Patent number: 10350437Abstract: X-ray delivery system includes a portable base unit to which a first end of a robotic arm is mounted. An X-ray treatment head is disposed on a second end of the robotic arm. The X-ray treatment head includes an X-ray component configured to generate therapeutic radiation in the X-ray wavelength range. A calibration well is disposed at a predetermined location in the portable base unit. The calibration well is comprised of a recess into which the X-ray treatment head can be received and having at least one port through which the X ray treatment head can be inserted by the robotic arm for calibration operations. The calibration well includes a plurality of X-ray radiation sensing elements disposed at distributed locations around a periphery of the calibration well.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2018Date of Patent: July 16, 2019Assignee: Sensus Healthcare, Inc.Inventor: Kalman Fishman

Patent number: 5137161Abstract: A boom support assembly for an earth working machine, which includes a winch, a pair of tension members and a pendant pin link interposed between tension members. The first tension member is a boom support pendant secured to a boom point of a boom and the first end of the pendant pin link. The second tension member is a boom raising rope which is received over a plurality of gantry sheaves mounted on the top portion of a gantry structure and attached to the winch at one end and attached to the second end of the pendant pin link. The gantry sheaves are mounted on an alignment apparatus that has a sheave shaft mounted in an eccentric bore of a pair of cartridges rotatable in the top portion of the gantry structure. This alignment apparatus insures the proper positioning of a through bore of the pendant pin link between support openings in the top portion of the gantry.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 1990Date of Patent: August 11, 1992Assignee: Dresser Industries, Inc.Inventor: Vance D. Patent number: 4579504Abstract: A crane is disclosed for use with a lifting device such as a fork lift. The crane includes a crane base which is adapted to be secured to the forks of the fork lift, and an inclined crane boom which is rigidly secured to the crane base. The upper end of the crane boom defines a guide such as a pulley, and a cable such as a chain is positioned over this guide. One end of the cable is fixedly mounted to the lower end of the mast of the fork lift, and the other end of the cable is secured to a lifting hook. This arrangement provides the important advantage that the separation between the hook and the pulley decreases as the crane is elevated by the fork lift. For this reason, the lifting height capacity of the crane is greater than the lifting height capacity of the fork lift, while the effective length of the cable remains constant. In this way, the cost and complexity of winches is avoided.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 1985Date of Patent: April 1, 1986Inventors: Daniel C. Lemme, Tracy R. Lemme, Charles D. Lemme

Patent number: 4515694Abstract: A lifting mechanism for a rake arm and rake structure employed to move sediments settling out from a solids-liquid slurry in a sedimentation tank, includes a fixed center column (27) in the tank and a concentric movable column (28) in telescoping relation to the fixed column. A first series of sheave assemblies (40) are attached to or fixed with respect to the fixed column and a second series of sheave assemblies (51-55) attached to the movable column at a vertically displaced distance from the first series. The respective sheave assemblies may extend in part in an annulus (34) between the fixed and movable columns and are positioned around the peripheries of the respective columns. A continuous cable (45) extends alternately between individual sheaves in each series and the ends of the cable are attached to a vertical take-up drum (38).Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 1983Date of Patent: May 7, 1985Assignee: Envirotech CorporationInventors: Ralph B.
