Abstract: A collapsible container system includes a container having a set of walls interconnected with one another and a bottom member. The walls and the bottom member define a cavity in a first state. A set of bags is in a nested arrangement, and the nested arrangement defines a first bag being contained within a next bag of the set of bags. The first bag is removed through a top opening of the next bag enabling the next bag as a receptacle. A first connector ribbon is disposed near a rim of the container, and the first connector ribbon connects to a perimeter of each of the set of bags via a first connection. A second connector ribbon is disposed at one of the walls of the container, and the second connector ribbon connects to a side of each of the set of bags via a second connection.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus for securing a trash liner. The apparatus includes a retainer channel disposed on at least a portion of an interior surface proximate to an aperture of a support structure. The retainer channel includes an inner surface defining an interior space within the retainer channel for receiving a mouth portion of the trash liner therein. Further, the apparatus includes a retainer member. The retainer member includes one or more flange members. Each flange member of the one or more flange members extends from a bottom portion of the retainer member and is oriented along a longitudinal axis of the support structure. The retainer member is configured to removably secure to the retainer channel for retaining the mouth portion of the trash liner therebetween, while an unsecured portion of the trash liner is disposed within the support structure.

Abstract: A luggage cover and wheel well assembly for transporting luggage. The luggage cover includes a generally rigid base and wheel well assembly positioned within the protective base. The wheel well assembly includes a base support and a pair of expandable members. The expandable members cooperate with the base support to move between a retracted position to an expanded position to secure luggage of various sizes within the luggage cover.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic bag comprised of a front panel and a back panel. The front panel and back panel are generally joined along a first side edge, a second side edge, and a bottom edge of the respective front panel and back panel. The front panel has a distal edge with the distal edge folded over the front panel to provide a hem and an overlap area immediately below the first hem. The overlap encapsulates a scent carrier that can provide a scent to the thermoplastic bag.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a composting device including a housing defining an interior with an access opening providing access to the interior, a composter bin located within the interior and in communication with the access opening, and a funnel assembly integrated with the access opening.

Abstract: A trash receptacle includes a support base, and a portable storage container having a centrally registered longitudinal axis, wherein the portable storage container is detachably seated on the support base such that the support base is located exterior of the portable storage container. A trash bag is removably lined within the storage container and situated about the centrally registered longitudinal axis. Advantageously, the trash bag is suitably configured inside the portable storage container to receive and hold existing drink cups in a vertically stacked pattern.

Abstract: An adapter device that enables smaller drinking cups to fit within larger drinking cups for a beverage-drinking game, said smaller cups holding a different beverage than the larger cups. The device comprises a continuous planar band for covering the top rim of the smaller diameter cup; and a plurality of clips extending downwardly from the continuous planar band. Each device can be removed from the cups and worn as a wristband.

Abstract: An apparatus used with a sleeve receptacle to make an animal waste bag holder apparatus or with a trash can receptacle to allow air captured between the bag and the the trash can to escape. The apparatus includes a bolt that extends through a side hole formed on the receptacle. The bolt's head is placed adjacent to the inside surface of the receptacle and the threaded shaft extends through the side hole. When a plastic bag is inserted into the receptacle, the bag's top edge is folded over the outside surface of the receptacle and placed below or adjacent to the side hole. The holder includes a flange nut with internal threads which when tightened on the shaft, presses against the portion of the plastic bag adjacent to the side hole. When tightened, the portion of the plastic bag is pulled which tightens the plastic bag around the receptacle.

Abstract: The bag may include a draw tape that may be used to cinch closed the opening of the bag. The draw tape has at least one stretched elastomeric strip attached to the draw tape in an extended condition. The draw tape may be smaller in size than the bag sidewalls. The draw tape may include an elastic characteristic, such as patterned ribs. In one embodiment, the roll of bag is kept under tension to maintain the elastomeric strips in a stretched condition.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention include a reusable, collapsible container, which when in a disassembled state is completely contained in an area no larger than the base member thereof, is easy to assemble, and due to the interlocking features of a number of the component parts of the container, requires a minimal number of separate locking/fastening devices.

Abstract: A trashcan with a lid can include a pedal bar and a pedal protector. The pedal protector can be flipped and/or rotated, such that the pedal protector can be moved adjacent the pedal (e.g. below the pedal) or away from the pedal bar. The trashcan with a lid can further include at least one notch and/or divider to allow for insertion of more than one trash bag into the body of the trashcan.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container and a pouch. The container and pouch is preferably mutually shaped so that the pouch fits tightly into the container. The container comprises a closure for closing the container and preferably being adapted to maintain the pouch in an open state in a position where its opening is facing upwardly. In addition, the closure comprises a lid, allowing re-closable access to the contents stored in the pouch.

Abstract: A receptacle includes a base panel and a sidewall having first and second sets of opposed side panels. First and second retention assemblies are formed through the first and second sets of side panels, and the first retention assembly is vertically offset from the second retention assembly. The first and second retention assemblies each include a plurality of tiered engagements, which engagements have a hole and a rigid finger projecting downwardly into the hole. Bags are applied to the receptacle and retained by the engagements in a tiered, nested fashion. The receptacle is collapsible from an assembled condition to a disassembled condition or a storage condition.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container (2) and a pouch (1). The container and pouch is preferably mutually shaped so that the pouch fits tightly into the container. The container comprises a closure (5) for closing the container and preferably being adapted to maintain the pouch in an open state in a position where its opening is facing upwardly. In addition, the closure comprises a lid (7), allowing re-closable access to the contents stored in the pouch.

Abstract: A wastebasket designed to work in combination with a trash bag insert, the wastebasket having one or more openings or slots on one or more of its sidewalls, the openings extending from the upper rim of the wastebasket to a point near the bottom of the wastebasket, so as to allow for an inward and outward motion of the sidewall sections so as to allow overstuffing of the trash bag while allowing the overstuffed bag to readily be removed from the wastebasket and/or the insertion of a trash bag whose opening circumference is smaller than the upper rim circumference of the wastebasket, whereby the trash bag is secured to the rim of the wastebasket.

Abstract: A trash can for hanging and retaining standard kitchen trash bags in a sanitary and energy efficient manner. Novel trash bag support brackets are suspended spatially within the trash can to allow a user to stretch the mouth of a trash bag thereabout without touching any other surface. The trash bag opens from the front, allowing a user to hang the trash bag without bending or stooping. Foot pedals control three different lid positions. A combination false bottom/catch pan tilts backwards to collect and contain any solid or liquid waste. An integral pedal-to-lid linkage shield affixed to the back of the false floor doubles as a handle to lift the false bottom/catch pan out from the trash can for cleaning.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container (1) having a hollow shell defining a body with a dispensing aperture, and a bag (4) within the shell (2), the open end of the bag extending through the dispensing aperture and being secured with respect to the outside of the shell. The bag (4) is made from a material suitable for containing the intended contents of the container (1). Therefore the shell (2) may be formed from a material that would not be suitable for containing the intended contents of the container alone. The shell (2) may be formed from a biodegradable material, such as wood or paper pulp. The bag (4) may be separated from the main body of the container to allow for separate disposal. The container (1) may be sealed by providing a spout through which the contents of the container are to be dispensed, and by folding the spout over to create a nip which seals the container.

Abstract: The disclosure provides apparatus and methods of use pertaining to disposable bucket liners for storing solid or liquid content. One embodiment provides a flexible bag configured to conform to an interior of a common painting bucket and overlap an open top end of the bucket so as to provide stability for the bag and protection for the bucket. The bag includes a reusable closing member that allows the bag to be removed from the bucket and stored to facilitate repeated use before disposal. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Abstract: A trash bag securing system is provided. The trash bag securing device includes a trash receptacle or trash receptacle rim. The trash receptacle includes a bottom portion and at least one sidewall extending from the bottom portion. The sidewall may include an inner surface and an outer surface, with the receptacle formed within the inner surface of the sidewall. The sidewall further includes a rim forming an entrance leading into the receptacle. At least one opening is formed through the sidewall. The trash bag securing device may further include an elastic cord, such as a stretchable bungee cord. The elastic cord may be a continuous, unbroken loop or broken with a first and second end and may include a cord lock, or adjustable knot so as to customize tension around the rim of the receptacle. The elastic cord is attached to the trash receptacle through the at least one opening. The elastic cord is sized to fit around the outer surface of the sidewall to secure a trash bag to the trash receptacle.

Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to provide an improved lid for covering a trash can or other waste receptacle with a removable interior liner. The lid includes a collar which fits concentrically around at least a portion of an exterior surface of a body of the waste receptacle. The collar extends the length or diameter and depth of the lid such that when positioned over the opening of the trash can, the lid conceals at least a portion of the exterior surface of the body of the waste receptacle and at least a portion of the removable interior liner from exterior view. The invention may or may not use ribs within the interior frame of the lid to allow proper positioning of the lid over the opening of the trash can body.

Abstract: A waste container for disposing sanitary waste, such as soiled diapers, comprises a canister having a storage space, an opening at an upper end and a bottom at a lower end. A retainer frame is pivotally attached to the canister and has an aperture for inserting a trash bag through the aperture and folding an upper edge of the trash bag over the retainer frame. A retainer is pivotally attached to the canister and has a rim that inserts into the aperture of the retainer frame to retain the trash bag. A lid having a hole which aligns with the aperture of the retainer frame is pivotally attached to the canister for allowing the lid to pivot between a closed position covering the opening and an open position. A sliding door is coupled to the lid and is slidable between a closed position and an open position.

Abstract: A waste receptacle includes a housing with an opening at least on one side and a holding frame for refuse bags which is placed removably at least indirectly on an edge of the opening of the housing. The receptacle may further include a cover frame.

Abstract: A recycling bin has left and right sidewalls, a base, and front wall. The front wall is lower than the other three walls, and when two bins are stacked in a 0° stacking configuration, the lower front wall of the lower bin and a sloped surface on the lower portion of the upper bin create a recyclable receiving chute. When stacked, the upper bin is held to the lower bin by a combination of a channel on the lower rear portion of the base fitting over a handle resting upon an upper portion of the rear wall. A lower lip on the lower portion of the rear wall aligns with the handle and substantially prevents front-wards and backwards motion of the upper bin. A portion of the handle fits within a top open portion of the rear wall. The bin also has a plurality of inverted “V” shaped liner retainers.

The device further includes a waste inlet and a throat area therebetween, wherein a releasable gripping assembly (155, 158, 159, 168) is provided in the throat area and arranged for actuation between a released configuration defining an aperture for passage of waste therethrough and a gripping configuration defining a restriction in the throat area.

Each longitudinal member of the plurality of longitudinal members may be repositioned about a longitudinal axis of the longitudinal member. A first-end coupling portion of the end of a first longitudinal side of the assembly may be selectively coupled to a second-end coupling portion of an opposite end of an opposite second longitudinal side of the assembly to form an interior cavity. The support apparatus is configured to support an object within the interior cavity. An additional intermediary coupling portion is provided to allow construction of support assemblies of multiple sizes.

Abstract: An improved receptacle liner bag is formed of two layers of thin flexible stretchable plastic sheets which are sealed along the sides and bottom, but are unsealed along the top of the bag. The sheets are die-cut to form a framed opening which defines a band between the sides and the top of the bag. When the bag is placed in the receptacle, the band may be disposed around the outside of the sides of the receptacle and stretched over the base of the receptacle so as to provide a hold-down for the bag in the receptacle. The sheets may be perforated along a line below the framed opening. The line, when opened, forms an auxiliary band which can be stretched over and placed behind a hinge of a lid of the receptacle to secure the back of the liner bag in the receptacle.

Abstract: An article sorting apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a container having a bottom and a longitudinally extending sidewall extending therefrom and a panel positioned proximal the container. The panel includes a cylindrically shaped shoulder extending therefrom and that defines a channel in alignment with the shoulder and that extends through the panel for allowing pass-through of a matched pair of socks. The cylindrically shaped shoulder is configured for receiving an open end of a first sock. A second sock is positioned proximal the first sock and inserted into and through a respective channel and disposed into the container.

Abstract: An ostomy closure is disclosed for sealing an ostomy pouch after use and removal from an ostomy mounting plate. The ostomy mounting plate is secured to an individual. The ostomy closure comprises a cap body defining an interior surface and an exterior surface extending to a peripheral edge. A cap flange is coupled to the peripheral edge of the cap body and extends from the interior surface of the cap body. A cap locking member is integral to the cap flange. A cap lip defining an interior surface and an exterior surface extends from the cap flange for manipulating the cap body and the cap flange. The cap flange couples with a pouch flange of the ostomy pouch for defining a sealing closure for maintaining the stool and the stool odor within the ostomy chamber and a locking closure for preventing inadvertent removal of the cap flange from the pouch flange.

Abstract: A trashcan includes a container having a base and a peripheral wall extending upwardly from the base forming an interior space for receipt of a trash bag therein; and a trash bag retention member disposed on the peripheral wall, the retention member defining a passageway into the interior space of the container and comprising a plurality of resilient, flexible fingers configured to receive and retain therebetween a portion of a trash bag. Each finger includes a portion thereof that extends away from the peripheral wall. Each finger is “bent” and extends away from the peripheral wall. A finger may extend away from the peripheral wall on the exterior of the container, away from the peripheral wall on the interior of the container, or both. A method of making the trashcan includes injection molding the container and the retention member separately or, alternatively, together.

Abstract: The bag for receiving refuse may include a bag body, the bag body including an inside surface, an outside surface, and a rim defining a mouth. The bag may also include a first strip of material disposed on the inside surface of the bag body proximate the rim. The strip may include an inside surface, an outside surface that faces the inside surface of the body, a top edge, and a bottom edge. The bag may also include a front wall, a back wall, and a hem, the hem including a drawstring. The strip may include a printed design. The design could be letters, numbers, pictures, writing, or any other design. When the bag is inserted into a trash receptacle such that the rim of the bag is folded over the rim of the receptacle, the printed design is visible from outside the receptacle.

Abstract: A modular berm system and method for installing the berm system about a containment area are provided. The berm system is formed by interconnecting a plurality of panels in an end-to-end arrangement. Corner pieces which enhance the modularity, stability and rigidity of the berm system are also provided. A continuous liquid barrier liner overlies the containment area and the supporting perimeter of panels. The liner blocks any discontinuities between panels. Discontinuities can be overlapped with flaps for protection of the liner.

Abstract: A container for spent cat litter. The disposal container is in the form of a box having a bottom and sidewalls emanating therefrom and terminating in an edge defining an opening. The bottom and sidewalls establish a volume. A lid is hingedly connected to a retainer, the retainer being removably supported by the edge. The retainer is sized with respect to the sidewalls to enable a liner to be draped within the container and over the edge to be maintained by frictionally fitting the retainer to the liner and sidewalls. The lid is sized to removably reside over the opening when the retainer is applied to the sidewalls, the lid having a seal positioned with respect to the edge to minimize odors emanating from the volume.

Abstract: A non-self supporting containment bag used in conjunction with a dumpster container. The bag and liner each have a zipper, where the zippers are centered on the bag top, and in use, the bag top is usually inverted to access the interior of the bag.

Abstract: A trash container includes a bottom receptacle with a hinged lid. The hinge connection makes hinge opening(s) along the hinge axis. A trash bag in the receptacle, which extends up and over the sides of the receptacle, includes upward-extending back tab(s) for placement through the hinge opening(s). A removable elastic band fits around the receptacle below the lid to secure the bag and tabs in place in the receptacle.

Abstract: A kit for displaying beverages, includes a first corrugated fiberboard for supporting a bin within a cavity of the first corrugated fiberboard. A second corrugated fiberboard displays at least one of words, images, and shapes, and is capable of being removably mounted to the first corrugated fiberboard. A third corrugated fiberboard supports the articles placed in the bin, and inserts within the cavity of the first corrugated fiberboard. A fourth corrugated fiberboard receives the articles therein, and comprises a portion of the bin and inserts within the cavity of the first corrugated fiberboard supported by the third corrugated fiberboard and secured by the first corrugated fiberboard.

The container possesses a bottom surface, at least one wall with at least one top edge extending from the bottom surface. The collar includes at least one inner wall and at least one outer wall, with at least one curved edge joining the at least one outer wall and the at least one inner wall. The inner and outer walls form a channel. In one embodiment, a flexible liner is held in place by the collar.

A channel member with an open top and bottom extends inward into the container, enclosing the slotted opening within the container. A base section supporting the container has an interior space in which a roll of trash bags is rotatably mounted. A single trash bag from the roll is threaded from the interior space and through the channel. The trash bag exits from the open top of the channel where its perforation is separated from the roll of trash bags. The adjacent, next trash bag on the roll remains in the channel member. A new, clean trash bag is thus easily accessible to the user by simply pulling the next trash bag which is exposed through the open top of the channel member.

Abstract: A disposable portable toilet that is efficiently fabricated from foldable stock, such as corrugated cardboard, with minimal waste and adapted with a fluid absorbing inner liner is disclosed. Foldable stock material is formed as a blank sheet having a plurality of fold lines defining multiple panels disposed in side-by-side relation, and a joining tab. Each panel includes a fold-in tab that functions to provide a rim. The blank sheet provides a structure that may be configured to form a support structure that is selectively configurable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. An absorbent liner is insertedly received within the support structure. Padding sections are disposed on the liner in proximity to overlay the top rim of the support structure when the liner is received therein thereby providing the device with a padded upper rim. A drawstring functions as a closure member to close the liner after use.

Abstract: A party trash pail including a container of predetermined volume, a plasticized liner removably insertable therein of a configuration to expand towards filling the container volume when laden with trash, yet with an upper dimension to overlap a defining outer rim of the container, and a header bearing against an outer surface of the liner to retain it in place within the container.

Abstract: A trash receptacle system includes an outer shell and an inner liner. The inner liner includes a cut-out and a gate having a hinged attachment proximate the cut-cut. The gate is movable about the hinged attachment between an open configuration where the cut-out is exposed and a closed configuration where the gate extends across the cut-out to secure a trash to the inner liner.
