bracket or corner element secured into a wall corner. The corner element is attached to two support rails held securely horizontal by the configuration of the corner piece. The support rails comprise a solid body with a narrow tongue protruding from it and running the length of the solid body. The tongues of the support rails are secured to walls having complementary openings and are further secured to the walls by fasteners. The shelf is rested upon the support rails and secured at its front by end caps that sandwich the shelf and the support rails, thus holding the shelf toward the corner and preventing it from tipping up or down. Other embodiments are described and shown.

Abstract: A corner shelf system may include a support assembly and a shelf. The support assembly may include at least two support members coupled at about a 90° angle. The support members may be coupled together by a ratchet mechanism. The about 90° angle at which the support members are coupled may be adjustable by way of the ratchet mechanism. At least two of the support members may each include a channel that slideably receives an edge of the shelf.

Abstract: A shelf-type display module includes a carrier tray assembly including a carrier tray having a top, a bottom, a plurality of tracks and at least one light. The plurality of tracks protrude from the top of the carrier tray and the at least one light is mounted to the bottom of the carrier tray. An insert tray includes a main body having components for holding products for display and components for mating with the plurality of tracks on the carrier tray. The components of the main body that mate with the plurality of tracks on the carrier tray slide along the plurality of tracks from a right side to a left side of the carrier tray or from the left side to the right side of the carrier tray.

Abstract: A wall mounted shelf system is disclosed. The system includes a wall bracket, a plurality of orifices in the wall bracket, each orifice for accepting a fastener, and a shelf removably coupled to the wall bracket. The shelf comprises: a) a planar surface sloped downwards towards the distal end, b) a first planar strip that extends downwards for attachment to the wall bracket; c) a protruding portion of the planar surface that protrudes upwards, d) a second planar strip located below the planar surface, wherein the second planar strip is oriented vertically for placement coplanar with the wall, and e) wherein the planar surface, the first and second planar strips and the protruding portion are integrally formed from a single piece of a material.

Abstract: A merchandise pusher tray is provided. The merchandise pusher tray includes a base structure. The base structure is configurable for bar or shelf mounting. The base structure includes a pair of load bearing members for supporting a floor of the base structure. The merchandise pusher tray also includes at least one divider mounted to and adjustable in a first direction relative to the base structure. The merchandise pusher tray also includes a pusher mounted to and movable in a second direction relative to the base structure. A locking arm is provided for locking the pusher in a locked position and automatically unlocking the pusher from the locked position upon the exertion of an actuation force against the locking arm.

Abstract: Brackets for shelving and related systems are provided herein. An example bracket for shelving includes a main body defining first and second lower support features each configured to receive a respective first and second piece of wood in a vertical orientation such that a top surface of the first piece of wood and a top surface of the second piece of wood align to form a lower shelf support surface for supporting a lower shelf. The main body further defines first and second upper support features each configured to receive a respective third and fourth piece of wood in a vertical orientation such that a top surface of the third piece of wood and a top surface of the fourth piece of wood align to form an upper shelf support surface for supporting an upper shelf. The main body may also define a decorative feature, such as a bear-shaped cutout.

Abstract: A tile-ready base includes a triangular top wall disposed in a horizontal plane when the base is secured to a corner. A first side wall depends from a first edge of the top wall and abuts a first vertical wall of a building. A second side wall depends from a second edge of the top wall and abuts a second vertical wall of the building. A front wall depends from a front edge of the triangular top wall and interconnects respective forward ends of the first and second side walls. Structural support ribs underlie the top wall and enhance the structural integrity of the base. Concavities are formed in the top wall in close proximity to the first and second side walls. Each concavity receives a screw and facilitates attachment of the base to the corner. The base is installed and tiled with no delay between installation and tiling.

A portion of the back panel forms a hook configured for engagement with one of the pockets.

Abstract: A grab handle mechanism includes a rotatable shelf so that when the grab bar is not used by a person who needs assistance walking it can be rolled on top of the bar camouflaging the bar and can be used for shelving. In addition the shelf can be rotated from a first position above the grab bar where it is disposed in a horizontal plane and camouflages the grab bar to a second position below the grab bar where the shelf is again disposed in a horizontal plane so the grab bar can be used by a person requiring its use for assistance. The shelves can be glass or plastic or other material. In an alternate embodiment instead of a shelf, a basket with a latched lid can be used so that when turned below the bar for use of the bar the contents of the basket do not spill out.

Abstract: A corner shelf system may include a support assembly and a shelf. The support assembly may include at least two support members coupled at about a 90° angle. Abstract: An apparatus and system to removably install, or replace, an awning panel. The awning panel is mounted on a wall or structure or similar vertical surface by insertion into a pair of mounting brackets that have been affixed to the wall. The mounting brackets may be mounted at any distance apart, and thus may accommodate awnings of different sizes. The mounting brackets comprise a right and left bracket, each comprising an angled support art, a holding member, a vertical support member, and a top support member. Supporting members along the sides of the awning panel slide into the space or slot formed by the angled support arm and the holding piece, and is further supported by the angled support arm extending along the underside of the supporting members. The angled support arm may be fixed at a set angle, or may be adjusted to different angles. A cover panel may be used to shield the awning panel, with the cover panel mounted on separate brackets or on the same brackets with the awning panel.

Abstract: Provided is a wall assembly for goods display constituted by horizontal tracks fixed to a wall body and disposed in a lateral direction at equal intervals, vertical posts disposed on the horizontal tracks and disposed in a vertical direction at equal intervals, an interval adjustment unit configured to couple the vertical post with respect to the horizontal track to adjust an interval, an insert member inserted into the vertical post in the vertical direction, and an outer panel coupled to the vertical post. Accordingly, even when flatness of the wall body is bad, the wall assembly can be instructed and the flatness of the panel after construction can be appropriately maintained so that an appearance of a wall surface can be excellently finished. In addition, since removal and exchange of only a damaged panel are easy when the outer panel is damaged, construction and exchange can be easily performed.

Abstract: A method and system of securing an object on a wall is disclosed. The method and system allows for easily hanging a plurality of different sized items, at a specific height. The method and system utilizes a wall mounted hanger that comprises a base with a pin extending outwardly and downwardly from the back, and a shelf or other object secured to the front. Further, the orthogonal distance from the base to the shelf determines the positions of the pin, and a user inserts the pins in the base based on this measured distance. Then, the user fully inserts the pins into the wall such that the base is flush against the wall. As downward force and force against the wall is increased, the base is forced more tightly against the wall, thereby negating any potential failure of the base attachment to the wall and also negating any wall damage.

Abstract: A shelf apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention includes first and second upstanding posts each having a plurality of horizontally-extending grooves in an external surface thereof, the grooves spaced vertically from one another. First and second shelf support clamps are supported by the first and second posts, respectively. The clamps each have a clamp body received only partially about its corresponding post, and the clamps each include a horizontally-extending protuberance such as a rib received in one of the grooves of its respective post. The apparatus further includes first and second shelf brackets supported by the first and second clamps, respectively, and a shelf supported by the first and second shelf brackets.

Abstract: A wall mounted storage system has a track, a plurality of vertical panels, a plurality of plugs and a plurality of shelves. The track is mounted to a wall for supporting the vertical panels. The shelves and panels form compartments. Each vertical panel has a cut out which matches the configuration of the track. The cut out has a front radiused section and a rear flat section. The track has a corresponding front radiused edge and rear seat. The cut out mates with the track at the radiused and flat sections. An opening is provided between the bottom of the track and the bottom of the cut out. The plug fits within this opening to prevent the vertical panel from separating from the track after the panel is attached to the track. The front bottom edges of the vertical panels are protected by bottom protectors.

Abstract: A shelving system includes a frame including a pair of spaced apart riser members and at least one shelf extending between the riser members. The at least one shelf is adhesively bonded to the riser members. The at least one shelf may be substantially L-shaped and may include a first surface extending outwards from the riser members and a second surface angled with respect to the first surface and bonded to the riser members.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include a folding shelf intended for attachment to a door having a mail slot. The shelf is pivotably attached below the mail slot by a support and moved from its storage position to its operative position by a chain attached to the door by a fastener. The chain is attached to the shelf near that part of the shelf that is distal from the door. Using embodiments of the present invention, items inserted through the door are retained on the shelf rather than fall to the floor, and the door remains functional when the shelf is in the operative position.

Abstract: A slatwall panel comprises a backboard and a slatwall channel attached to the backboard. The slatwall channel includes a longitudinal horizontal slot, and opposing longitudinal first and second grooves parallel to the slot. First and second substrates include edge portions disposed in the first and second grooves, respectively. The slot includes a rear wall, a bottom wall and a top wall forming a U-shaped groove. The bottom wall is slanted downwardly toward the rear wall; and the U-shaped groove is configured to receive a shelf wherein the top wall provides a stop to a top rear portion of the shelf and a front portion of the bottom wall provides support to a bottom rear portion of the shelf.

Abstract: In one aspect, a storage system is disclosed. The storage system may include a base having a lower or accessory portion and an upper portion, wherein the lower portion has at least one lower projection extending outward from a front surface and wherein the upper portion has at least two upper projections extending outward from the front surface and spaced from the lower projection. The system may also include at least one accessory configured to engage the lower portion. The system further may include at least one shelf or cover configured to engage the two upper projections. In a further aspect, another storage system is disclosed, wherein the storage system may include a base having an upper ledge portion, wherein a portion of the upper ledge portion is spaced a predetermined distance from a wall. The base further may include a lower portion and an accessory portion between the upper ledge portion and the lower portion.

Abstract: Containers are mounted in rows on a display rack having shelves inclined upwardly so that articles on the shelf tend to slide forwardly. The containers arranged in rows located side by side across the width of the shelf are formed of board or as transparent plastic jars. Each container has a base on the shelf, upstanding front and rear walls and upstanding side walls with the front and rear walls inclined at a wall angle to a plane at right angles to the base the base so that with the base sitting on the inclined shelf the front and rear walls stand substantially upright. The front wall is higher than the rear wall to provide an exposed strip of each container of the row so that all strips can be seen in front elevation. The strip can be marked with a bar code.

Abstract: Support systems for supporting useful articles such as shelves, racks, bars or hooks include a support structure that can be attached to the article. The support structure defines a shaped channel, and an insert component of the system is receivable within the channel and has an exterior surface shaped to correspond to the shaped channel. The shaped channel can define one or multiple grooves, and the insert component can have one or multiple ribs that cooperate with the grooves to stabilize the insert component/support structure combination. The insert component can include at least one displaceable rib element for cooperating with a groove of the support structure.

Abstract: A quick attachment bracket that permits a tool holder to be quickly secured to the sidewall of a cart is disclosed. The bracket snaps onto the cart and locks the tool holder in position without the use of any mechanical devices.

Abstract: A flexible and adjustable storage system for inside a Sea-Land shipping container provides at least two hangers, each hanger having a releasable anchor for attachment to a lashing ring, a flexible member of a vertical support depending from the releasable anchor, at least one rigid horizontal support member having a first end portion and a spaced apart second end portion, each end portion carrying an adjustable fastener for adjustable attachments to the flexible member for vertical support.

Abstract: A caddy for use in bathrooms is disclosed. The caddy can include removable shelf assemblies and/or accessory units for holding common household items. The removable shelf accessories can include knobs which can be turned to secure and free the shelf assemblies from a support member of the caddy. The accessory units can snap into place on the support member. The support member can include a telescoping section and biasing element which permits the caddy to adjust to different sized bathrooms. A sliding member can be incorporated to provide additional areas for attachment of shelf assemblies or accessory units.

Abstract: An apparatus and system to removably install, or replace, an awning panel. The awning panel is mounted on a wall or structure or similar vertical surface by insertion into a pair of mounting brackets that have been affixed to the wall. Abstract: A wall mounted shelving system is provided. The system includes a support rail mountable on a wall and having a notch on a wall-facing surface thereof. At least one support member is mountable on the rail and defines an end portion for abutting the wall and further defines a recess having a rail receiving portion and a bracket receiving portion. The bracket receiving portion includes a slot with a notch formed at an end thereof. A bracket is configured to extend from the rail through the slot of the bracket receiving portion and has a first flange on a first end thereof for engaging the notch of the bracket receiving portion and a second flange on a second end thereof for engaging the notch of the support rail.

Abstract: A shelving system may comprise a pair of support brackets and a shelf platform supportable by the brackets. The platform includes a supporting portion, a rear flange on the supporting portion, and a front flange on the supporting portion. The shelf platform may be configured to be supported by the support brackets when a portion of the brackets extend upwardly from the platform and when a portion of the brackets extend downwardly from the platform. Optionally, a work platform is pivotable between usage and storage positions, and the brackets are pivotable between a deployed position supporting the platform in the usage position and a storage position allowing the platform to move to the storage position. Optionally, a mounting rail and at least one hook removably mountable on the rail may be provided. The hook may have a stabilizer tab that stabilizes the hook with respect to the rail.

Abstract: A method and system of securing an object on a wall is disclosed. The method and system allows for easily hanging a plurality of different sized items, at a specific height. The method and system utilizes a wall mounted hanger that comprises a base with a pin extending outwardly and downwardly from the back, and a shelf or other object secured to the front. Further, the orthogonal distance from the base to the shelf determines the positions of the pin, and a user inserts the pins in the base based on this measured distance. Abstract: A unique beverage holder is adapted to be mounted on a vertical wall surface, and includes a cantilevered beverage holder platform and an advertising display, preferably including a slot or other arrangement for receiving an advertising media and an outwardly facing window for viewing the advertisement. The device is preferably installed in bathrooms, and the like, such as above urinals to provide bathroom users with a place to set their beverage, and at the same time attracting attention to the advertisement while the user is captive. In one embodiment, the beverage holder is adapted to be reversibly mounted on a wall bracket such that the shelf unit may alternately be at the top or bottom of the device. Abstract: A temporary shelf system for supporting a load along a wall having overlapping horizontal rows of siding members. The shelf system comprises a pair of shelf jigs, and each shelf jig comprises a planar main body which has at least an upper portion and front and rear faces, a planar support plate fixedly supported by the main body and extending approximately normal to the front face of the main body, and a retention spring extending from the main body substantially parallel to the support plate. A portion of the retention spring is spaced from the support plate so as to apply a clamping force to a shelf board when the shelf board is located between the retention spring and the top surface of the support plate and facilitate retention of the to the shelf board.
