Abstract: A dispenser has a housing with a stem extending through the housing. The stem is attached to a head which rotates therewith. When the stem/head combination are rotated axially into, are in some positions, blocking flanges block portals into the stem. In other axially rotated positions, portals in the stem are unblocked by the portals. The portals are at a side of the stem adjacent to the bottom in embodiments of the disclosed technology. Further, a bottom region of the internal space can be conical to direct the material towards the portals, the bottom side of the stem being surrounded by the adjacent conical space such that it fits snugly there-with in embodiments of the disclosed technology.

Abstract: A fountain-style carbonated soft drink dispenser includes a housing adapted to attach to a beverage container, an actuator for selectively opening a fluid conduit, and one or more long tubes that vary a pressure drop across the dispensing assembly and convey fluid. The resistance through the tube(s) is decreased as the pressure within the container decreases so as to maintain a substantially constant flow rate throughout dispensing.

Abstract: A refillable compressed gas capsule, in particular, for household uses and for compressed-gas hand-operated devices, includes a valve body pretensioned by a spring and slidably held against a valve seat by the inner pressure of the compressed-gas capsule and against the pretension towards the interior of the capsule, which body is held in a holding means inserted into an opening provided in the face side of the capsule limiting the opening path of said valve body and comprising at least one opening leading into the interior of the capsule. In order to produce such a compressed-gas capsule in a very simple manner, it is provided that the holding means and the valve seat are held at least indirectly by an inwardly directed flanged edge of the capsule.
Abstract: A dispensing apparatus for attaching to the bottleneck of a bottle filled with a carbonated drink. The apparatus includes an adapter ring with angled surfaces for sealing onto the bottleneck and a valve housing attached to the adapter ring. The valve housing having a valve closure member that diverges away from sloping walls of an entry chamber to provide a range of control for flow control, and soft contours at every juncture to minimize turbulence.
