Abstract: A convertible storage assembly is disclosed with a body with an interior space. In an embodiment, a removable waterproof liner may divide the space into first and second compartments. With a liner in place, the first compartment is accessible through a first removable barrier and is water-retaining due to the liner: and the second compartment is accessible through a second removable barrier. The size of the second compartment may be changed by deforming a flexible liner, or by changing from a first liner to a second liner of different shape.

Abstract: A biodegradable litter kit to be used for the collection and disposal of animal waste. The kit includes a litter box having a tray portion and a retractable lid. The tray has a bottom and at least one protruding side. The box includes a perforated false bottom positioned within the tray for holding a layer of fresh litter above the bottom of the tray. The perforated false bottom permits for the passage of soiled litter but prevents the passage of fresh litter to the bottom of the tray thus keeping a layer of fresh litter accessible for use by an animal.

Abstract: A lightweight explosive containment device that is used to transport blasting caps, explosive precursors, or homemade explosives. Open cellular foam material within the container diffuses explosive gases and absorbs kinetic energy. An internal clapper tube distributes forces to the ligaments of the cellular foam material and an external support tube contains the explosive fragmentation and blast overpressure. A system of containers with storage capabilities that enable the transportation of a number of lightweight explosive containment devices is presented. An alternate configuration of the present invention utilizes the open cellular foam material to create a directional disruption device. Such a tool prevents explosive gases and fragmentation from causing unnecessary collateral damage to the surroundings or supporting robot.

The retainer body can have a height that extends from a base to a top of the retainer body and can include a plurality of exterior side walls that extend the height of the retainer body. The retainer body can include a compartment separator that extends between the first compartment and the second compartment. The first compartment can include a first sub-compartment that retains one of the first wax melts, and a second sub-compartment that retains another of the first wax melts.

At least one of the tracks on each side is generally U-shaped. Each dunnage support comprises end members and a middle member, the end members being movable along the tracks. The dunnage supports support dunnage for supporting products for storage or shipment.

Abstract: An egg carton includes a base and a lid that are hinged together through a web. The base and lid may include side walls extending around the base and the lid, the base including at least one egg cup for receiving an egg but typically around six. The base further includes at least one compartment in the base for containing other ingredients than eggs, such as bacon. The lid and base include co-operating members arranged so that when the lid is closed on the base the co-operating members ensure that there is a gap between the side walls of the lid and base to allow the flow of air into and out of the carton. This ensures that no moisture collects in the carton that can affect the longevity of the eggs and other ingredients.

A lid is secured over the base and intermediate body and an inter-engagement mechanism is associated with each exterior facing side of the base, lid and intermediate body for assembling the base, lid and body into a tier defining enclosure for holding and transporting the items. A pair of intermediate bodies may further include each a primary tier defining body and a secondary tier defining body. The base may further include a recessed flat interior and upwardly extending and interconnecting side and end walls. Each of the primary and secondary tier defining bodies can, in a preferred embodiment, exhibit a generally similar four sided profile incorporating a plurality of inner perimeter defined and item receiving apertures.

Abstract: A lunch box assembly having a main housing having a lid rotatably, hingedly attached to a base to provide access to an opened interior of one or more compartments is disclosed. The lid can have ferrously magnetic material and recesses to accept magnets. The magnets can be shaped to fit the recesses. The base can have compartments aligned with corresponding compartments in the lid. The base and the lid can form one or more closed food storage compartments that separate the contents from the neighboring compartments. A latch on the base and lid can produce a clamping force on a small lidded container or containers placed in one or more of the compartments. The clamping force can clamp the lidded container closed and prevent leakage of fluids in the container.

Abstract: A hydrogen storage tank for a hydrogen fueled aircraft. The tank has a wall made of layers of aerogel sections around a hard shell layer, sealed within a flexible outer layer, and having the air removed to form a vacuum. The periphery of each layer section abuts other sections of that layer, but only overlies the periphery of the sections of other layers at individual points. The wall is characterized by a thermal conductivity that is lower near its gravitational top than its gravitational bottom. The tank has two exit passageways, one being direct, and the other passing through a vapor shield that extends through the wall between two layers of aerogel. A control system controls the relative flow through the two passages to regulate the boil-off rate of the tank.

Abstract: The group of inventions relates to the food industry, more specifically to embodiments of a packaging for pre-portioned confectionery goods consisting of one or a number of portions. A packaging for confectionery goods consisting of a number of portions comprises a lid and a base that is provided with at least one raised flat section for holding trays corresponding to the number of portions of the goods in question. Each tray has a means for the removal thereof from the packaging, in the form, for example, of a tongue situated on the side that faces the edge of the packaging base, and at least one tray anchoring projection with a widened part is provided on the base between each pair of adjacent trays. Furthermore, pairs of projections may be provided along the edges of the raised section to restrict the movement in a horizontal plane both of the tongues and of the trays with the confectionery goods.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of treating fibromyalgia, by administering a therapeutically-effective combination of an antiviral component and a COX-2 inhibitor component. The invention is further related to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a combination of a therapeutically-effective amount of the antiviral compound famciclovir and a therapeutically-effective amount of the COX-2 inhibitor celecoxib. The invention is also related to methods of treating functional somatic syndromes by administering a therapeutically-effective combination of famciclovir and celecoxib.

Abstract: Described herein are systems relating to packaging boxes. In some implementations, the packaging boxes include one or more trays used to support product cups, such as k-cups. The product cups, for example, can be used to hold tea, coffee, or flavoring. Some examples of flavoring include honey or other liquid flavoring a user can add to tea or coffee to adjust the flavor of the tea or coffee (e.g., honey comb and lemon grass, creamer, orange marmalade, mint peach, etc.). The packaging boxes can include a longitudinal axis parallel to the top and a long side of the box. The trays placed in the packaging boxes, for example, can have a similar longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal axes of the packaging box.

Abstract: A carrier for covering and transporting baked goods or other food products includes a base for supporting a pie, cake, cupcakes, or other baked goods. A cover is configured to be attached to the base to generally enclose the carrier, thereby protecting the baked goods for transport or storage. Abstract: Novel methods and devices for organizing and storing articles are disclosed. The storage devices may include a flexible inner container having one or more partition walls therein. An outer skirt may be attached to the top of the container wherein the skirt extends downward to the bottom of the container to form a sleeve. The inner container and the outer skirt are configured to be self-supporting, whereby one or more articles may be stored in an upright manner in the container. The sleeve is preferably configured to receive a basket to add further support to the device. If desired, a user may advantageously employ the disclosed methods or devices to organize and store articles in a container in a manner that maximizes floor space under low-hanging clothes in a closet, for example.

A structural member for increasing the rigidity of the carrier plate is also provided that includes at least one box profiled region between at least two through-openings on the upper face of the carrier plate.

Abstract: A double bucket cleaning system for use with microfiber mat mops. One bucket contains clean water; the second holds dirty water. The second bucket has a slide press for extracting dirty water from the mop. The system can use a connector to connect the two buckets together, or a single bucket with two compartments can be used. Both designs use a footpad upon which the user stands during the pressing operation. This ensures that the device remains in place during the sliding. Finally, once the dirty water has been extracted from the mop, the user can pick up clean water from the first bucket for the next portion of the floor to be cleaned. In this way, the user is able to quickly clean a large floor with clean water, instead of repeatedly dipping the mop back into dirty water.

The spout includes a plurality of channels that each connects via ductwork to the packet compartments where the refill packets connect. The refill packets dispense a condiment through the respective ductwork and out a channel of the spout. Each packet compartment includes a loader door that is pivotally engaged with respect to the housing, and which can open outwardly to enable the refill packets to be inserted and removed from the respective packet compartment.

Abstract: A dual-purpose seal is provided that forms part of a container for storing and dispensing consumer products. The container can be used in place of conventional blister packs for the packaging of pills, tablets, or capsules or in place of conventional multi-cavity containers for organizing and storing mixed medication for subsequent dispensing according to a predefined dosage regimen. The container includes a tray having a generally planar top surface into which has been formed one or more discrete cavities. The seal includes a cover film having pre-formed lines of separation defining a removable portion, and a barrier film that is secured to the cover film by a layer of peelable adhesive. The barrier film has pre-formed lines of separation defining a barrier patch. The barrier film also includes a heat-sealing adhesive such that the dual-purpose seal can be adhered to the tray in two different ways.

Abstract: A dual-chambered beverage container in the form of a shot glass. The interior of the glass is bisected via a hinged divider flap, creating two separate chambers within the glass. The upper chamber holds a first beverage, preferably a shot of hard liquor, while the bottom chamber holds a volume of a second beverage, such as soda or juice. When the shot glass is in a resting position, the divider flap is closed, segregating the beverages in their respective chambers. A user begins to drink the first beverage, the hinged diver flap will slowly swing open, allowing the second beverage to flow out of the bottom chamber, through the upper chamber, and into the user's mouth. Thus the user experiences the taste of the shot of hard liquor only briefly before consuming the chaser beverage.

Abstract: An insert for a receptacle intended to contain a concentrated product in solid or liquid form includes a main part (1) formed by a base (2) extended on the edge by a wall (3) perpendicular to the base, with an opening (4) formed in the base. A receptacle with such an insert is also provided. In order to enable emptying the receptacle entirely without leaving dead spaces in which the products to be solubilized may accumulate, the face of the base (2) intended to be in the receptacle after assembly is concave at the opening, so that the opening is at the bottom of a trough (6). This avoids corners in which the liquid would not circulate sufficiently, and prevents solid product from accumulating elsewhere than in the trough, so that it is always subjected to the flow of liquid.

Abstract: A portable cabinet for a first aid kit is configured with a matrix of compartments. Each of the compartments has an open box-like shape defined by four panels with a generally uniform depth. One panel has a projecting retainer at an intermediate position thereof. The first aid items are contained in substantially rectangular packages which each have an aperture. The packages are closely received in corresponding compartments so that the retainer in each compartment engages into the aperture to retain the package with the compartment. In one embodiment, the cabinet employs a back plate to facilitate mounting the cabinet to a wall. The inside of the cover is also configured to receive various first aid items.

Abstract: A parts management system includes a compartment having a plurality of cup-shaped cells formed in the base of the compartment. Side walls of the compartment include notches formed therein. The parts management system further includes dividers that may be engaged with the notches to subdivide the parts management system into smaller subcompartments. In use, smaller parts, such as fasteners, are detached from an item to be disassembled and placed in the cup-shaped cells within particular subcompartments. The larger components associated with the fasteners are removed from the item to be disassembled and are also loaded into the subcompartments in proximity to their associated fasteners. The parts can be loaded into the parts management system in sequential order during disassembly of the item. The parts can then be unloaded from the parts management system in a reverse order during reassembly of the item.

Abstract: A device capable of storing beverages is provided with a base and a lid. The base includes a central cavity capable of retaining beverage containers and a cooling component. The bottoms of beverage containers may rest in container-retaining pockets molded into the bottom of the base and the tops of beverage containers may rest in one or more pockets protruding from the lid. One advantage is that the beverage containers may come into direct contact with the cooling component located in the central cavity of the base of the device.

Abstract: The invention is a refill device for a cylindrical type of multi-dosing detergent delivery device wherein, said refill device comprises a plurality of detergent carrying chambers (210) sharing a common backing substrate (230). In prior refill devices, the device is provided to consumers in a fully rolled condition ready to be deployed into the detergent delivery device. However, in the present invention the refill is supplied in flat format with locking features which enable the end consumer to easily perform a rolling operation prior to use. The advantage to this arrangement comes in the lowering of manufacturing costs, packaging, storage and transportation costs that come with a less complicated product.
