Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods related to a fragrance bottle assembly are disclosed. The fragrance bottle assembly can include a bottle configured to retain an atomizable liquid, the bottle having an upper portion and an interior area, a nozzle head coupled to the upper portion and in communication with the interior area, and a tube coupled to the nozzle head and extending into an interior area for engagement with the liquid. The assembly can also include a cap assembly disposed over the upper portion of the bottle, the cap having an upper surface having an opening through which extends such that the nozzle head protrudes above the upper surface. The cap assembly can further include a nozzle cover connected to and slidably moveable along the second upper surface between a first position spaced away from the nozzle head and a second position covering the nozzle head.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods related to a fragrance bottle assembly are disclosed. Abstract: A package has a tray slidably mounted in a carton. The carton has a front access port and at least one catch. The tray has a pair of stops positioned to successively engage at least one catch in order to restrict outward movement of the tray. The tray can be positioned with the pair of stops located inwardly of, and locked in place by, at least one catch. The catch on the carton can be manipulated to clear one of the pair of stops and allow it to move outwardly past the catch.

Abstract: A holding apparatus comprises a tray configured to hold food product therein, a holding portion configured to hold the tray therein, and a cover configured to cover the tray held in the holding portion. The cover comprises a covering portion, a pair of flange portions, the covering portion being disposed between the pair of flange portions, and a channel formed in each of the flange portions. The channel comprises a first portion extending from an edge of each of the flange portions, a supporting portion, and a second portion formed between the first portion and the supporting portion. The holding apparatus further comprises a projecting portion disposed on the holding apparatus and configured to be coupled to the channel such that the cover is suspended in the holding portion via contact between the projecting portion and the supporting portion of the channel.

The closure includes the following: (A) a body having at least one access aperture that can communicate with the container opening and that can accommodate removal of the contents in a discharge direction out of the at least one access aperture; (B) a sliding seal member disposed on the body for accommodating movement of the seal member relative to said at least one access aperture between (a) a closed position sealing against the closure body at the at least one access aperture to occlude the at least one access aperture, and (b) an open position exposing the at least one access aperture; and (c) cooperating guide surfaces on the body and the sliding seal member for guiding the sliding seal member.

Abstract: A carrier is configured to hold a container having a door mounted for reciprocation between opened and closed positions. The carrier includes a body adapted to receive the container as well as an extension coupled for reciprocal movement with respect to the body. The extension is adapted for engagement with the door of the container, and the reciprocal movement of the extension is adapted to reciprocate the door of the container between the opened and closed position. A container system including a container and the carrier is also provided.

Abstract: A cap system for a container includes a cap that can be coupled to an open top of a container. The cap incorporates a hole that provides for fluid communication with an interior region of the container. A closure element movably coupled to the cap defines a solid region and an open region. The closure element is disposed at an angle with respect to a portion of the cap. At least one weight is coupled to the closure element such that the closure element moves as gravity acts thereon to align the closure element's solid region with the hole when the cap is in a first or upright orientation, and to align the open region with the hole when the cap is in a second or tipped orientation.

They may be in a special container (1), sealed and purged, replacing the internal atmosphere with an inert purge gas, and leaving the sealed container slightly pressurized. By hinging a lid or door (5) to the container via hinges (12, 13), the respective parts of which can move relative to one another translationally, at least when the door or lid (1) is in the closed position, and in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the door or lid, much improved sealing may be achieved. The invention also relates to methods used to deliver and duct the purge gas within the container to ensure good purge gas delivery and mixing.

The element (5) is translatable with respect to the second end (12) of the main body (1) between an open position (A) of the cavity (4) of the main body (1) and a closed position (C) of the cavity (4), with the displacement of the element (5) from the open position (A) to the closed position (C) determining the cutting of the cigarette by means of the cutting profile (52).

Abstract: A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.

Abstract: A protective cover mechanism includes a housing, a protective cover and a latching pole. The housing includes an opening defined therethrough. The protective cover is configured for covering the opening of the housing and includes a latching slot defined therethrough. The latching slot includes a first latching end and an opposite second latching end. The latching pole is integrally formed on the housing adjacent to the opening and is penetrated through the latching slot of the protective cover for slidably or rotatably assembling the protective cover to the housing. The latching pole is latchable to the first latching end or the second latching end of the latching slot to expose or cover the opening of the housing.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a secured group lock box. The group lock box includes a body having a latch and a lid connected to the body. The lid includes a main member and a back member. The main member of the lid includes a plurality of slots and the back member of the lid includes a plurality of pins. One of the pins is installed in each of the slots for enabling the main member of the lid to slidingly extend over the body of the group lock box before the lid is rotated away from the body to provide access to the contents therein.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for connecting a door to a container. The door provides and restricts access to a chamber of the container in respective open and closed positions. The mechanism includes, at each corresponding lateral side of the container and the door, a rail mounted to the container, an elbow, and first and second linkage arms. The rail aligns along a fore-and-aft direction so that the elbow slides along that direction. The elbow has vertical and axial members. The axial member connects to the rail. The first linkage arm includes first, second and third joints that pivotably connect respectively to the vertical member, to the container, and to the door. The second linkage arm includes fourth and fifth joints that pivotably connect respectively to the door and to the container. The linkage arms are disposed to avoid lateral obstruction beyond the door in the open position.

Abstract: A pitcher includes a container body defining a liquid storage cavity therein and having an open end and a cover removably coupled to the container body. The cover extends along the open end, and the cover defining a fill opening configured to receive a liquid therein. The fill opening is in communication with the liquid storage cavity. The front cover is movably mounted on the base and has a rear surface and a transverse slot formed on the rear surface. The slider is slidably mounted in the longitudinal slot and protrudes through the oblique slot into the transverse slot. As the front cover moves, the front cover induces the slider to move the lateral tray for improved convenience.

The slide cover is slidably mounted on the front of the base. The drawer is slidably mounted in the chamber of the base and selectively extends out of the chamber through the opening of the base. The transmission device is mounted inside the chamber, connects to the slide cover and the drawer and selectively ejects the drawer out of the base when driven by the slide cover. With the transmission, operating the cosmetic container is simple and convenient.

Abstract: A dumpster having a moveable false floor which moves from a bottom of the dumpster toward a top opening when the dumpster is tilted to a substantially inverted orientation during collection of trash. The moveable false floor has freedom to move a predetermined length toward the top opening, where upon reaching the predetermined length a restraining means abruptly stops the floor causing the dumpster to shake dislodging adhered trash. Upon being returned to an upright orientation the moveable false floor moves back to the bottom.

Abstract: A tubular member is releasably mounted on a base and encircles a trash bag that rests on the base. Once the trash bag is filled, the tubular member is released from the base and removed from the filled trash bag. The filled trash bag can then be removed and discarded.

Abstract: A child-resistant/senior friendly dispensing package comprising a dispensing member having a dispensing cavity and a product storage cavity, the dispensing member being mounted within a sleeve movable from a first stored position to a second position wherein the dispensing cavity is exterior of the housing to permit dispensing of the product, a device having first and second locks which must be operated either sequentially or simultaneously in order to move the dispensing cavity exteriorly of the housing. The device preferably permits the dispensing of only a single tablet or product.

Abstract: A metal slide lid for a container which is formed from a metal blank, but in which substantially all of the raw metal edges of the blank are shielded by formed shapes. A pair of rolled rails depend from the top portion, are spaced by a sufficient distance to accept a container on which the lid is to slide, and the rolls are such that the raw metal edge is shielded within the roll. The non-rolled portions of the container, particularly the front edge which can be engaged by the fingers, is formed into a tight safety hemmed edge.

Abstract: A receptacle includes a box member having an opening, a guide rail extending along the opening, a flexible sliding lid sliding in the guide rail, a housing portion provided at an end of the box member for storing the sliding lid, and a drive device provided at the end of the housing portion for opening or closing the sliding lid. When the sliding lid is opened or closed, the sliding lid is pulled in a traveling direction of the sliding lid, and the sliding lid can be opened smoothly.

Abstract: A box includes a box body and a cover that is mounted slidably on an open distal end of the box body and that is formed with a pair of slits and an elastic arm between the slits. A cover has a pair of sliding pegs inwardly formed on two inner surfaces of two parallel side cover panels respectively and a pair of guiding pegs downwardly formed on two bottom edges of the side cover panels respectively. The cover is adapted to frontwardly slid to a display position that the sliding pegs are stopped at two front blocked ends of the sliding tracks respectively and the guiding pegs are stopped at two front stopped ends of the guiding tracks respectively, so as to open the rail-track display box for displaying the product.

Abstract: A metal finishing barrel side opening has a cover secured by a series of cover and barrel tabs, the cover slid into a secured position with the cover tabs partially overlain by the barrel tabs. A locking handle assembly includes a graspable portion supported on a deflectable spring blade attached to the cover at one end which allows the handle assembly to move away from an aligned locator feature on the barrel as the cover is pushed into position. When the cover is shifted lengthwise, the handle assembly moves past the locking feature, and the locking blade pushes the handle assembly back down alongside the locking feature which then prevents reverse sliding of the cover back from under the barrel tabs. When the handle is pulled to initiate removal of the cover, the handle assembly is then moved out above the locking feature to enable the cover to be slid to the released position. An automation apparatus interacts with one form of the locking assembly to automatically install and remove the cover.

Abstract: A rural type mailbox having transparent windows formed through the front and rear thereof, a slidable transparent window, which allows the user to open the window to access the interior from the side of the mailbox to remove or enter mail when desired. The mailbox further includes a mail-in-box indicator LED to let the user know when mail has arrived, the LEDs illuminate inside the mailbox to enabling a user to see inside the mailbox at night using a remote control. The mailbox includes a solar panel for housing rechargeable batteries.

Abstract: A food pan and cover, the food pan having a peripheral web and a wall extending upwardly from the web on which the cover is seated. The cover has an opening that receives a sliding lid. A rail on the cover supports a flange on the lid and a keyway formed between the cover and the pan supports a key on the lid for sliding movement in the keyway. Stops at either end of the keyway check sliding movement of the lid. A wall substantially surrounds the lid on the upper surface with a conduit which extends beyond the opening of the cover for removal of liquid therefrom. A relieved notch portion on the lid allows for turning movement of the lid in the opening of the cover for placement and removal.

A shutter is bendable in a sliding direction and attached to the guide grooves. The shutter is formed of a main body bendable at a plurality of thin walled portions, and a plurality of projections provided at both sides of the main body to be fitted in the guide grooves. Each projection is disposed lower than the main body to have a step therebetween.

Abstract: A captivated slidable access cover incorporates an integral cantilevered spring to prevent undesired movement resulting from gravitational forces or vibration. The cover has two generally parallel, opposed edges which are slidingly captivated in opposed tracks of the enclosure. The integrally formed cantilevered spring is located adjacent one end of the cover and biases the cover to be in one of a positively open position or a positively closed position. The cantilevered spring presses against a portion of the enclosure at or adjacent one end of the access opening defined in the enclosure. The biased interaction between the cantilevered spring and the enclosure ensures a positive open or closed position of the cover. The cover also includes a handle at its other end for slidably opening and closing the cover.

An arched sliding board is arranged just below the rectangle slot. The sliding board shifts along the two side of the rectangle slot to determine the size of the hole opened.

Abstract: Known covers, for example for receptacles in automobiles, have drawbacks in that they require several components in addition to the depositing receptacle and/or require additional reception space clearly exceeding the dimensions of the deposition receptacle for opening, and/or cannot be installed if only limited installation space is available in the depth or width direction, and/or the cover does not present sufficient sturdiness during use.

Abstract: A trash can with a sliding lid that rides in tracks facing inwardly on sides of the trash can body from an open position along a back wall of the trash can to cover and close the top of the trash can. The lid is provided with a sliding portion engaged with and directed by the guide portion. The arm member is held rotatably by the body at an opposite end, and is held rotatably by the lid at a remaining opposite end. This construction accommodates various loads or forces applied to the lid during opening and closing, thereby decreasing overall strain upon the storage box and eliminating the need to reinforce the body, the lid and the arm member. The result is a functionally simplified yet strengthened storage box capable of being manufactured at reduced costs.
