Abstract: Hardened reusable shipping containers with a reversible label holder and methods of using the same are disclosed herein. A hardened reusable shipping container may have a base enclosure having a payload area that is configured to receive a payload and maintain a temperature of an environment surrounding the payload. The base enclosure may further have an exterior surrounding the payload area. The exterior may include multiple walls. One of the multiple walls may define a recess. The hardened reusable shipping container may have a plate having a first surface and a second surface opposing the first surface. The plate may be configured to be removably inserted into the recess and display one or more visuals on at least one of the first surface and the second surface.

Abstract: An embedded plate frame structure, having a polygonal or arc-shaped frame body; the polygonal frame body includes at least a first frame, a second frame and a third frame; a panel is installed on the frame body; the first frame, the second frame and the third frame are formed by metal profiles; the metal profiles are provided with accommodating grooves; peripheral sides of the panel are respectively inserted into the corresponding accommodating grooves of the first frame, the second frame and the third frame and extruded, such that the panel is connected with the first frame, the second frame and the third frame into a whole; the metal profile is provided with a reinforcing portion, and the reinforcing portion is integrally formed with an outer side of the metal profile.

Abstract: A plant protection/deer exclusion enclosure includes a segment of fencing formed into an overlapping spiral configuration to define a variable diameter enclosed cylindrical volume that protects a plant from browsing or rubbing by deer. The overlapping spiral configuration is characterized by the first column of rectangular openings of the fencing being positioned radially outside, and in superimposed alignment with, the last column of rectangular openings. A plurality of fasteners contact both the first and second side wires of the rectangular openings in both the first column and the second column to provide structural integrity, especially in the attachment portion, of the enclosed cylindrical volume.

Abstract: This application describes fabric storage totes, as well as techniques for use of fabric totes in an infrastructure that uses mechanical systems to transport the fabric totes and/or access inventory items in the fabric totes. The fabric totes may include a fabric base and side walls, with a hardened material support structure. Additionally, the fabric totes may include two handles made of a substantially hard material. The fabric totes may be accessed and transported, manually and/or mechanically, via interaction with the handles.

Abstract: A mesh container includes a bottom meshwork, a side meshwork and a frame. The side meshwork is arranged around a periphery edge of the bottom meshwork. The side meshwork has a bottom edge which is connected with the periphery edge. The side meshwork has a top edge which stretches outwardly along a direction parallel to the bottom meshwork. The frame is arranged around the side meshwork. The frame clamps the top edge of the side meshwork. The frame has two reverse edgings and a crease so as to increase strength of the frame. As such, the container has a stable frame.

Abstract: A carrying apparatus includes a metal basket and a metal frame. The metal basket includes a bottom and a wall attached to the bottom. The wall includes an upper edge and a bent connection extending from the wall to the upper edge. The metal frame includes a vertical portion, a first horizontal portion, a bent connection extending from the vertical portion to the first horizontal portion, a second horizontal portion, a retroflex connection extending from the first horizontal portion to the second horizontal portion and a roiled edge extending from the second horizontal portion. The bent connection of the basket is clamped between the bent connection and the rolled edge of the frame. Therefore, the frame is secured to the basket.

Abstract: A wire mesh mat for Gabion baskets for securing slopes has longitudinal wires and transverse wires connected to one another and having wire ends, respectively. At least some of the wire ends have an eye, respectively. The wire ends provided with the eye have a compensation section configured to compensate expansions and compressions occurring in a longitudinal direction of the wires. The compensation section has two legs and the eye is positioned between the two legs of the compensation section.

Abstract: The invention provides a method of packaging an aqueous liquid whereby a charge of the liquid is charged through a closable opening into acontainer. A source of inorganic ions which are soluble in the liquid is also inserted into the container. The opening is then closed to retain the liquid and the source in the container. There is also provided a liquid pack comprising a container having a closable opening and an aqueous liquid in the container. A source of inorganic ions in the container contacts the liquid, the ions being soluble in the liquid and the source comprising a carrier for said ions of solid material insoluble in the liquid and having said ions sorbed thereto. The invention also provides a device comprising said source and a receptacle in which it is held captive.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a container comprising a first piece of mesh material and at least one separate second piece of mesh material. The first piece of mesh is bent to form a bottom wall and a first pair of sidewalls. The second piece of material forms a second pair of sidewalls. When the pieces are joined together, a basket portion with an upwardly-extending opening is formed. The basket portion may further include a runner portion that may be a separate rail connected to the basket portion, thus forming a drawer. When the container is used with a drawer system including a frame, the runner portion is slidably received in a pair of frame runners. This allows the drawer to move with respect to the frame between retracted and extended positions. The present invention is also directed to a method for making such containers.

Abstract: A woven plastic container for plants is provided having an outside bottom band, a plurality of splints, an inside top band, a plurality of weave strips, and an outside top band. The outside bottom band has an interior surface and an exterior surface. Each splint is spaced apart a predetermined distance from each directly adjacent splint, and each splint is in contact with the outside bottom band interior surface. The inside top band has an interior surface and an exterior surface, with the exterior surface being in contact with each of the splints. Each of the weave strips is woven through the splints, and each of the weave strips is spaced at predetermined distances from each directly adjacent weave strip. The outside top band has an interior surface and an exterior surface, and with the interior surface being in contact with each of the splints. In one embodiment of the invention the container has a base, with the base being attached to the splints and the outside bottom band.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding and lifting items of food for use in connection with cooking includes a network comprised of interconnected flexible heat resistant plastic members and handles formed on two opposite sides of the network, with each of the handles being comprised of a plurality of flexible heat resistant plastic members connected to the network. A portion of the handle members may be removed to adjust the length of the handle. In a presently preferred embodiment, the network is comprised of a plurality of concentric circles interconnected by radial members. The handles are preferably formed by extensions of the radial members with a plurality of looping members connected between them. The handles may preferably be adjusted by cutting the radial extension members to remove a preselected number of looping members to adjust the length of the handles.

Abstract: A compost retention unit is provided. The compost retention unit includes mesh retention material secured to a plurality of pivotally interconnected frame structures such that the mesh retention material and the plurality of frame structures can cooperate to retain compost within the unit when the unit is fully assembled upon a generally flat surface. In preferred embodiments, a first frame structure can pivot 180 degrees with respect to a second frame structure when the unit is being assembled. The most preferred retention unit includes three rectangular frame structures, preferably made of four lengths of wooden "two-by-four" or "two-by-six" framing materials, and the mesh retention material is preferably a wire mesh material.

Abstract: A utility container is formed of a light-in-weight, durable, flexible and resilient elastomeric material and is constructed in open mesh design so that it drains quickly and completely upon being lifted from a body of water and so that it refills quickly when reintroduced into the body of water. Accordingly, its use substantially lowers the amount of effort expended by a fisher in lifting and lowering the container when fishing from a bridge, relative to bucket-type containers. The elastomeric material is inherently buoyant so that the container floats without external flotation devices. In a preferred embodiment, the container has a cylindrical sidewall and a pair of opposed, circular end walls. A leading and a trailing end of the sidewall are disposed in overlapping relation to one another to form a normally closed access opening that is silently opened and closed upon insertion into and withdrawal of a hand into and from the container so that creatures in the container are not startled.

Abstract: A handheld, rotatable food roasting apparatus for use in supporting food over a campfire or the like includes a cylindrical receptacle including opposed axial ends, an open interior space, and an opening formed in one of the axial ends through which food may be placed into and removed from the interior space. An elongated handle is attached to the receptacle for allowing the apparatus to be supported and rotated over the source of heat. In order to facilitate transportation of the device, the handle may be sectioned.

Abstract: Apparatus for cleaning litter such as paper from a surface and a method of using such apparatus are described. An open-end portable basket is provided made of wire mesh to hold the litter while allowing dirt and air to pass therethrough. A portable hand held blower directs the litter from the surface into the basket. The basket retains the litter but allows air and surface dirt to pass therethrough.

Abstract: A dishwasher bag for use in combination with an automatic dishwashing machine to ensure a thorough cleansing of small objects and articles of a fragile or delicate nature. The bag is principally comprised of an open mesh material with a large opening at the top to accommodate the convenient insertion and removal of the objects to be cleansed. The opening usually spans the approximate length of the bag and is designed to be placed and cleaned inside. The opening is reinforced usually with a rigid frame and includes a cover element with a plurality of openings to allow water to penetrate from the top. The cover is connected to the bag by one or more hinges affixed to one side of the rigid frame and includes a clasp or similar type of device to secure the cover when closed.

Abstract: A readily assembled container for holding a plurality of filled trash bags awaiting collection. The container consists of six rectangular panels each having a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe frame and a section of galvanized wire hardware cloth attached to the inside of the frame. Five of the six panels are designed and sized to be bolted together to form the sides and bottom of a knock-down trash container. The sixth panel is sized to form a cover connected to the container by a pair of hinges. The container is supported above the ground by four legs of variable length also made of PVC pipe which fit into sockets at the four bottom corners of the assembled container.

Abstract: A cook pot formed from a sheet which includes a fibrous web formed of a flame retardative synthetic resin, and a water-impermeable layer integrally formed on at least one side of the web. The cook pot has a bottom wall and a side wall extending upwardly about the periphery of the bottom wall.
