Abstract: A combination carrying device includes a rigid basket having a flexible bag nested therein. The flexible bag may be formed from one or more fabrics or like materials and define a tapered volume having a pair of handle extensions. The rigid basket may be formed from plastics or like materials and include rotatable handles disposed on an upper perimeter thereof, and may also define a tapered volume which corresponds to the tapered volume of the flexible bags. A customer carrying a combination carrying device in a materials handling facility (e.g., a warehouse or retail establishment) may place one or more items in the flexible bag nested within the rigid basket, and extract the flexible bag from the rigid basket upon arriving at a destination or after executing a purchase for the items therein.

Abstract: The transport device provides a front wall, rear wall, two side walls, and a bed for storage of transported contents. Handle apertures located within the side walls and rear wall are strategically placed to allow the user to manipulate the transport device. The handle apertures enable users to easily position and manipulate the transport device for transporting items and use as a scoop. Storage recesses are found on the rear wall and side walls on the transport device. The elevated storage recesses allow storage above items transported on the bed of the transport device.

Abstract: A collapsible pet crate is provided that includes a top; a bottom base; and a plurality of walls including a first wall pair. The first wall pair includes a first wall pivotably connected to the bottom base for pivoting about a first horizontal axis and a second wall pivotably connected to the first wall for pivoting about a first vertical axis. The collapsible pet crate being configured for arrangement in a crating orientation in which the top is removably connected to at least one of the walls and a collapsed orientation in which the top is removably connected to the bottom base. A method of providing a collapsible pet crate is also provided.

Abstract: A label applying apparatus and a related method are provided. The label applying apparatus may include a label applicator and a receptacle. The label applicator may include a displaceable piston with an applicator surface configured to receive a label. The receptacle may include walls that define an interior compartment. Further the receptacle may include a pivotable cover member that pivots about a hinge between a closed position that covers an upper opening of the receptacle and an open position in which articles of material may be inserted into the interior compartment. The distal end of an upper portion of the pivotable cover member may engage the articles such that the articles are retained in a position whereby the displaceable piston extends into the interior compartment and applies a label to a label application surface of the most proximate one of the articles to the applicator surface of the displaceable piston.

Abstract: A repository device, useful as a collection container, a religious instructional tool and a religious decorative item is disclosed. The repository device consists of a completely enclosed, ovoid-shaped basket having a conventional handle and having a moveable side entry closure in the top portion of the basket. The entry closure is designed to assimilate an ancient tombstone used in ancient times to seal burial tombs.

Abstract: A tote carrier formed from a generally planar blank of sheet material cut and scored to comprise a rectangular bottom panel, a pair of side wall panels and a pair of end wall panels hingedly connected to the bottom panel, and a pair of end foldover panels hingedly connected to the ends of each side wall panel. The side and end wall panels are folded upwardly to define an open top receptacle region. The end foldover panels are folded inwardly and may be attached either to the inner or outer surfaces of the end wall panels to secure the carrier in an upright position. Striplike portions along the top of each side wall panel, and an adjacent striplike portion of each end foldover panel, are separated from the corresponding side wall or end foldover panel by a cut line to define a pair of handle straps, while each end of the handle straps remain connected to the adjoining end foldover panels.

Abstract: An article of furniture has one or more drawers in which the two side members are formed at their forward ends with reduced portions which form tenons that engage through and forwardly of vertically disposed mortise apertures adjacent each side edge of the front member. A rod is connected to and supported by the tenons at locations forwardly of the front member, the rod extending parallel to the front member in spaced relationship thereto. The rod forms a handle by which the drawer can be pulled open and pushed closed with the force necessary to open and close the drawer being transmitted directly through the rod to the side members. The rod also functions as a rail on which towels and similar articles can be hung.

Abstract: Relates to a combination carpenter's portable power operated hand saw and table saw in which the hand carrying case forming the table of the combination approximates in size that of travel suitcases and similar forms of luggage. The case is provided interiorly with guides for receiving and removably suspending a power driven hand saw in inverted or upside down relationship to the normal usage of the portable saw such that the blade of the saw is projectionable through a slot in the top of the case for cutting purposes. Means is provided inside the case for withdrawing the blade from the slot through which it projects when not in use and for tilting the blade to selection positions for making inclined cuts. Means is provided externally of the case for guiding the work product being cut, the guiding member for this purpose being slidably movable varying distances from the plane of the blade. Means is also provided for knock down packaging of the parts of the case for shipping purposes.
