Abstract: Systems and methods for protecting biological or other material from contamination through the steps of filling, freeze-drying, packaging, storing and use are disclosed. A system can include a flexible container, at least two membranes configured to transmit air or solvent vapor out of the flexible container, and a port to allow for the introduction or withdrawal of a material or substance into or out of the flexible container. The system can optionally further comprise a membrane frame supporting at least one of the membranes and engaged with at least one column member. The at least one column member can be configured to maintain the membranes and the membrane frame a spaced distance from one or more materials received within the flexible container. Upon application of a downward force, the at least one column member can assume a collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A closing system includes a module having a tubular body with a duct suitable for communicating with a fuel tank of a vehicle; a door hinged to the body of the module, and a lock mounted in the body of the module. The lock has a box with a shell and a lid, a closing pin suitable for fastening the pin of the door, a spring that stresses the closing pin, a cam obtained in the closing pin, a follower with a tip that acts in the cam, a latch that engages and locks the closing pin, an actuator suitable for actuating the latch, and an emergency mechanism that can be manually actuated by the user to unlock the closing pin from the latch.

Abstract: An arm rescue device with a long rigid grab handle, a short rigid grab handle, a first and second attachment strap designed to be attached to the forearm of a person. The long grab handle terminates at both ends in a downward disposed extension post which each terminate in an attachment plate. The short grab handle is attached in a perpendicular orientation to the long grab handle. The first and second attachment straps each include a double layer allowing each attachment plate to reside between the double layers causing the attachment plates to be fixed to the attachment straps. A preferred embodiment includes the grab handles having resilient rubber-like coverings that provide a more secure grip for a rescuer when in the process rescuing a person wearing the arm rescue device.

Abstract: A reusable tamper-resistant squeezable tabletop bottle comprises one or more openings sealed by one or more caps and one or more collars. The collars are rotatably secured relative to the body of the bottle by one or more collar receiving shoulders. The caps are axially secured relative to the body by a coupling and the caps are rotatably secured relative to the collars by a locking mechanism. The cap may be removed using a cap removal tool that releases the locking mechanism.

Abstract: Waste container lid assemblies configured for attachment to a base having a lid body and cap portion slidably connected by a tether. The lid body having an opening sized to accept medical waste and restrict access to prevent individuals from reaching into the waste container through the opening. A slot is in the lid body to permit slidable movement of the tether through the slot such the cap can be moved from a resting position in which the opening is configured for receiving waste to a closed position such that the cap portion covers the opening.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal of the present invention comprises: a terminal case including a front surface case and a rear surface case which are coupled together; and a trigger unit, which is provided so as to be exposed to the exterior of the terminal case for performing user input by means of a pulling movement, wherein the trigger unit further includes a trigger switch which is exposed to the exterior of the terminal case, a trigger rubber which comes into close contact with the inside of the terminal case so as to cover the trigger switch, and a trigger bracket which supports the trigger rubber by means of pressure and which is coupled to the inside of the terminal case. According to the present invention, provided are the mobile terminal and the method for manufacturing same, the mobile terminal having a superior waterproof function and which is easy to produce and assemble.

The support arm includes first and second swinging arms. One end side of the first swinging arm is attached inside the concave portion so as to swing. One end side of the second swinging arm is connected to the first swinging arm so as to swing and the other end side of the second swinging arm is attached to the lid so as to swing. The lid is arranged at a position displaced from the concave portion and along a surface of the vehicle when the lid is in the fully opening position.

The strap has a ring that fits over the neck of the cup and can be rotated on and off. This arrangement allows the cup and lid to remain attached through a wash cycle and during storage.

Abstract: A watercraft fuel cap having the ability to lock in place to a common fuel filler receiver and having a series of unique downward slot designs and necessitating a matching downward slot designed key for tightening or removing the fuel cap from the fuel filler receiver. The fuel cap would also have the ability for a tethering device which attaches the fuel cap and the fuel receiver together. When the fuel cap is removed for the re-fueling process the tether allows for removal but limits the distance the fuel cap can be moved away from the fuel filler receiver. The tether keeps the fuel cap from being missed placed or falling into the water.

Abstract: A Kork'd Cooz is a drink Koozie in which a rubberized or silicone cork insert suitable for application into a bottle opening, is attached to the Koozie by a means for securing it, leaving a length for it to reach the bottle top. The cork insert will mold into a bottle top to prevent mess and keep sediment or insects out of beverage.

Abstract: A personal, portable drinking container has a bottle with a side wall, a closed bottom, a neck, a reservoir, and a top opening in the neck providing access to the reservoir. A cap is removably fitted on the neck to close the top opening. A ledge can be on an interior surface of the bottle below the top edge. A filter assembly is supported in the bottle and can be suspended on the ledge. The bottle can have an annular formation in the side wall below the neck to prevent the neck from deforming when the bottle is squeezed. The side wall can have a pair of squeezable sides and a pair of opposed stiff sides below the annular formation, whereby the stiff sides help the bottle to rebound quickly after each squeeze.

Abstract: An apparatus for fastening and carrying bottles includes a cap ring and a connecting device. The cap ring has at least an opening. The cap ring is received in a cavity of the bottle. The cap ring is initially connected to the cap, and the cap ring is separated from the cap while the cap is turned to open. The connecting device engages the opening of the cap ring to allow people to carry the bottle by holding the connecting device or by engaging the connecting device with an object. The apparatus has many advantages, including never loss, low cost for manufacture, and recycle.

Abstract: A strap receivable water kettle cap includes a cap coupleable to a water kettle. The cap has a side wall forming an elongate slot and a bottom to which a rotary ring is mounted. The rotary ring has an upper portion forming a diameter reduced vertical wall. The vertical wall and the side wall of the cap form therebetween a receiving space for receiving strap in a winding fashion. The vertical wall forms an extension and retention section, and the strap extends through and is retained by the extension and retention section. The strap further extends through the slot of the side wall of the cap to have end extension sections of the strap projecting outside the cap. The tips of the end extension sections of the strap are processed to form a closed terminal. The strap can be selectively retracted back into the receiving space inside the cap.

The overlay portion raises independently of the cap when the deformable portion is not deformed into engagement with the cap. Alternatively, a lift-top cap having a slot through it, the slot having a first opening near an edge of the cap to be lifted to unseat the cap and a second opening. A slide in the slot has a first end biased to be flush with or recessed into the first opening and a second end biased to normally protrude out of the second opening. The second end of the slide can be depressed against the bias of the slide to displace the first end of the slide out of the first opening to function as a thumb tab to assist in lifting the cap from a container.

The anchor attaches to a bottle and has a threaded neck and a ridge extending outward from the threaded neck. The cap portion removably attaches to the anchor and the bottle. The cap portion has a retaining sleeve along an entire circumference of the cap portion. The retaining device keeps the cap portion connected to the anchor, so that the cap portion is not lost. The retaining device includes a rod element housed in the retaining sleeve, and the rim of the retaining sleeve prevents detachment of the rod element from the retaining sleeve. The rod element extends between the anchor and cap portion, while only the anchor remains attached to the bottle.

Abstract: The present invention is a bottle cap assembly comprising an anchor for attachment to a bottle and a cap portion removably attached to the anchor. The anchor has a first connector, and the cap portion has a second connector. The second connector removably engages the first connector, when the cap portion detaches from the anchor, and extends around the circumference of the cap portion, so that the cap portion can be attached to the first connector in any orientation. The first connector can also be mounted on a tab extending down from the anchor. The first and second connectors can be male and female connectors, respectively. Alternatively, the first and second connectors can be compatible magnets. A retaining member can also be used to permanently attach the cap portion and anchor member to reduce the risk of loss when the first and second connectors are being engaged.

The apparatus is preferably made from a plastic fish bowl into which two diametrically opposed holes are created to receive ends of the rope handle which is held in place by tying. The fish bowl has an upper lip and a ring dimensioned to fit over the lip. A circular mesh screen is attached to the ring and the ring is attached by a tether to the bowl or to the rope handle. A kit and a method of assembly are also disclosed.

The fuel cap body can be inserted into a fuel tank when the engaging blocks of the fuel cap body are aligned with the gaps of the fuel tank, and the fuel cap body is subsequently secured when the slide block is engaged in a positioning notch formed on the outer projecting wall of the fuel tank. By pushing the pushing plate of the restraining element inward, the slide block is retracted into the slide groove of the fuel cap body to allow removal of the fuel cap body from the fuel tank opening.

Abstract: A method of making a plastic container that has a tethered closure using an extrusion blow molding process includes steps of extruding a parison, capturing the parison within a mold and inflating the parison against the mold to form a container blank having a container portion, a closure portion and a tether portion for connecting the container portion to the closure portion. The tether portion, which is preferably elongated and string like, may be formed out of flash material that is created during the molding process. The resulting container is relatively inexpensive to manufacture and facilitates the plastic recycling process.

Abstract: A drinking container has a bottle with an open top, a cap assembly attachable to the bottle to cover the open top, and a drinking spout with a top opening on the cap assembly. A spout cover is removably fitted on the top opening of the drinking spout. A flexible tether is connected to the spout cover and to the cap assembly or the bottle. The tether is looped unto itself permitting the spout cover and a portion of the tether to be extended to reach the top opening and to be retracted withdrawing the spout cover to a position remote from the drinking spout.
