Abstract: The methodology and advantages that are provided in the present invention are intended to provide assistance to fire fighters and other emergency care-givers with life saving tools during fires and other smoke related emergencies that render fire and smoke victims helpless and trapped inside of high-rise buildings. The exterior fire resistance elevator system, having several specialized component devices that are adapted for lifting and rotating the elevator in a vertical and horizontal directions. The elevator is also capable of moving in tandem in a vertical and horizontally direction as directed by an elevator operator or by an operator having location in a central station that is at ground level or near the building.
