Abstract: A switchboard is provided having a rotating shutter structure that comprises: a switchboard body that is provided with a circuit breaker chamber into which a circuit breaker is inserted, and an open hole formed in the rear surface to expose a conductor part of a bushing assembly to the circuit breaker chamber; a shutter part that is rotatably installed in the switchboard body and opens/closes the open hole by rotating; and an operation unit that is installed in the switchboard body and rotates the shutter part when the circuit breaker is inserted into the circuit breaker chamber.
Abstract: A medium voltage switch unit comprising an interruption unit and a disconnection unit, wherein the interruption unit comprises a first and a second interruption contact and a first drive unit which moves one of said interruption contacts between a first position in which they are in electrical connection and a second position in which they are spaced apart. The disconnection unit comprises a first and a second fixed disconnection contacts couplable and uncouplable with respective first and second movable disconnection contacts mounted on the interruption unit and electrically connected to the first interruption contact. The interruption unit is mechanically supported by a first fixed conductor and the second interruption contact is electrically connected to said first fixed conductor.
Abstract: A current transformer cabinet is disclosed having an electrical meter coupled to current transformers. One or more disconnect switches arranged between the source conductors and the load conductors. The disconnect switches include a link member that allows the disconnecting of electrical service from the load conductors by rotation of the link from a first position to a second position.

Abstract: A current pause device configured to enhance the operation of transmission and distribution line circuit interrupters by delaying the voltage build across the circuit interrupter arc gap for a time period sufficient to allow the dielectric characteristic of the medium within the arc to recover. This allows the circuit interrupter to break the circuit at a lower arc gap voltage than would occur without the current pause device. The current pause device includes a conductive arcing horn and an insulator interposed in the arcing horn to create a conductive gap in the arcing horn and a voltage protection arrangement to limit the voltage across the current pause device and thereby prevent a voltage breakdown across the current pause device. Specifically, the voltage protection arrangement includes a diode connected to the arcing horn in parallel with the insulator and a dielectric spark gap device connected in parallel across the insulator.
Abstract: A high voltage load interrupter including an oil switch and a vacuum switch, an oil switch operating handle for manual operation of the oil switch, and a vacuum switch operating handle for manual operation of the vacuum switch, in which the oil switch operating handle and the vacuum switch operating handle are so located with respect to each other that the oil switch operating handle cannot be moved to its "switch open" position unless the vacuum switch operating handle is in its "switch open" position and the vacuum switch operating handle cannot be moved to its "switch closed" position unless the oil switch operating handle is in its "switch closed" position.
