    Abstract: A tactile sensing device allows a user to utilize tactile senses in order to distinguish between a plurality of different surface textures. A body member has a plurality of openings with a plate member rotatably disposed therein. Each plate member has a first surface with a first texture thereon and a second surface with a second texture thereon. Each first texture is unique with respect to each other and each second texture is unique with respect to each other. A magnet is attached to the rim of each opening while each plate member has a magnetically sensitive portion, or vice versa, for limiting plate member rotation. A chamber may be located on at least one end of the body member.

    Abstract: The invention is a combination gift article that simultaneously provides the features of a photo frame, gift box and greeting card. It is comprised of two swivably connected panels that open and close with respect to each other, much like the covers of a book or greeting card. One or both of the panels may have means for mounting and displaying a photograph, and with both panels opened with respect to each other, serve as a photo frame. The combination gift article has a gift container mounted on one of the panels that may contain a small gift and/or a photograph. Preferably the gift container is in the shape of a heart. The combination gift article may also have inscribed on a panel or the gift container a greeting or message for the receiver of the gift.

    Abstract: A generally rectangular container for the storage and protection of sports cards having a rigid Internal Enclosure (6) which is slidably insertable and completely removable from a rigid External Enclosure (8).The External Enclosure (8) incorporates two Fingergrip cutouts (8a) and (8a') located to the front and to either side of the External Enclosure (8) to permit grasping the Internal Enclosure (6) for removal. The Internal Enclosure (6) has the capacity to store a plurality of cards and permit random access of such cards by utilizing spaced Bottom Rails (6a) and (6a') which create a gap sufficient for the insertion of a finger or fingers to raise any specific card, or series of cards, up and out of the card stack. The front panel insert (10) to the Internal Enclosure (6) is transparent, thus permitting visibility of the first card in any sequential ordering of cards.

    Abstract: A visually pleasing box according to the present invention has six opaque panels. A light transmissible window is provided at one panel and a partition plate for dividing the interior of the box body into two half spaces is disposed on a flat face defined by one diagonal line of a given panel among the four panels abutting the panel formed with the window and other diagonal line of a panel opposite to the given panel and parallel to the diagonal line of the given panel. Furthermore, a light-reflective area is provided on a surface of the partition plate substantially over the entire surface thereof and facing the window. Thus, the reflecting operation of the reflective area is utilized to be visually pleased, and the box in which the state and the utility can be variably modified as a saving box, pencil stand box, flower stand box, stock box ornament box, etc. can be provided.

    Abstract: A convertible carrying case and expandable essel is presented by a pair of three sided trays interconnected by a liner that includes two slidable panels engaged by the respective trays and an intermediate spine that encloses the open ends of the trays when they are closed on one another. A multi-position handle is provided on each tray to facilitate suspension and carrying of the closed trays as an enclosed case. They also provide separate adjustable supports for the two trays when they are in an open side-by-side positions as an expandable easel for displaying or viewing of articles positioned within the tray boundaries.

In a preferred embodiment, the structure is a mirror cube formed by five rectangular mirrors defining four sides and a top panel, and an inset base. Upper and lower frames extend around upper and lower margins of the side panels and are coupled together by clamping means. In one embodiment, these clamping means comprise a bolt extending between an inner top panel and the base and releasable from below the base. Other forms of structure are disclosed and may be used as, say, packing cases, furniture structures and the like.
