Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a wine tool for preserving wine in a wine bottle. The wine tool include a body and a grippable portion. The body has an open end, a closed end, and a sidewall extending between the open end and the closed end. The sidewall has an elevated outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface. The grippable portion is positioned about a portion of the body for assisting a user with removal and placement of a cork into a wine bottle.

Abstract: Generally described, aspects of the disclosed subject matter are directed to a cork wiring device for closure of a stopper of a bottle of champagne or other effervescent drink. The cork wiring device generally includes an assembly made of metal wire and provided with two parts, namely on the one hand a cage having three legs, and on the other hand a band joined to a free end of each of said legs. The cork wiring device may also include a plate associated with the cage to constitute an interface, the three legs meeting at their end opposite to their free end, forming a loop, and the plate may include three exclusively lateral grooves, each of said lateral grooves being associated with one of said legs and intended to receive a portion of the associated leg located between the free end and the loop.

Abstract: A closure for a bottle includes a stopper portion and a head portion. The stopper portion has an axial length and a first width. The stopper portion is configured to be received at least in part within a bottle. The stopper portion has a wooden inner part and a polymer outer part. The head portion has a second width that exceeds the first width. Continuities in the wooden inner part strengthen the mechanical connection between the polymer outer part and the wooden inner part.

Abstract: The invention concerns a wire-cap capsule (1) intended to be interposed between a wire-cap (2) and a stopper intended to plug a neck of a bottle containing an effervescent liquid, said capsule comprising three grooves (10, 11, 12) provided on a first face to each accommodate a portion of a leg (20, 21, 22) of the wire-cap, said grooves meeting at the centre of the capsule to form a Y, characterised in that the capsule (I) is rigid, non-metallic, obtained by moulding and/or recyclable and optionally decorated. The capsule according to one preferred embodiment allows the cage of the wire-cap to be held by force by fastening at lugs (13). The invention also relates to a closure system comprising said capsule.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device for sealing a bottle containing a sparkling wine and includes a stopper, particularly made of cork or a synthetic material, capable of being inserted in the neck of the bottle, maintained thereon by a wire cap, and run through in the axial direction, by a conduit having first and second ends capable of communicating respectively with the bottle's internal volume and external volume. The second end is closed by a retractable closer. Abstract: A closure for a medication container includes a recorder supported by the closure for recording and playing back a patient's instructions for taking the medication. The recorder includes a microphone, a speaker, a storage means, a play button, and a recessed record button. A liner is also provided and is releasably engaged with the closure such that a barrier is formed between the closure and the medication container. The closure also has a tab extending from its periphery. The tab has an aperture extending through it. A strap dimensioned to pass through the aperture is provided and has a tang with one end engageable with the tab to retain the strap in the aperture. The strap extends generally adjacent to the container when retained in the aperture and can be attached to the medication container by an adhesive strip thereby preventing complete separation of the closure from the container.
