Automatic Stop Patents (Class 212/86)
  • Patent number: 9048275
Abstract: In a transport system, a positioning hole is provided in an undersurface of a container. A positioning protrusion corresponding to the positioning hole of the container is provided on a first load port of a manufacturing device. When a transport vehicle places the container onto the first load port, the placement position of the container is established by having the positioning protrusion of the first load port fit into the positioning hole. A second load port different from the first load port of the manufacturing device is provided on a storage device. A positioning protrusion is not provided on the second load port. A slip prevention member is provided on an upper surface of the second load port.

  • Patent number: 8736459
Abstract: A control system and a method for a back-and-forth cable system is provided. The cable system includes a running cable, a first pulley and a second pulley, the pulleys being located at both ends of a course for guiding the running cable. A controllable motor assembly drives of the pulleys and a carrier is connected to the running cable, for pulling or towing a boarder. The control system includes first and second tracking devices to generate first and second tracking signal indicative of the rotation of the pulleys. Two limit positions along the course are stored in storing means and a controller has inputs to receive the first and the second tracking signals and inverts rotation of the controllable motor assembly when the two positions of the carrier detected go beyond either one of the two limit positions.

  • Patent number: 7883450
Abstract: A body-weight support system that allows individuals with severe gait impairments to practice over-ground walking in a safe, controlled manner is disclosed. The system includes a body-weight support system that rides along a driven trolley and can be controlled in response to the movement of the subject using the system.

  • Patent number: 7206662
Abstract: A crane installation, especially a container crane, includes at least one hoist mechanism provided with at least one motor for lifting and lowering a load suspended from the hoist mechanism. The operation of the hoist mechanism is controlled by a control unit which receives load-specific information signals from a device. The load-specific information signals are determined on the basis of load-dependent measuring signals generated by a load measuring assembly associated with the hoist mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6092678
Abstract: In an overhead hoist transfer having a moving carriage with a hand portion, which holds a load, elevatably suspended therefrom; and a means for teaching an appointed stop position on a placement base, on which said load is placed, to said moving carriage, LEDs 7a and 7b are installed at the hand portion 6, and a position detecting portion 12 consisting of a lens 12a and PSD 12b is installed at the placement base 53 side, in order to automatically and accurately enable a teaching of position correcting data in a short time without use of any manpower.

  • Patent number: 5790407
Abstract: A time-based control system (10) for controlling a process incorporating external devices using a predefined response profile (13). The response profile (13) is continuously compared to the actual response of the controlled device (11). A plurality of sensor modules (24) is used to monitor the actual magnitude and direction of change of selected quantities during the process. If the response it outside the user-defined maximum allowable error, appropriate measures are taken to either correct the error, halt the process, or proceed with the process in a time-based mode. The proper response and detection of errors of the controlled device (11) is independent of load, rate, temperature and other external stimuli. The time-based control system (10) can detect errors caused by higher level equipment such as the sensor modules (24). Thus, the time-based control system (10) can detect when any portion of the time-based control system (10) or the controlled device (11) malfunctions.

  • Patent number: 4074891
Abstract: A winding mechanism-drive, particularly for construction cranes or the like hoisting devices, including a normal three-phase current-electromotor, a hydrostatic transmission with electronic-hydraulic servo-regulation for the continuous infinite variations of the feeding-speeds and -moments, the motor part of which is operatively connected with a cable drum preferably via a mechanical reduction transmission, as well a spring force-actuated locking brake for the cable drum automatically electro-hydraulically releasing in the balanced condition between load moment and drive moment.

  • Patent number: 4067447
Abstract: An anti-two block system adapted to be used with a crane having a sensor device mounted with the boom point of the crane in communication with a hoisting actuator mechanism such that the sensor device effects movement of the hoisting lever of the crane to discontinue the lifting force exerted on the lifting line when the travelling member engages the sensor device.

  • Patent number: 4053999
Abstract: A time saving automatic hydraulic control for that sequence in operations in which a grab excursioning out of sight of the operator, is sequentially lowered open to engage work material, closed to pick up a load, and then hoisted with its load and emptied. A logic circuit is activated to stop the lowering within an adjustable timed period after initial work engagement to provide desired penetration of the work material by the grab followed by a minimal time for grab closing to provide an adjustable constancy of loads and a positive sequential control for the lowering and hoisting modes.
