Each of the at least six tabs is about 20° to about 40° in arcuate length, and the tab height is about 1 percent to about 3 percent of the central portion diameter. Each of the six tabs is equally spaced from one another.

The top surface (40) of the cover forms a ramp engageable by the foot of the surf rider and may have grip material attached thereto.

    Abstract: A closure assembly for a pressure vessel having an opening in the external surface thereof, comprising a concentric guide track secured to the external surface of the pressure vessel, a curved concentric closure or door configured to conform to the curvature of the pressurized tank, means for interlocking the concentric door to the pressure vessel when the door is in the closed position and an inflatable seal that fills the void between the door and the pressurized tank when the door is closed and the seal inflated. The concentric guide track includes upper and lower concentric tracks upon which the concentric door is mounted and capable of moving along the track such that it can be rotated to the back of the pressure vessel when in the opened position and rotated to close and seal the opening within the pressure vessel in the closed position.

    Abstract: An immproved lid assembly for roll-off sludge containers is provided wher the lid assembly is supported by oppositely disposed lip portions which extend longitudinally along each side of an opening formed in an upper side of the sludge container. The lid assembly comprises a plurality of lid members and a roller assembly connected to each of the lid members so that the lid members can be selectively moved between a first position and a second position relative to the opening of the sludge container. In the first position the lid members are telescopically disposed in adjacent lid members, thus providing access to selected portions of the opening in the sludge container. In the second position, the lid members are extended and close off the opening in the sludge container.

    Abstract: An actuating mechanism for a locking lid, capable of completely clearing an opening in a vessel and which, in the closed position, is flush with the inner wall of the vessel. The actuating mechanism comprises a sleeve which slides over a fixed rod at an angle of between 0.degree. - 30.degree. with the vessel wall. The sleeve carries at spaced points two pivotally mounted, parallel links of equal length which are pivotally connected to the lid. The lid also carries a guide wheel running in a guide track disposed perpendicular to the vessel wall and one pivotal connection between the sleeve and link carries a connecting rod displaced by a crank provided with an actuating lever. In the initial opening and final closing movements, the locking lid moves perpendicular to the wall guided by the guide wheel running in the guide track and after clearing the opening, the lid moves parallel to itself and is brought back in front of the opening.
