    Abstract: A method, system and apparatus of determining search parameters for welding seam point calibration. The method includes determining, for a seam vertex point on a welding seam, three reference faces which are perpendicular to each other, based on geometry of an object to be weld in a virtual model; and determining a start point and a search point of a search motion for welding seam point calibration based on the three reference faces and predetermined criteria respectively for the start point and the search point. Three reference faces can be extracted automatically, and search parameters needed for the search instructions can be determined based thereon which enables automatic generation of search instructions and thus the time, manpower and cost for the welding seam point calibration can be reduced greatly.

The second portion has an externally facing, axially extending cylindrical wall. A circumferential groove is formed in the wall. The locking ring has a quick-disconnect feature in the form of an array of spring-loaded stainless steel ball bearing detents that deflect to ride upon the cylindrical wall, and spring inwardly to seat in the circumferential groove.

First pairs of rolls grip the top side and bottom side of the workpiece while pairs of rolls that grip the external faces of the bent edges and form the shape of a pipe are provided in the region where the bent edges form undercuts. The guiding and shaping system further comprises a welding device. The workpiece is supported by floatingly mounted lateral rolls until cooling off following the welding process.

    Abstract: A method and machine for deburring the burr which is formed when wires are butt welded is disclosed. The machine comprises a deburring head which has a pair of opposed deburring rollers mounted thereon. Each of the rollers has a milled surface formed therein. A linkage is connected to the rollers to cause the rollers to rotate when the linkage is moved between first and second positions. When the linkage is in its first position, the milled surfaces of the rollers face one another to enable the wires and burr to be positioned therebetween. As the linkage moves to its second position, the circumferences of the rollers engage the burr to roll out the same, thereby providing a substantially smooth, cylindrical surface where the burr was located. The method of deburring is also disclosed.
