Abstract: A plastic beer keg includes an outer container and an inner liner. A removable lid is secured over an opening to the container to enclose the liner. The liner includes a neck portion and a body portion. A head contact member transfers axial forces imparted by handling equipment away from the neck portion.
Abstract: A dielectrically-resistant system includes a first component of a first plastic shell having opposed and spaced apart walls, defining a first cavity. The first plastic shell includes a first rib. Disposed within the first cavity is a first in-situ foam core including expanded polymer beads. The first in-situ foam core has a thermal bond with the first plastic shell. A second plastic shell and in-situ foam core component essentially mirroring the first component is connected to the first component by a connection. The dielectrically-resistant system is capable of resisting an electric potential difference of at least 50 kV.
Abstract: A product packaging device includes side portions. Each of the side portions includes a first end portion, a second end portion and a loading portion. The side portions fold together for closing the product packaging device.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a detachable coupling apparatus for a midsection of a separable bottle. The apparatus is configured such that upper and lower locking portions of a bottle are detachably coupled to each other by rotating upper and lower bodies in opposite directions, the upper and lower locking portions being inclined in a coupling direction. The present invention ensures the easy coupling for the midsection of the bottle in a single operation, and prevents unexpected separation of the bottle particularly when in the coupled state, thus continuously maintaining excellent watertight performance and stability.
Abstract: A resin container includes a main body in which a bottom plate, a cylindrical body portion, and a ceiling plate are integrally molded, and a pipe which is inserted into the main body through an outlet port opened on the ceiling plate. The main body includes a recessed portion which is formed on the bottom plate, of which center is not located on a virtual axis line extending from a center of the outlet port in a container height direction, and a gutter-shaped groove portion which is formed on the bottom plate and reaches the recessed portion. The pipe is curved from an upper end to a lower end, and the lower end of the pipe is pressed against a boundary between an inner circumferential surface of the recessed portion at a side opposite to a side of the outlet port and a bottom surface of the recessed portion.
Abstract: The present invention provides a dunnage platform bag that is light weight, strong, made of a fire retardant material and which forms an ultra violet light, weather and dust particle barrier to protect the integrity of the dunnage platforms when not in use. A system and method for supplying, dispensing, positioning, tracking, transporting, forwarding and storing dunnage platforms based on the dunnage platforms bag is disclosed. In an embodiment of the invention, a modified dunnage platform made up of a dunnage platform base and attached legs can be stored in the dunnage platform bag.
Abstract: A pressure vessel 10 comprises a container 13 for storing contents under pressure, a head section 11 and a base section 12. The head section 11 and base section 12 locate on opposing ends of the container 13 and each have projecting fingers 22, preferably five, which engage around the container 13. A retaining ring 14 locates around the container 13 and holds the fingers 22 in place. The head section 11, base section 12 and ring 14 all serve to resist expansion of the container 13. The pressure vessel may serve to store beverages such as beer.
Abstract: An article of manufacture includes (a) a three-dimensionally shaped edible candy including chocolate; and (b) a hollow container including a wall defining an exterior surface and an interior surface, the interior surface defining a hollow portion having a shape which substantially conforms to the three-dimensional shape of the candy for releasably securing the candy within the hollow shape of the container, wherein the container includes at least two portions removably secured to one and the other for releasably securing the candy, and further wherein the container includes a plastic material, such as a thermoformed plastic material.

Abstract: A water tank T of plastic material which is joined by using at least two open and identical tank parts 1 and a joining plane 2, the tank parts having respective opening structures R with a flattened inner opening edge, a sealing channel 26 being open towards the joining plane, and an outer flattened opening edge, the inner and outer opening edges within the opening edge structure are situated in each tank part 1, 35 in the joining plane 2, the opening edge at the same time defining inner and outer fitting surfaces 16, 17, respectively with a width exceeding the thickness X of the tank part wall 30 and the sealing channel wall 34 by at least about the half, such that the water tank T selectively can be manufactured from the same tank parts 1, 35 either monolithically by welding the fitting surfaces 16, 17 without sealing means in-between to each other or separable by clamping the opening edge structures R from the outer side with sealing means 33 provided between both tank parts 1, 35.
Abstract: A casing for the protection of an article contained within the casing is described, the protective casing comprising: at least two casing members which are assemblable to constitute a casing having an internal volume to receive the article, each of said at least two casing members comprising: an outer skin of fiber reinforced plastics material having a plurality of layers of reinforcing fibers in a plastics material matrix; an inner skin of fiber reinforced plastics material having a plurality of layers of reinforcing fibers in a plastics material matrix; a filling of a low density core material in a space between the outer and inner skin members; sealing means disposed in the joint face between said at least two casing members; and fastener means to hold said at least two members together.

Abstract: A covering system for use in connection with an appliance mount having a at least one self-closing tubular sleeve and a plurality of retaining rings. The retaining rings are adapted to engage a support structure. The sleeve wraps around the support structure and creates an inwardly directed clamping action which secures the sleeve to the rings.
Abstract: A container has a body with side walls and a bottom, as well as a cover connected to the side walls but below the rim. The cover is shaped as an offset dome or a sloped roof such that the bung is adjacent a side wall and at the highest point of the cover when the container is upright. A ridge runs from the bung to the side wall diametrically opposite the bung, thereby creating a downward slope from the ridge to the line of intersection of the cover with the side walls. The line of intersection of the cover with the side walls may be horizontal or at a slight angle upwardly to the position of the bung. An air tube may be placed within the bung and extend to the point of intersection of the side wall with the bottom which is farthest from the position of the bung. An alternative air tube or a second air tube may be placed within the bung and extend to the point of intersection of the side wall with the cover which is farthest from the position of the bung.
Abstract: A plastic drum is formed with a body having at access hole on top and protective chimes. The body also includes a sloping bottom with a sump aligned with the access hole to allow, substantially, all the contents of the drum to be removed without turning the body upside down.
