  • Patent number: 10307858
Abstract: To provide a welding gun capable of improving the durability by effectively bearing the load in the thrust direction, and capable of providing a heavyweight and large-sized movable gun arm, even in a small-sized main body unit. A welding gun 10 of a guide groove type is provided with a thrust direction guide mechanism including: two guide pins 19a and 19b provided to an arm holder 13 in an integrated manner by penetrating first and second guide grooves 17a and 17b; brackets 23a and 23b being fixedly provided to the end portions of the guide pins 19a and 19b, and having a length sufficient to traverse the first and second guide grooves 17a and 17b in a direction orthogonal to the axis line of the guide pins 19a and 19b; and thrust bearing members 24a and 24b being provided to the end portions of the brackets 23a and 23b, abutting on a side plate 11a of a gun body 11, so as to be movable along the first and second guide grooves 17a and 17b.

  • Patent number: 10300552
Abstract: A one-side spot welding device includes a base which is formed in a cylindrical shape, a welding head and a welding tip. The base has a push rod operable in an upward and a downward direction with respect to the base and has a slide groove in an upper inner circumferential surface thereof. The welding head is installed at an upper side of the base so as to be slidable in a radial direction and equally divided in a circumferential direction so as to include a plurality of unit welding heads in close contact with one another. The unit welding heads are capable of being spaced apart from one another in the radial direction by the push rod. The welding tip is formed in a cylindrical shape so as to be configured at an outer circumference of the base, operates in an upward and a downward direction and is capable of applying welding electric current to the welding head.

  • Patent number: 8237078
Abstract: A multiple welding gun system includes a plurality of welding guns, simultaneously performing welding operations, mounted to a robot arm of a welding robot and a pitch changing device as a space adjusting device disposed between the plurality of welding guns. The pitch changing device is configured to change a gun pitch so as to adjust a space between the welding guns by rotating one of the welding guns relative to other one of the welding guns to thereby move the welding guns closer to or separate from each other.

  • Patent number: 6706990
Abstract: A device for use in combination with a hand held resistance welder to allow for insertion of an elongated portion of metal between two electrodes for welding hard to reach areas. The device features a mount to attach the device to a conventional hand held resistance welder with a laterally translatable pressure shaft. Once operatively mounted, translation of the pressure shaft translates a pivoting electrode which in turn rotates a primary mounting arm which causes two electrodes to move together and form a weld on the metal inserted.
