Abstract: A novel apparatus for allocating pills from a pharmacy pill container into a weekly pill storage container is described herein. The pill sorting apparatus is made of two parts, each with seven holes. The pills are poured into the sorting apparatus, and the two parts are shifted so that the holes align, allowing the seven pills to drop into the weekly pill storage container.

Abstract: An assembled product includes at least three elements arranged in three different planes. A first element is connected perpendicular to a second element, and a third element is connected perpendicular to the second element. The assembled product includes one or more locking devices, each comprising a flexible tongue arranged in an insertion groove one of the at least three elements. The flexible tongue cooperates with a tongue groove, at an adjacent one of the at least three elements, for locking the one element and the adjacent element together. A second edge of the second element is connected to a second edge of the third element by a first of said locking devices.

Abstract: This invention relates to a dosage management system that comprises a container including a box with an opening towards the top. The box has a first side with an opposing second side and a third side. The box has a pair of parallel grooves in the first side and second side and a tray inside the box. There is also provided a resilient sliding lid. The lid has two parallel opposing edges that slidingly engage the grooves. At least one of the edges and grooves has a catch and notch combination that engage when the lid is in a closed position. The grooves have a first incline or decline part connected to a substantially horizontal part which is again connected to a second incline or decline part. When opening the box, the lid is pushed down the lid then bending into the horizontal part, the notch and catch disengaging and the lid is moved to the third side to open the box.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes an ice-making chamber, an ice bucket that can be slidably drawn into and out of the ice-making chamber, and a locking device that can lock the ice bucket, and the locking device may be provided in an upper wall of an inner case. Only a latch protrusion that protrudes upwardly is formed in the ice bucket so as to be coupled to the locking device, and therefore a structure of the ice bucket may be simplified, and an unnecessary opening may not be formed in the ice bucket, thereby preventing cool air of an inside of the ice bucket from leaking.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling unit (1) for chilled, in particular frozen, goods, comprising a cooling chamber (2), a housing wall (3) that at least partially delimits the cooling chamber (2), a carrier (8) that bridges the cooling chamber (2) at least in some regions and has a covering (14) and a support profile (15) for absorbing bending stresses, which profile is at least partially covered by the covering (14), and at least one sliding cover (4, 5, 6, 7), by means of which the cooling chamber (2) can be at least partially closed and which is mounted in a slidable manner on the covering (14) of the carrier (8) and on the housing wall (3) by way of linear guides (9, 10, 11) of the cooling unit (1). In order to provide a stable and user-friendly cooling unit (1), the support profile (15) runs at least partially beneath the linear guide (10, 11).

Abstract: A portable storage enclosure is presented. The enclosure is a substantially rectangular enclosure formed of wood, having fixed ends and sides. The enclosure may have a back formed of slats held by grooves in the ends and/or sides. The enclosure has two sliding doors, each configured with an aperture, so that the apertures may be used both to manipulate the doors, and as handles to lift and transport the enclosure. The sliding doors have two closed positions, so that the apertures are oriented together at the center of the enclosure, or apart at the ends of the enclosure. The enclosure may also have handles on the ends and/or sides to facilitate carrying the enclosure in several orientations.

Abstract: In a representative embodiment of the invention, a display for a gift and greeting card or the like comprises a rigid box having an open front with a finished perimeter. A small gift may be removably positioned within the interior of the box with lighting means positioned adjacent thereto to selectively illuminate the gift. A reversible panel is slidingly movable in grooves formed in side frame members at the box open front to conceal and reveal the gift as desired. A multi-page greeting card may be positioned forwardly of the panel in the grooves with the back page thereof including a hole through which the panel, and subsequently the gift, may be viewed upon removal of the panel.

Abstract: A shutter of the type used as a closure for boxes or containers, or for garage doors, includes a series of interconnected elongated strips having at each end of each strip an integral male and female connecting member so that the female connecting members of one strip are capable of interlocking with the male members of an adjacent strip to form the shutter. Each strip also includes an elongated recessed area and a corresponding overlapping portion positioned below the recessed area. When a series of strips are interconnected to form the shutter, the overlapping portion of one strip is received in the recess portion of an adjacent strip. Lastly, each strip includes at least one vertically oriented pair of tongue and groove members positioned intermediate the ends of each strip so that when a series of strips are interconnected to form a shutter, the tongue of one strip is received by the groove of a corresponding strip so as to prevent tampering.

The bottom wall of the drawer comprises a pair of panels and a rigidifying center support board therebetween. The drawer may be packaged and sold in knocked-down form so that the multi-panel bottom wall permits economic use of the minimum size package. Sliding doors are provided for use with molded door jambs and door tracks operationally supporting said doors.

Abstract: A container for produce, fruit, groceries, dairy products, and the like comprising a hollow container of substantially rectangular shape, the container including laterally spaced normally vertical side walls, longitudinally spaced normally vertical end walls connecting the side walls at the respective opposite ends of said container and a bottom wall closing the normally lower end of the container. Means defining a guide channel for a slidable cover member on the upper end of said container is provided. The cover member being slidably positioned in the guide channel. The container is open at the upper end of one of the normally vertical walls to permit movement of the slidable cover into or out of the guide channel. A ventilating passage means is provided in at least one of the normally vertical walls.

Abstract: A sandbox for recreational play is disclosed which has a slidable cover. The cover slides between a closed position covering a container for holding sand to an open position wherein the sand container is uncovered. The cover has a downwardly depending end portion which supports the cover when in the open position, enabling the cover to be used as a play deck. The cover advantageously has an entertaining play surface formed thereon, preferably a miniature marina. To this end, a depression is formed in the cover into which water is received for use with water play toys. A toy vehicle roadway is also formed along the upper portion of the sandbox, and on the cover. The roadway is endless regardless of whether the cover is in either the fully open or fully closed cover position. The container has a channel formed in three of its sidewalls. The ends of the channel are open to the exterior of the container. The cover slides between positions guided by the channel.

Abstract: Storage cabinets for storing single sets of punches and dies when not being used in tabletting machines. The tabletting machine customarily employs a single such set of punches and dies. A storage cabinet includes plural horizontal trays providing plural horizontal nests for horizontally storing punches. It also includes plural horizontal drawers for storing dies that match the stored punches. The cabinet also may include a lesser number of door-carried vertically oriented punch nests for storing vertically oriented punches. All of the stored punches are so situated that their operative surfaces are protected against striking metal objects so that they will not be nicked, scratched or dented, necessitating repair. The cabinets are of a proper size for modular storage on a toolmaker's steel shelving.

Abstract: An endless tape cassette including a stationary reel having a slit communicating the inner and outer peripheral sides and carrying an endless tape wound on the outer periphery, guide plates for guiding the endless tape wound on the stationary reel such that it is pulled out from the inner periphery of the tape roll through the slit and taken up on the outer periphery of the tape reel, and a housing accommodating and supporting the stationary reel and guide plates. The housing includes a bottom plate formed with an opening for permitting a tape drive mechanism to be inserted therethrough into housing for operative coupling to said endless tape, a top plate facing said bottom plate, a pair of side plates, a front end plate and a rear end plate.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cassette particularly for bank notes. The object of the invention is to provide a cassette which will give an indication if it is tampered with.The cassette has a shutter which can be opened to remove the contents and mechanism to move the shutter from a first position to a second position when actuated by an external actuator means. When the external actuator is removed the mechanism automatically returns the shutter to the first position. Means are provided to prevent further movement of the shutter after it has returned to the first position.In the drawings (FIG. 5), shutter 12 is actuated by rods 30 acting against the tension of spring 26.The shutter is held against movement by latch 44 engaging bar 24. When key 57 is turned through 180.degree., end 51 of bar 50 lifts latch 44 against spring pressure to allow shutter 12 to be opened by rods 30.

Abstract: A storage container is disclosed for items, such as tabulating cards, magnetic cards, magentic tape cassettes as well as smaller items. The container comprises an integrally formed tray to which container side panels are attached. Each of the side panels is larger than the side walls of the tray and contain a channel along the periphery for receiving a sliding closure means therein for closing the container. A second removable tray of substantially identical outer proportions as the first tray can be placed within the container above the first tray and can be seated on horizontal flanges integrally formed with the side panels. The flanges additionally impart structural rigidity to the container and have a number of notches for receiving members that divide the lower tray portion into compartments. The closure member has spaced transverse ribs bonded to a flexible fabriclike substrate.
