With Yokes Patents (Class 213/47)
  • Patent number: 10189488
Abstract: A draft gear assembly for use with railcars having coupler members is provided. The draft gear assembly has front and back ends and comprises a yoke, a coupler follower, a front resilient member, an intermediate stop member, and a back resilient member. The yoke has a back wall, a top wall extending from the back wall toward the front end of the draft gear assembly, and a bottom wall extending from the back wall toward the front end of the draft gear assembly. The coupler follower is positioned between the butt end of the coupler shank and the front end of the draft gear assembly. The front resilient member is positioned between the coupler follower and the intermediate stop member. The back resilient member is positioned between the intermediate stop member and the yoke back wall. The front and back resilient members are compressible.

  • Patent number: 7066344
Abstract: A mask film includes a base material, a parting layer and a non-parting portion placed on the base material. Accordingly, an optimum adhesion strength of the mask film and a prepreg sheet can be maintained, and peeling between the mask film and prepreg sheet can be prevented. Further, by preventing the fusing adhesion between the mask film and prepreg sheet due to heat generated when forming penetration holes, a circuit board having an excellent quality is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5593051
Abstract: A railroad car coupling mechanism is described as having a yoke which is disposed within, I) a carsill which is attached to the underside of a railroad car adjacent each of the opposing ends of the car, and II) a striker which is secured to the subsill and railroad car. The striker and carsill carry front and rear stops between which the yoke extends and engages the front stops. At least one resilient load cushing device is disposed between the straps of the yoke for cushioning loads impacting the car coupling mechanism. At least one wedging device is disposed within the yoke straps, in tandem, with the load cushioning device, for taking up any slack which develops from worn parts within the yoke. At least one wedging mechanism is disposed outside the yoke between the back end of the yoke and the rear stops to, likewise, take up slack and insure that the yoke remains firmly, in place, between the front and rear stops.

  • Patent number: 4506868
Abstract: Herein disclosed is a shock absorber which is to be used with a vehicular coupler. The shock absorber includes a shock absorbing frame which has a pair of shoulders. Further inclusive are a pair of follower plates which are adapted to be held to abut against the shoulders of the shock absorbing frame. A main elastic member is clamped under compression between the paired follower plates. A pair of auxiliary elastic members are also clamped under compression, respectively, between the shock absorbing frame and those faces of the follower plates, which are opposite to the faces contacting with the main elastic member. The initial pressure applied to the main elastic member is balanced by the initial pressures to the auxiliary elastic members. Thus, the paired follower plates can take their neutral positions without being forced onto the shoulders of the shock absorbing frame.
