Abstract: A bottle closure and opener device for use on a wine bottle including a sleeve having a top side, a bottom side, an outer surface, and an inner surface, the top side having a first opening, the bottom side having a second opening, and the inner surface including inner threads, wherein the internal threads are configured to mate with external threads on a top portion of the wine bottle. A cork having an upper portion positioned within the first opening of the sleeve and extending above the bottle top and a lower portion of the cork positioned within the wine bottle's neck opening to seal a liquid within the wine bottle and to seal oxygen from entering the bottle. During operation, the cork and sleeve combination are configured to be removed from the wine bottle's opening via unscrewing the sleeve from the top portion of the wine bottle.

Abstract: A container closure. The closure comprises a pressure closure assembly and an outer release shell configured to be coupled thereto. The assembly comprises a relief valve and an inner shell having a base wall, a pressure relief slot, and an outer skirt extending away from the base wall and including first and second portions. The release shell includes a first portion having a base wall configured to overlap a portion of the inner shell base wall, and a tab corresponding to the slot of the inner shell. The first portion further includes an outer skirt extending away from the first portion base wall and configured to wrap around the first portion of the outer skirt. The release shell further includes a second portion having a base wall configured to overlap a portion of the inner shell base wall, and an outer skirt extending away from the second portion base wall.

Abstract: A closing element, among a cover and a ring, for a container for a cosmetic product includes a wall having at least one metallic and elastically deformable connection region, the at least one connection region being partially detached from the rest of the wall. The at least one connection region being adapted to cooperate with another closing element, among the ring and the cover, by elastic deformation so as to removably assemble the two closing elements with each other. A closing assembly for a cosmetic product container is also presented.

Abstract: The invention provides a detection device, comprising a fluid sample collecting chamber, the collecting chamber including an opening, a testing element is arranged in the collecting chamber, and the testing element is used to test the presence of the analyzed substance in the fluid sample; the detection device further comprises a cover body used to close the opening of the collecting chamber; wherein the cover body includes an elastic card used to engage the opening of the collecting chamber, when the cover body closes the opening of the collecting chamber, the elastic card engages the outer wall of the opening of the collecting chamber, thereby fixing the cover body on the collecting chamber.

Abstract: A locking top for blocking a stopper in the neck of a vessel comprises an outer body and a cage that is configured to fit into and lock axially in the outer body. The cage comprises an upper ring, a plurality n of branches connected to the upper ring, n/2 median bridges and n/2 lower bridges arranged in alternation on the periphery of the cage, each connecting together two adjacent branches. When the top is in an intermediate holding position in which the stopper is partially pushed into the neck, the lower bridges surround, at least in part, a collar of the neck; the median bridges located, in an axial direction, between the upper ring and the lower bridges are designed to form an open space between them and the collar.

Abstract: A vial stopper for closure of a lyophilization vial is disclosed. The vial stopper has a stopper body comprising a first circumferential sealing surface for hermetically sealing against an interior surface of a mouth of the vial in a first position of the vial stopper. The stopper body further comprises a second circumferential sealing surface for hermetically sealing against the interior surface of the mouth of the vial in a second position of the vial stopper. The second sealing surface is spaced apart from the first sealing surface in an axial direction of the stopper body. The stopper body further comprises an intermediate region in between the first and second sealing surfaces, the intermediate region having at least one venting element for venting an interior of the vial in at least one intermediate position of the stopper in between the first and second positions.

Abstract: A fastening system for fastening a distribution member, such as a pump, on a neck of a reservoir to form a distributor for a fluid product includes a fastening ring and a rigid collar, the ring including a skirt intended to be engaged around the neck. The skirt includes articulated fastening tabs angled outwards with respect to a central axis X of the ring, and the collar is able to be moved with respect to the skirt and engaged around the skirt so as to fold back the articulated tabs to a radial alignment with the axis X.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a lid component for use with a jar and a band. The jar and band may be a mason jar and a band for a mason jar. The lid component is made of an air-impermeable material and is dimensioned and configured to be releasably attachable to the jar by the band and to seal a wide mouth opening of the jar in an air-tight manner. The lid component comprises a one-way valve adapted to allow gas to escape from the jar while, at the same time, prevent air from entering the jar, when the lid component is releasably attached to the jar. The one-way valve comprises a bottom opening and a protruding top wall. The lid component further comprises a sealing wall that extends radially outwardly from the bottom opening. The sealing wall is substantially flat.

Abstract: The invention relates to a safety assembly having—an attachment ring attached to the tip of the container and—a safety device covering at least the distal end of the needle, the safety device attached to the attachment ring. The attachment ring has an inner ring having an inner face provided with a snap feature, which engages a complementary snap feature on the tip of the container to prevent axial movement of the inner ring with respect to the container. The snap feature moves radially to engage the complementary snap feature on the tip of the container; and an outer ring is fixed on the inner ring, with a sleeve portion surrounding at least a portion of the inner ring to prevent radial movement of the snap feature once the snap feature has engaged the complementary snap feature on the tip of the container.

The base is coupled to the top, wherein the top is moveable relative to the base. The base includes a central hub defining a cam path. The follower includes a plurality of top follower teeth engaged with the plurality of top teeth of the top and a plurality of base follower teeth disposed in the cam path of the base. The top and the follower are biased away from the base, and depressing the top relative to the base causes the follower to rotate relative to the top between an open position in which a fluid flow path is open to the fluid orifice and a closed position in which the fluid flow path is closed to the fluid orifice.

Abstract: The cover is made with two parts that close on each other over a cap on a drug product bottle. Each cover part has a semi-cylindrical periphery, a semi-circular lid and a radially inwardly directed ledge along a bottom edge of the semi-cylindrical periphery to fit under the cap of a bottle in a closed position. The cover parts snap together to lock in place. In one embodiment, the cover cooperates with a handle assembly having a handle of U-shape that is disposed over the cover to prevent separation of the two parts from each other.

Abstract: An apparatus for vacuum-sealing a lid onto a jar includes a cap skirt joined to a cap. The cap and cap skirt are formed with internal threads for engaging corresponding external threads on the jar. A lid for the jar placed against the lid press will be drawn against the rim of the jar after air is pumped out of the jar through the cap. An airtight seal is established between the lid and the rim of the jar when air at normal atmospheric pressure enters the vacuum port, the pressure difference between the outside and inside of the jar forcing the lid onto the jar rim and sealing the jar. A prying plate positioned on the top of the cap permits removal of the lid without deforming the lid beyond its elastic limit, enabling lids to be removed and re-sealed against the jar.

The neck's top side includes a first top side formed by the neck tubular section, and a second top side formed by the flange that is the same height level with the first top side and increases an area of the top side. The neck tubular section has a uniform thickness at an area immediately below the flange and an area where the engagement section is formed. A thickness of the flange is smaller than that of the neck tubular section, and the neck has been crystallized.

Abstract: Liquid drug transfer devices including an integral telescopic vial adapter for telescoping from an initial pre-compacted state to a final compacted state. In the initial pre-compacted state, the vial adapter telescopically snap fits on an initially non-punctured intact discrete injection vial leaving its injection vial stopper non-punctured. In the final compacted state, the vial adapter punctures the injection vial stopper. The liquid drug transfer device is used with an intact discrete injection vial release tool for applying a pincers-like compression for convenient release of a non-punctured intact discrete injection vial in the initial pre-compacted state. The vial adapter includes a clamping arrangement for irreversibly clamping same in the final compacted state. The vial adapter precludes release of a punctured discrete injection vial in its final compacted state.

A removable plug is shaped to fit within the recessed area of the lid. The container body and lid, with the removable plug fit within the lid, and form an airtight chamber within. A botanical sample may be visualized through the lens.

Abstract: A combined wine glass and wine bottle package includes a wine glass constructed from molded plastic with an upper shell-shaped body defining an upwardly narrowing tapered flume of generally uniform thickness and a contoured lower base defining an annular moat surrounding a central punt. A wine bottle is sized to fit substantially into the wine glass in an inverted orientation with a removable bottle cap nested within the central punt, and with an upper rim of the wine bottle snap-fitted into a shallow groove formed in the wine bottle near a lower end thereof. This entire package is sterile-wrapped in a sealed shrink-wrap plastic or the like. The package can be opened when desired to permit removal of the wine bottle from the wine glass, following by bottle opening and pouring of the contents into the wine glass.

The middle second portion includes a relatively thinner break point in the sidewall to facilitate collapsing. It is this variation in rigidity and integrity of the sidewalls that allows the segmented collapsible container to collapse. The segmented collapsible container includes an airtight seal formed in the first portion that restricts fluids, such as but not limited to, air from entering or leaving the segmented collapsible container. The segmented collapsible container may more easily return to its original shape after collapsing. This facilitates cleaning and reusability of the container.

Abstract: A child-resistant lift-top container is disclosed. The container includes a vessel, a lift-off inner cap and an outer locking cap. The outer locking cap engages the lift-off inner cap and is rotatable about the inner cap. The vessel includes a generally downwardly-facing abutment that engages an upwardly-facing abutment on the locking cap to lock the container and prevent the lift-off inner cap from opening. The container is opened by rotating the outer locking cap to disengage the abutments, permitting the lift-off inner cap to be lifted to open the container. The outer locking cap includes at least one spring that engages a spring-engaging surface on the vessel as the outer locking cap is rotated to assist in disengaging the abutments and to allow the outer locking cap to return to its closed and locked position.

Abstract: A non-drip device for a bottle is in the form of an outwardly projecting peripheral lip. This peripheral lip has a triangular section of thickness that decreases out to an outer tip, the lip being defined by a top side and by a bottom side that, between them, form an angle lying in the range 5° to 45°. This outwardly projecting peripheral lip has a length advantageously lying in the range 0.1 mm to 0.8 mm. It may be provided at the top end of the skirt of a cover of the engagement type. In a variant embodiment, this lip may be formed integrally at the neck of the bottle. Such a lip structure makes it possible, at the time of pouring, and in effective manner, to avoid formation of drops that run down along the outside face of the bottle.

Abstract: The invention relates to a closure for a container for holding a fluid, more particularly an adhesion promoter composition, provided, having a base element which can be fastened in the region of a pour opening of the container and which has an opening through which the fluid can be withdrawn from the container, having a first closure element which in a closed position thereof effects fluid-tight sealing of the opening of the base element and which in an open position thereof releases the opening of the base element, and having a second closure element, which can be fastened to the base element in such a way as to be repeatedly releasable and which, in a container storage mode, secures the first closure element in its storage position and, for a container dispensing mode, releases the first closure element to bring it from its closed position into the open position.

Abstract: The capsule comprises: an internal capsule (4), which inserts removably in a mouth (2) of a container (1) to be closed, having an external cover (5), creating a security opening of the container (1); a reducer (7) which is applied on the mouth (2) of the container (1) and which is provided with an upper wall (70), in which a hole (71) is afforded, in which a syringe doser (8) can be introduced. The reducer (7) comprises: at least a radial projection (72) in the upper wall (70) thereof, which inserts in an annular recess (40) internally afforded in the upper part of the internal capsule (4); a first annular cavity (73), delimited by an external wall (74) and an internal wall (75) which develop axially below the upper wall (70) of the reducer (7), in which upper wall (70) an overhang (20) developing axially from the upper end of the mouth (2) of the container (1) is anchored.

Abstract: A container cap locking a plug member to a mouth by a locking member and capable of being removed from the mouth together with the plug member by repositioning a holder member. The locking member is covered on the container mouth so as to hold the plug and the holder member is fitted to the outer peripheral sides of a plurality of locking pieces of the locking member. In each locking piece, an upper side part is connected to a lower side part through a thin-walled bending part. The upper side part is locked to the rubber plug from the lower side with the holder member on the outer peripheral side thereof. The lower side part is locked to the container mouth from the lower side by the holder member. Locking projected parts prevent the lower end of the holder member from coming out of the upper side part.
