  • Patent number: 10913579
Abstract: A closure for a container neck comprises a shell and a fitment. The fitment comprises a body and engagement means that extend radially outwardly from the body and releasably retain the fitment within the shell. During application of the closure to the container neck, the engagement means is forced from an extended condition into a retracted condition to release the fitment from the shell, and the fitment is inserted into the container neck into an operative position.

  • Patent number: 9299831
Abstract: A field effect transistor and a semiconductor device are provided which enable a drain breakdown voltage in an off state and a drain breakdown voltage in an on state to be improved respectively. There are provided therein a field oxide film disposed on an N-type drift region positioned between a channel region of a silicon substrate and an N-type drain, an N-type drift layer disposed beneath the drift region of the silicon substrate and the drain, and an embedded layer higher in P-type impurity concentration than the silicon substrate. The embedded layer is disposed beneath the drift layer except for below at least a portion of the drain in the silicon substrate.

  • Patent number: 8616392
Abstract: Anti-filling device to be attached to the neck of a bottle to be closed by a sealing cap, including attachment means for attachment to the bottleneck, a chamber including a lower lip surrounding a lower orifice and confining a moveable part which forms a valve in conjunction with the lower lip, and an axial distribution duct. The device further includes a moveable axial rod, secured to the anti-filling device, the axial movement of which relative to the device is limited between a low position and a high position, and at least one stopper which is in engagement with the moveable axial rod such that, when the moveable axial rod is located in the low position, the stopper shuts an orifice which is arranged in the chamber. The low position is imposed by a projection attached to the cap, which comes into contact with the moveable axial rod when the cap is attached to the bottleneck.

  • Patent number: 6481601
Abstract: An insert is positioned in an opening in a fluid container and between a closure member and the fluid container. The insert generally includes a funnel and an obstructive member disposed therewithin. The insert inhibits evaporative emissions from the fluid container by seating against a conical body portion of the funnel when the fluid container is in an upright or storage position. When the fluid container is in a tilted or use position, the obstructive member locates to an outlet end of the funnel to create a passage from an inlet end of the funnel to the outlet end.

  • Patent number: 5971179
Abstract: The invention relates to a non-refilling device for insertion in the neck portion (3) of a container for liquids for example, fine spirits, the device comprising a sleeve member (4) adapted to be a secure fit within the neck portion (3), a one-way valve arrangement (6, 8), a pouring member (10) and a closure member (16, 20). While the device is being applied to the neck portion of the filled container, all the above components are maintained in an assembled condition by engagable members (28, 32) on the closure member (16) and the pouring member (10). When the container is opened normally, the action of unscrewing the closure member (16, 20) is adequate to overcome the action of the engagable members (28, 32) so that the container may be opened and resealed in a conventional manner.

  • Patent number: 5548258
Abstract: A circuit breaker with an insulation device is formed of a molded case having side walls to form a chamber, a stationary contact member situated in the chamber and fixed on the molded case, a moving contact member movably connected to the molded case, a U-shaped magnetic driving core attached to the stationary contact member and having a pair of arms projecting outwardly from the stationary contact member, and an insulation cover. The side walls has slots therein, and the arms are situated inside the slots so that the outer surfaces of the arms are covered by the side walls of the molded case. The insulation cover has arm-shaped and board-shaped parts and is attached onto the outer surface of the stationary contact member. The board-shaped part covers the outer surface of the stationary contact member except the contact point, and the arm-shaped parts covers the inner surfaces of the arms of the magnetic driving core so that the inner and outer surfaces of the magnetic driving core are completely covered.

  • Patent number: 4067472
Abstract: A combined anti-refilling and pouring device for use in association with a bottle incorporates a tubular casing having at one end a tubular extension formed with inwardly directed radial fins and an annular flange presenting a center hole projecting inwardly beyond the fins at the outer end of the extension. A ring member having radially disposed fins extending axially from one end face of the ring is located within the tubular casing with the fins on the ring member terminating close to the fins in the tubular extension. A movable valve member is trapped within the axial passage defined by the tips of the radial fins in the tubular extension between the fins on the ring member and the annular flange, the valve member being free to engage the center hole and close it, and a ring of deformable material having a maximum diameter greater than the internal diameter of the neck of a bottle into which the device is to be fitted encircles the tubular casing.
