The protective cover is placed over the vehicle and the strap is weighed down with the help of the weighted ball device mounted thereon. The weighted ball device is decoupled from the strap to allow ends of the strap to couple together. The pad protects the vehicle from objects falling onto or colliding with the vehicle.
