Axially Movable Closure Removal Obstacle Or Obstacle Portion Patents (Class 215/220)
  • Patent number: 11498731
Abstract: A tamper-evident closure for a container with an outer screw thread opening, including an outer cap with a first sidewall and a first top wall and an inner cap with a second sidewall and a second top wall. The inner cap is coaxially nested within the outer cap and has an inner thread. The outer and inner cap have cooperating engagement mechanisms arranged and shaped so when opening the closure for the first time, the inner cap is rotated by the outer cap. The first top wall has a tamper-evident member which is connected to a surrounding region of the first top wall by a frangible component. A protruding element, arranged for breaking the frangible component, is arranged at the first top wall facing the second top wall and/or the second top wall facing the first top wall so as to face the tamper-evident member.

Abstract: A pharmacy container comprises a bottle and a ring. The bottle includes a body defining a storage chamber, a neck extending away from the body and defining an opening opposite and providing access to the body, and a pair of opposed ledges each extending radially outwardly from the neck and spaced from the body. The neck includes threads extending around an outside surface of the neck, and the pair of opposed ledges are positioned between the body and the threads. The ring defines an interior wall, an exterior wall, and a pair of opposed indentations radially extending through the interior wall toward the exterior wall. The ring is positioned around the neck with the pair of opposed indentations positioned adjacent the pair of opposed ledges such that interaction between the pair of opposed indentations and the pair of opposed ledges maintains the ring in position relative to the bottle.

  • Patent number: 8459478
Abstract: The self-opening closure includes a pouring spout (10), which can be assembled leak-proof on a combipack or a container spout sealed with foil material, twist cap (9) and a self-opening sleeve (1) arranged inside the pouring spout, which can be made to rotate by the twist cap. The self-opening sleeve forms on its upper edge an indentation (4), which becomes smaller towards the bottom edge (6) and tapers off into the same. There are guiding means present on the outer side of the self-opening sleeve and on the inner side of the pouring spout so that the self-opening sleeve is guided downwards by rotation on the pouring spout. The indentation (4) lies partially inside the pouring spout and partially below the same after unscrewing of the cover cap and forms an air inlet channel, which results in a steady outpour of the liquid content of a combipack.

Abstract: An improved closure for a container. The container includes a lip having a plurality of downwardly extending angled surfaces, each terminating in a recess, and a shoulder which defines an open top of the container. The closure includes a plurality of lugs which are configured to engage the angled surfaces when the closure is rotated and mate with the recesses to secure the closure in place. To secure the tabs in the recesses, the closure includes one or more springs which extend downwardly from the top of the closure and contact the shoulder of the container to urge the closure upwardly with respect to the container. To separate the closure and the container, the closure is pressed toward the open top of the container, thereby disengaging the lugs from the recesses and allowing the rotation of the closure to disengage the closure from the container.
